i'm guessing the judges didn't like all that showboating Victor was doing.
I didn't quite understand all of the fist raising everytime he thought that he got a good shot landed. Clearly, most others, including the judges, saw it differently than he had!
The coup de gras for me was the lackluster sportsmanship at the end....and that, is why you failed!
agree with you, just to friendly notify you it's "coup de grâce". As in a mercy kill, finishing blow. As in being gracious enough to finish a kill on a wounded animal for example. Gras means fat in French. So what you wrote would roughly translate as a hit with the fat haha.
It was close, but Zi Hao was definitely in control and not back peddling after a few good shots.
pinto, if you want to win, how about hitting your opponent with a good shot and keep hitting him with good shots. don't hit him with a good shot and then spend the next half of the round congratulating yourself
absolutely agree with you, this showboating had been ugly, hence good the jury didn't fall for it. At the end of the fight you see the sportsmanship and respect for your opponent is totally missing from the french fighter.
Learn some respect, I thought you trained in Thailand, have you ever seen a Thai behave like the french fighter did?
He should have accepted his defeat and give respect to the other fighter otherwise there is no honour.
He's french, not surprised by his attitude... And if he is Normandy french, then there is no honor in losing.
I thought exactly the same, he even trained in Thailand where the first thing you learn is respect your opponent.
Never show your anger regarding the jury's decision and let it out in disrespectful way on your opponent!

There is nothing racist about the op's comment, no matter how much you want it to be. They felt that the Asian fighter outperformed the European fighter. What is racist about that? Would you cry "racism" in the same way if someone said, "the European should have won" or "the Chinese guy landed better shots"? Since when are geographical descriptors "racist"? The only people who would find the op's innocuous statement to be even remotely racist are intentionally divisive people who go out of their way to make every single thing about race so they can smugly and self-righteously call others "racist".

I don’t get the attitude of letting someone hit you in the head and act like it’s no big deal and let that fighter hit you again unprotected purposely to show how tough you are. These punches will have an effect 10 yrs from now.
