One of my finest childhood memories is coming home from Toys R Us and opening that Sideways up in the car. I still have him as a desk toy with his key and everything. Genuinely perfect design, that head sculpt was the coolest thing in the world to me.
Really is a great toyline. Absolutely love my Longrack. Also found Defense Scattershot's engineering very impressive, the way the rotating missile turret splits apart and locks into place to form the arms . 13:45 Wait was that an Owl House reference-?
Definitely one of my favorite Transformers toylines ever! I had about 90% of the Cybertron collection, had to sell them all 3 years ago because of financial issues. But still, those were the coolest of the Unicron Trilogy, and the cartoon as well!
This was the first Transformers toyline I really got into. I had a few figures from Beast Wars and Beast Machines, but I never actively wanted figures as much as I did with Cybertron. To this day Sideways is my favorite character from the series. I also just picked up an incomplete Primus.
Cybertron prime was my absolute fav prime of all time, and had a lot of fun attaching leobreaker every time. Really wishing for legacy to have cybertron prime+leobreaker+wing saber, and also hoping for a 3rd party to do it justice too.
If I remember correctly, weren't the Giant Planet Mini-Cons originally Hook, Line and Sinker from the BotCon 2002 Astrotrain set? I know Thew reviewed that figure years ago due to his Astrotrain addiction.
I own the black Scorponok repaint. I had no idea about that bit of trivia. I may have to dig him out of storage, although I’m fairly certain I don’t own any Energon stars. My vote is either for Beast Wars or Animated.
A local comic store in my area has a Supreme Starscream figure mint in box, alongside a mint in box Primus figure. As for the next series you do, my vote is for either the Beast Era, Car Robots, or Animated.
Live in Florida? Wanna hang out sometime? Maybe go to Busch Gardens? We can talk about Cybertron and Landmine's twister abilities. You should see my Transformers collection. Lol.
A toyline I was “too old” for my family to gift me and too young to have a job to buy myself. I am so happy I can experience it as an adult
Thunderblast: 30% Fanservice
70% shell
100% Ship

8:18 that's way too accurate to describe Thunderblast.🤣
I'm surprised that he didn't make a batmobile joke about the megatron
3:54 Botcon thought it was a great idea to make an entire security force based on this mold.
7:11 Weirdly enough, they gave the Cannon Arm a small tab when it was repainted into 07 Allspark Divebomb.
4:41 Colors are based on the unreleased G2 Laser Cycle: Jazz (and would later be repurposed for Shattered Glass: Groove)
The 2010 Toys R Us "reissue" of Wreckloose actually had a very minor deco change.
This is a fun format and a nice way to see everything a line has to offer, would be cool to see Classics or RiD 01 done this way
You called GTS Ransack, GTS Breakdown.
Really is a great toyline. Absolutely love my Longrack.
Also found Defense Scattershot's engineering very impressive, the way the rotating missile turret splits apart and locks into place to form the arms .
13:45 Wait was that an Owl House reference-?
I was just about to ask that!
8:59 It does match the aesthetic of his original toy & was used in IDW's Beast Wars comics.
13:45 got the Enchanting Grom Fright reference. Great Owl House reference to sneak in there. 👍👍
In that case, I could see the legacy version of cannonball being repainted into the Cybertron version of red alert.
You missed Sky shadow- the jetfire repaint

This was absolutely hilarious. I seriously want to see you do this with the Animated toyline in the future.
This was the first Transformers toyline I really got into. I had a few figures from Beast Wars and Beast Machines, but I never actively wanted figures as much as I did with Cybertron. To this day Sideways is my favorite character from the series. I also just picked up an incomplete Primus.
This video was so good! Please do keep up this formular. I always get a laugh out of what TJ comes up with.
I remember getting so many of these. My mother had the patience of a saint.
The toyline I was the closest to collecting all of!
9:27 the most inappropriately placed gimmick ever.
An alternate for Smokescreen: The black gloss is a classic, but the red and blue are just a bit more *Rad.*
The scout class was my favourites. Really want them all!
4:55 GIVE ME MORE INJECT THIS INTO MY VEINS CYBERWORLD YOU BETTER USE HIM
Very well done! Bravo!. Do a poll for the next one :)
I can't think of a line to suggest, but I definitely think that this is a fun idea, and should keep going!
The Animated toy line would probably be a good pick for this series.
Scourge: why weren't you called Predaking?
Would love to see Prime done next, preferably First Edition or RID
Seconded!
I love this format it's fun, would be cool to review the 2007 movie toyline in one sentence.
2:42 Isn't he now a much sought after toy thanks to Earthspark?
2:49 Same with him regarding the brotherly dynamic.
I also wonder if they ever wanted to implement both Hardtop's interest in reading comic books & his rivalry with Bumblebee?
1:43 I know these had market six recolors back in the early 2010s.
Cybertron prime was my absolute fav prime of all time, and had a lot of fun attaching leobreaker every time.
Really wishing for legacy to have cybertron prime+leobreaker+wing saber, and also hoping for a 3rd party to do it justice too.
started getting some Cybertron figures recently, they're awesome.
9:23 I believe it's based on Armada: Predacon.
If I remember correctly, weren't the Giant Planet Mini-Cons originally Hook, Line and Sinker from the BotCon 2002 Astrotrain set? I know Thew reviewed that figure years ago due to his Astrotrain addiction.
suggestions for next line to cover:
Easy Mode: Cloud
Medium: RID 2001
Difficult: Prime
Dante Must Die: Revenge of the Fallen
I own the black Scorponok repaint. I had no idea about that bit of trivia. I may have to dig him out of storage, although I’m fairly certain I don’t own any Energon stars.
My vote is either for Beast Wars or Animated.
6:27/6:28 He does resemble Action Master: Rad
A local comic store in my area has a Supreme Starscream figure mint in box, alongside a mint in box Primus figure.
As for the next series you do, my vote is for either the Beast Era, Car Robots, or Animated.
2:37 Pun not intended?
I never got any Transformers as a gift until the live action movies came out but I did get to play with my uncle's Cybertron Defense Red Alert.
great format, looking forward for more.
14:12 i know a store that has one for sale
Animated.
I'd suggest 07 but that line would be a nightmare, so I guess the next option would be Animated.
Thunderblast from Transformers: Cybertron needs a redo just like fellow FemCon Airachnid from Transformers: Prime.
You missed the chance to say Megatron beat Override to becoming Batman? :O
Every Armada/Energon Release in 1 Sentence.
8:25/8:26 This was & can be repurposed as his army building minions.
4:09 Um… that’s Shortround not Undertow…
I mean if we’re going in order, the next line you need to cover is ‘07 right?
That was fun. There really are some major standouts in the line that still hold up today, but also a lot of trash.
Pretty sure the hovercraft is Shortround
Do animated next in this format 😈
Hey, you forgot about the original Starscream.
I don't care for the disrespect you gave Brushguard. There was no reasn for that, what did he ever do to you?
Quickmix is my childhood figure.
I say do the 07 movie line next. Somebody should do something like this for Star Trek ships.
Live in Florida? Wanna hang out sometime? Maybe go to Busch Gardens? We can talk about Cybertron and Landmine's twister abilities. You should see my Transformers collection. Lol.
So was I somehow not paying attention or did he never mention the original voyager Starscream?
Wasn't a Cybertron release, Takara only.
@@TJOmega Well that sucks, or rather must have sucked at the time. I hate it when toys of major show characters don't get released over here.
Oh yes. I have that Soundwave, and as cool as it looks, its legs downgrade it to near garbage status.
Do this for Transformers prime, RID 2015, and or Rescue bots
This is pretty cool. If you haven't done it already, you should take a stab at Animated.
These were my fave vids excellent
How about Prime next?
No Sky Shadow? 😢
YES!
Next do the tf universe toyline
beast wars
Jetfire's rhymed
