' and in that second he sings 'do you have any idea how lucky you are to be around? ' and even though he doesn't know me. Or hear me I say 'yes. I'm so lucky and I'm happy I'm here.' It's ok to feel terrible. Just remember that life can get so much better. Just help it make that path.

I hurt someone close to me a lot, and I want them back but they’re scared of getting hurt again. I honestly can’t blame them. They deserved the world and I gave them less than that. I see where you're coming from. For however long you've been clean for doesn't matter, as long as you're not actively harming yourself, then its good. It's not easy staying clean, as it says in the song. But you stay clean anyways. You push past the difficulty and you stay clean. In my opinion, that's something to be proud of.
