I think I want to be there all the time except for short trips back home to the US. I would have to meet the Mexico financial requirements by buying a house instead of renting.
Hi Alexander, Wishing you a full recovery of health, I tell you that we can't wait to get to know Merida and enjoy your Airbnb. If you have a minute let me know some restaurants that you can recommend to me, with dancing included at night. Good luck.
Thank you so much, and I'm glad to be back to full-health. So La Negrita has a good atmosphere for music. Eladio's (right around the corner from the house) has live music most days in the afternoon and evening, and it makes for a really EASY day on the wallet. Order drinks, and you'll get some appetizers. The longer you stay and the more your order, the better those snacks get. Origen (just two houses east) is hit-and-miss, but they'll have some live music and local bands. A good rooftop bar is Kioyu, inside the Courtyard Marriott. Places I haven't visited but have heard about are also, Mayan Pub, Dzalbay, and Mezcaleria La Fundacion.
Thank you Alex for sharing the information and your time, we do appreciate. We will enjoy our stay in your Airbnb as much is possible and definitely we will provide you with our comments after our visit. Thank you again.
Thank you Alex! This was very valuable. We have a similar story & goal(s) and are in the middle of the building process in Centro. We'll sure to watch the rest of your content.
Super informative! Its so true that quallity contacts (RE agent and a builder/architect) will make the process so much easier. Rest well and hope your feeling 100% or close to it. Strangely i wasnt notified this video came out by YT. TH-cam can be weird like that sometimes. Hoping you can do a video on the breakdown of costs to build your rental. Im looking to do some development (build 1 or 2 airbnb's) in either PV or Merida (probably Merida). Great vid with great tips! Thank u!!!
Thank you, and I'm absolutely going to do that video. I've been trying to get it done for a couple of months - the health issue kind of stopped it, as well as just some of the additional things we've added that we were waiting on the finally accounting for. Can't wait to hear about your plans!
There’s an appeal and exclusivity people feel when a agent tells them he has an unadvertised listing. If you have a great agent. Which obviously you do, it can be a plus.
Weird comment. They planned on a few months a year in Merida and renting out their place when not there. They appear to be doing exactly that. How is that "would not last"?
Is your plan to rent your home in Merida, or live there all the time?

Good to see you back, hope that you are feeling good as new soon.
Thank you so much, Lynne! Definitely feeling better now, and really appreciate your comment.
