@ thank you for having me! I also do photography so I’m taking all the tips I can get! The one I really like the most is just about carrying my camera with me at all times. I sometimes just don’t go grab it when I leave my house. Lol.
@ Yes, that is a very underrated advice! But I also understand that it is not as easy as it sounds haha it can easily feel like a burden. But just casually taking photos daily can do a lot for you! It can lower the bar for photowalks because sometimes it can feel like a big task. Happy shooting!
For the editing part, for a long time I was thinking that editing my pictures too much would be cheating. But this has completely changed when I read/heard that the process of taking and editing a photo as an art (in opposition to journalism), wasn't to show the reality of a scene, but how the photographer see and feel the scene. And that blaming a photographer for editing was like blaming a painter for the way he painted his frame.
@@pncolson I completely agree! I first started that way too, thinking that editing photos is wrong. But now I enjoy editing photos almost as much as taking photos. I want to view photos more as a form of art
Very cool! As usual! Would you recommend some gallery or exhibition center for photo exhibition in Seoul? Also, what service do you use to print? I use photopia, but they are expensive and quality often varies.
@@pncolson Thank you so much for returning! I saw the Pulitzer photo exhibition at 예술의전당 and Maria Svarbova at Ground Seoul. I recommend both! I used to live in Bundang so I went to 야탑포토. I recommend them for prints. Much better than some other places I’ve been to.
@@pncolson No worries haha I usually want to check the product in person because these days there are a lot of scammers on 중고나라. So I use 당근마켓 and 번개장터. 번개장터 has a scam-proof system so I trust them a bit more!
@@AlexKimPhoto cool! I will check. For vintage lens I check Kasan Camera time to time but man, their price are high. But of what they sell is as shown on the pictures, they seems to really have high quality products.
@@pncolson yes, i go to camera shops only to just look around for fun. They are much more expensive than the secondhand market. I think the only advantage they have is that some of them offer warranties.
very inspirational video. Thank You!

You're making pictures of people in Korea. Is it safe from the legal perspective?
