It is Analogue camera and IP camera dude .....HD means high definition ....and it is available in both segments 😀. The difference is in their working principle.... analogue cameras send signal in the form of electrical pulses but ip cameras will send data's in the form of binary codes.....in analogue cameras there is a chance for data loss because of wiring means resistance but in ip system we don't need to worry about it .

Facing a CCTV related issue for long. Maybe you can help. I got an 8 port DVR. Port 4 video goes away and comes back continuously. If I remove any camera from port 1, port 2, port 3, then port 4 video gets stable. I tried replacing SMPS, DVR BNC ports.
Now, under warranty the DVR was replaced - Manufacturer replaced the DVR and in new DVR the issue was seen on Port 1 and Port 5 together.
After this, I bought a new DVR and the problem is seen on port 5 now.
I tried replacing BNC heads near DVR and a few of the cameras.
I am tried replacing SMPS and DVR power adapter.
Not sure how to proceed now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mene ghar pe 4 saal pehle CCTV camera lagaye the 2 MP ke .. lekin abhi DVR kharab ho gaya hain toh mujhe naya HD quality DVR lagane hain jisse
1) mere purane camera bhi chale
2) aur Future main HD 4MP bhi laga saku .. aisa koi option bata sakte ho HD DVR main ?

Cat6 & wirles is just a medium to coneect..
Pls try to do such type of conectivity test in Your Lab..
It is possible. In your smart TV you will need to install an app that can process the signal (packets) from the IP camera and render it to the screen. For creating such an app, you will need to know the protocol that the IP camera uses to send the data and its encoding. RTSP is such a protocol.
Edit: Such apps are already available. Search for 'IP Camera viewer'.

I've a few doubts
1. If I install an analog CCTV, that means the cable should be coaxial not cat6 cables?
2. If I use a IP CCTV, it is not nessary for a NVR. Instead I can use a software install to a PC & use that?
