❤ I was stuck in the dilemma of saving up for my dream sports car but my family grew and needed a SUV and i could only narrow it down to 1 car.... and i can tell you as a carfreak hands down theres no other vehicle on the market that can check so many boxes without compromising any.... My SUV has a stage 1 tune.. and this SUV is absolutely demonic 😈😈.... the experience of driving it is like no other... 7 passengers faster than 95% of cars on the road... and gooosh!!! Its violent on the gas... the sound of this 5.5 twin turbo is absolutely unapologetic on downshifts, it sounds brutal and exotic like a lambo baffles on the downshifts.... it never fails to put a smile on my face every time i drive it.... its like driving a exotic car for a fraccion of the price adding all the convenience, reliability so far 80k miles no issues at all
How long have you had it, and how's it been since? I'm eyeing a used 2017 63 with 80k miles. Clean carfax with e owners. Never owned a MB. I'm nervous it'll Abe a repair nightmare and I'll regret. But she us a beast. So confused. Lol Also, it sounds amazing, but can it be put on quiet mode for long rides?
@@Phenom305 just under 75k miles Mine is also 2017, things to watch out for are failed engine mounts if it's been abused these go out fast because the engine has so much torque and braking fast... the engine is extremely quite, the valves open on sport plus mode and even then it doesn't drone at all... it's more of a glorious baffling.... just dont mess with exhaust or resonators... leave the car alone.... stage 1 will get you the most out of the car.... stage 2 with downpipes really opens up the performance experience.... repairs I don't think this car will get you into repairs soon enough... maintenance yes it is a German vehicle, it's a performance vehicle, and it's a luxury vehicle so you can expect very high maintenance cost, but everything is relative any type of maintenance your talking thousands, it's a gas juggler!!!, to me it's worth every penny....but then again my passive income pays for it all not my salary!!!,, if this car represents a liability from your paycheck..... I wouldn't touch it with a 12 foot pole.....I have a clean record and to insure it was a nightmare... statefarm couldn't even find it in their system and when they created a vin number and specs on the vehicle they didn't want to insure it because it was so expensive.... luckily I had a great record and couple more cars under my policy and I reported it was a recreational vehicle not a daily driver and they insured it for a whooping 289 dollars a month on a perfect record.... otherwise you have to go thru a exotic broker insurance... and expect to pay between 250 and 600 dollars a month of insurance, and realistically more like 350 a month... the cheapest option to insure involves a tracking device that keeps track of your driving habits and speeding that defeats the purpose of a sport suv!....but my takeaways are theese.... for the price theres no better SUV that can provide that kind of performance luxury and convenience.... the sound of that 5.5 biturbo is a match up to any exotic car... and the experience is for up to 7 passengers while still being faster than 90% of people on the road.
@Pochitoo interesting.. so the plan was to get the pre-owned gls63 and use it as the daily driver for about 2 years or so to save on our current payment. a Then get what I really want which is a new X7 M60i. Since there isn't a real M version besides the alpina. I wonder if the m60i is just as expensive as the gls63?? Perhaps I should just get a regular gls 450 or 550 to be able to actually save for the m60i. This is a mission. Lol

Great video! Very thorough and helpful. You present in an eloquent and detailed manner. Keep going!
My favorite SUV 😍🔥
Excellent review man. Good job
How long can this engine run without any problem.
Not sure, haven’t heard any problems out of this one in particular.
Now!! This is a only used SUV to afford it!
Can you do the Volkswagen Atlas and atlas cross sport
Will try to get hands on them.
That’s good because the driver seat is for a 6’3 like you which is 11% men is that tall so is big space
No massage seats?💺
Messaged your dealer. I’d like to buy.
Great, I believe it’s still available.
Did you buy it?
Favorite SUV ❤
most likely has a cracked intake manifold.
New Gls is ugly as hell. Man I'll always love this Gls.
