Walking tour of Kalakaua avenue, waikiki, hawaii part1

Part 1 of my walk around Kalakaua Avenue in waikiki, Honolulu Hawaii. Kalakaua is the street that runs right beside waikiki beach, and it's lined with shops and its an area where a lot of tourists hang out.
It has a lot of stores and expensive shopping areas, but it's a fun place to walk around and see. There's also night market area with cheaper souvenir trinkets that we'll walk through in this video.

Thanks for the great video and natural sounds. too many guys put techno music and wrecks the feeling. Like I asked on someone else's video, how do you manage to walk down Kalakaua without getting accosted by those beauty parlor sales girls? Drove my wife and I nuts saying 'no thanks'. as well my wife mentioned not too many people are smiling there, whereas we had a constant "we are finally in Hawaii" grin... ;-)

Why would you take is down this street and not turn the camera around so we can see the Moana Surf Rider hotel - one of the most beautiful and historic buildings in Hawaii?? It beats me. Do you not know it's there??? Instead we follow two fat tourists into a cheap mall. Infuriating.
