Don't mean to be a dick, but he basically just traced from the original Mob Psycho 100's Opening just changing slightly the designs of the characters and the backgrounds to fit the Smash universe That's not being an animator, that's tracing and would most likely get you blacklisted by every animation studio on the planet You can compliment his re-designs or some of the background drawings he made, but the animation is still by studio Bones' Yoshimichi Kameda (and director Yuzuru Tachikawa for the storyboards)

Kirby is the most popular smash character in polls, he is also canonically the most powerful nintendo character so it makes a lot of sense. Though ness would've also been a good candidate for Mob.

This is so good and chock full of in-game references. The villain silhouettes was really cool, especially the triforce of power in the back. I lost my shit at ness and sans. The whole thing is fantastic.
