Thank you for this wonderful video! It is super detailed and I'm going to use it every time I need help stringing my dolls! Thanks again! And keep up the good work! 🎉🎉😊
for years i've been telling people to use their hemostats more - for weighing hems, for turning doll limbs or tubes (like belts), for pulling needles, and for stuffing toys, but i never thought to use them while stringing! that looks SO much easier than using a chopstick to hold the loop!
Love your tutorial! Makes it look a lot easier. I was wondering where you got those silicone discs? I only see hot glue sueding but never seen those discs.
Hi! Thanks so much for watching my video. Volks have these on their shop and they call it KIPS. to si sure if it's available in Volks USA. I usually buy silicone kips in taobao :)
Excellent tutorial. I think I can do it now but... where to find those 'hooks' to pull the string in? I have the one very long handled one but it will not go through or it will not come out of a small torso hole. Thanks in advance.
I'm not confident in attempting this, but I may give it a try since the strings on the doll this company sent me are extremely loose. Is there a particular brand of tools that's better?
Informative❤ The process does looks manageable enough but then again it doesn't. I still feel intimidated by the whole thing. Btw, where'd you get all those hooks?
It's normal to get intimidated by the process. Even I do this often, I still get intimidated too. Esp, if the doll is new to me. Not all dolls have the same jointing system and design. The hooks are already on the doll hands and feet. Every doll that came from the doll companies strung or already assembled, there's a hook included on it. If you need s-hooks, you can buy it from any doll companies like LUTS, Volks, Dollmore etc... they should have it available for sale on their tools page. :) Thank you so much for your comment!
As I'm new to the bjd world, and need to restring one I just got, you make this look hella easy.
thanks! I hope this helps :)

sometimes I use thin shoelace or ribbon if it's a tight spot. :)
Aliexpress too
What should I do if after I stringed it it's joints keep moving/ popping back into a different position
use the silicone discs :) it's wildly available in BJD online shops

какой смолой вы печатали? и какой размер у куклы?
My doll is strung, but I think I need to tighten it somehow because her joints are loose, do you have any tips? Or do I need to restring? Thanks!
Do you have to use kips ?
sometimes if it's really needed
Where do I buy the hooks and the foreceps?
oh I got it from a chemist/pharmacist store... it's a medical device
Aliexpress has the hooks
Aohelpful thank you 🙏🏼
How to tell what length the string needs to be?
if it feels loose. or if you pull the legs or arms too easy ooorr if the doll couldn't hold any pose or stand
How are you supposed to do it if you dont have the tools or dowls
Hi Thanks for watching! I'm planning to do a video with alternative tools if you don't have the tools I stated above. :)
