Nice way to wake up on a Sunday morning. Was the Echuca line closed for any particular reason, or was it just undergoing some normal maintenance?
Well, its light out now so back to cutting firewood. 😁
The line to Echuca from Toolamba is currently booked out of use. It requires work to bring it up to standard. 👍😀

Another great ride, thanks for sharing. I did the N class service a couple of months before they were replaced with the Vlocity. Was a great day outing.

No, I don't drive steam locomotives, only diesel locomotives and railcars 👍😀
Great trip as always. The loop at Mooroopna didn't have as many signals as I expected. I presume this line is controlled by CTC maybe from Seymour?
All the signals on the Shepparton line are controlled from Centrol in Melbourne apart from the signals at Seymour which still has a signalman. Seymour to Shepparton is still train orders for the moment but going to ATC. Mooroopna is having signals installed as is Toolamba. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😀

G'day,thanks for the ride, great country side and a very productive area of Victoria l remember when a lot of trains carried tin fruit from Shepp down to Melbourne and beyond most go's by road now around the Shepp station was very interesting back then, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
@@tomhenry6440 it's not closed. It's booked out of service and is still patrolled by vline. You will notice the brand new points that have just been installed at Toolamba to access the line. 👍😀

There are a lot of works going on at the moment in Wangaratta and Benalla. Seymour has the preservation centre. Enjoy your trip 👍😀
