Great videos Scott! I know you already sold this, but I was wondering if you have found out what the new owner is getting for mileage? Do they have a hybrid or eco boost?
I haven't heard from them, except for once, thanking me for how much fun they were having in it! They drove an older Toyota tacoma, so I would imagine their mpgs with it on are around 12-14 mpg or so. If you've seen my latest build on the topper for the Maverick, I average 32 mpg and it is awesome!!

Have you also considered building with other materials to save on the weight? I’m interested in one similar like this one, but with no tub built into the bed.
Yeah, I've considered other materials. I know foamies are popular. But for me, I really enjoy working with wood and this is how I've refined my process. For now it works, but who know what the future will bring!

What’s the chances you’ll build your next one to be 6’ and let it rest on the tailgate.
I am thinking about building a 6' mini camper, without a cabover though and designed for small trucks in general. I have built campers in the past that sit on the tailgate, and it's not an issue, I just like being able to close the tail gate, it also helps when towing a trailer. For the Maverick, this camper with cabover at 4 feet long on the base is about 450 pounds without gear. So, depending on your needs, you could build one out to 6' just fine, but I'm really trying to keep the weight down as much as possible and will probably keep it at 4' for the Maverick. Hope that makes sense!
Also, I need a shop! It's winter and too challenging to start a build quite yet. But as soon as I see an opening, I'm goin for it!

Are you going to make your plans available? You should 👍people would likely buy them if reasonably priced. I saw another guy offering plans for $30. That seemed reasonable, but it wasn’t a Maverick.
I've had people ask me about that, but I haven't taken the time to put that together. I've shared the design on my iPad in another video. For now, I'm happy to just share on TH-cam!

I like the ford maverick could you make another camper for the ford maverick but with the base of 4 feet and 5 inches do to the fact of the ford maverick bed being 4 feet and 6 inch’s
And if you can paint it with the color of the truck will also be nice to see tho to the fact that I want a similar setup and It will be lovely to see how it looks 👍🏻
That's awesome! I'm glad to hear your interest! Those are some good suggestions! I planned on going the full length just under 54", but in order to get the most out of the wood, I decided to stay with the 4' because that's the width of a sheet of plywood. I also made it so one full 8' long sheet would be the side walls without any extra joints. I think matching the paint is great! I chose white for my Maverick, so I'm already matching...haha! What color did you choose?
I have the white hybrid. Got the hybrid to use the Cab’s ac to cool my future camper thru the sliding rear window with a ryobi fan. Not sure if that will work but I’d like to be able to book dock and use the man’s engine and battery as my generator.
