Every day, innocent children are caught in the midst of war and conflict.
The poem “I Saw A Child” was commissioned as a response to the Syrian Civil War. Poet Bette Milleson James captured both the hope and hopelessness one feels when faced with the truth of the human cost of war.
A portion of the proceeds of this title support refugee resettlement services in the United States.

The story behind this song is also beautiful.
I am singing this song for my North Carolina honors chorus audition and it is truly a masterpiece and by far the most amazing piece of music I have ever learned, you can really feel the emotion in the lyrics and it truly a beautiful piece of music
