- His Holiness the Karmapa today delivered the last public teaching of his epic, two-month journey around the United States of America. The Karmapa resumed the topic of enacting compassion, drawing links from it to the topic that had been scheduled for this evening session, that of emptiness. The teaching formed the second session in a two-session event entitled “A Call to Compassionate Action,” organized by the Nalandabodhi community, headed by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, and translated by Mitra Tyler Dewar.

The Buddha always focused on trying to teach dependent origination as the heart of his teaching. Lama Tai Situpa Brings into focus that one needs to be able to perceive the interconnectedness of everything. Lucky in these times even quantum physics proves this to be true. It's just a matter of manifesting an innate knowledge of the fact, and compassion will arise. I was very lucky to meet this teacher in Spain many years ago and have a personal conversation with him. It was very insightful

so much hardship for His Holiness Karmapa to travel and I am thinking how simple an answer if His Holiness married an American girl his global travel wishes to benefit world would be fulfilled immediately, legally and easily to reach the world. ironic how simple yet seemingly impossible a solution to this particular aspiration of His Holiness. May all his aspiration fulfill swiftly. Bless His Holiness' loving Heart

Tibetan language is one of the languages I've always wanted to learn but had no opportunity. I had a strong feeling that it's similar to Korean. Some words I heard, such as brain is the same as Korean. Or I could have heard wrong. Regardless, Thank you for saying that the two languages are similar!!!
