I love Sylvanian Families! Here in the States, we have Calico Critters-- my daughters and I did a whole village of them. Please, please do the Jane Austen room you spoke of!
Hannah Hauxwell was an incredible woman unspoiled by the outside world, she lived off grid, often sleeping with her cows tor warmth in the harshest of winters, whilst maintaining a joyful life, there's a documentary on her life on TH-cam. Honestly really worth a watch.
Ah, I'm so glad I made it for a first viewing before the 24 hours are up!! I've been working non-stop, and saw the video had arrived this morning, but started work at 5 a.m. and only free to watch now (for the first time)... kindest regards, k
This was SO much fun… the metal sink is actually a fridge next to it, not oven, the top opens for the ice! It’s a really adorable piece. Was for “The Littles” This has been a great start to my day, I could comment and discuss every piece and be here all day!
I had the barbies and sindys too and just loved the outfits too. It's great that your rekindling my childhood too and yours. I had the same wooden Sylvarian dresser and I displayed the beautiful blue and white dinner set with it hehe ❤😊
I liked how the camera was pointing down on the box and you were on each side, made it easier to see everything. On this site, would it be possible to sell/trade the miniatures you don't need, to fund the items that you do need? I think it would be a win/win for you and your subscribers 🛋 I think the tiny white comb might be French Ivory (an early plastic made to resemble ivory).
Brass beds have been around since the beginning of the 19th Century. It was first patented in 1849 England and Birmingham became the center of production there. The beds were very popular, and so much so that the manufacturers could hardly keep up with the demand.
With all the beautiful pieces you have, you should see if you can find an old cupboard and make it in to an apartment house. With each shelf being an apartment.
Oh my word. Your so right. The tiny things are so appealing and delightful to us. How i adored the little vanity dressing table set. All complete with mirror, brush, comb and clothes brush. Pretty as a picture painted with its little roses. Perfect. Then my next favourite was the two black cast iron look alike pans. You got a great deal of delight from the boxes, which came across so well. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your buy. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do in the future with these items. hanks for sharing this lovely larking in a box with us. 😂 Its quite exciting to see what turns up next x
I love your laughter..and the delight of tiny things..oh my!! I was holding my breath with every piece..It's a wonderful thing to see and hear you come up with new ideas, knowing that we get to be there to watch you do it..I can't wait for your Mudmas videos! But I still say, your tiny mudlark finds and creations are just as gorgeous and fine as any of the bought ones..
Some wonderful items indeed, looks like the 1/16th furniture is a mixture of Lundby, Barton and possibly Dol toi. That little vanity set is exquisite. You’ll have fun doing a Christmas scene. A few TH-cam crafters and I just did a Christmas Tree collaboration/challenge on our channels, it was such fun. 😊
Ladies, I love watching your videos. For your segments at the worktable, could you please add a couple more lights from different angles. Sometimes it's hard to see the items because of the shadows. Really appreciate all the hard work you put into making these videos.❤
I started collecting a couple of years ago with the Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters. I have that Welsh cabinet. I remember seeing that metal bed on some photo, probably in Pinterest, and I looked everywhere, but didn't see one. I love the way the old, curated dollhouses look, but I love the little cats and bunnies. :)
Loads of things there wow what a bargain. Nice enjoy hugs 😊 I loved Slyvarian families too the furniture and the animals had so many sets my nieces played with them was great to see the Memories come back to life again ❤
Some lovely stuff in those boxes and the dressing table set is amazing. Lots of things for all your houses and clocks. The small things will be just great for the clocks. I have been waiting for another video from you two and thougherly enjoyed ever minuet. I am having trouble with my keyboard, things are coming out lots of times. I have corrected most of itt I think. Stay asafe and love to all the family and I can't wait for Mudmas.
the real brass bed is definitely early sylvanian families. it is rare and worth a bit of money. i was literally oooh and aaah-ing over here! have lots of fun with this mystery lot!!
Just wanted to drop by and say we miss y'all on both channels can't wait for more both channels are so relaxing and give much creative inspiration 😊Thanks
What fun!!! Thank you so m7ch for unboxing with us. I have a suggestion for you, an idea, really. For all your travel dolls and all your bathroom furniture that you have accumulated, what if you did a hotel? All your travel dolls could go to a resort or a dollhouse convention? Just an idea! Blessings 😊😊
Great to see you back Fleur, Kate. Certainly picked up some lovely little everyday objects, particularly liked the walking stick, umbrella and that beautiful blue ladies dressing table set. The Sylvania Families things reminded us of the sets we bought for our granddaughter some four years ago. Well made toys.
I love watching your videos. You have the kind of relationship that I always wish for with my own mother. It’s so lovely to hear how kind you are to each other. Thank you so much for doing this. ❤
I bet the green bathtub is from the 60’s when avocado green was popular.my grandmother had a heater just like that that she put in the opening of a very old fireplace to heat her front room that had been the parlor when the house was originally built. These things in the small box are really cute.
I love watching this channel. You ladies are experts in this hobby. I brought a doll house to put together, but I haven't done it. My granddaughter is coming this summer & we are going to put it together, I can hardly wait for her to come, we have so many plans including reborn babies. I think it will be highlight of my 60's, lol. Thank you for your wonderful channel.
What awesome items you have purchased, the mirror and comb was stunning. The tin fire places were amazing and the black cast iron pots were great.Thank you for sharing your unboxing it was awesome, not forgetting the pipe and shaving razors.
I think those smaller things are 1/24th scale. They are too tiny to be 1/16th. Im currently making a 1/12 scale Victorian Era "painted lady" house, and furnishing it.I love both of your channels. Im the patron of only 2 channels, and you guys are one of them. I use my real name on it, so youll have to gigure out which patron I am! Keep up the great work! You two inspire me so much!
What an awesome lot you picked up, love the old vanity set it’s stunning. I will definitely be watching what and where these things end up. Take care and thank you for sharing 👏🙏❤️
I would be in heaven. I’ve only built one Victorian house but as I’m disabled now I would love to know how to buy boxes for my house. Lovely. Love you guys!!
Just love all your ideas for future projects ❤ It’s so fun to see one item and suddenly have a flood of creativity! Thank you for sharing this with us all.
What a wonderful unboxing! I can't believe that tiny comb!! 😍 I am looking forward to seeing what you do with these new additions and the projects they inspire!
OMG, what a lot of gorgeous finds, I so love your unboxing, feels like Christmas, cant wait to see where you put them in, and so looking forward to your Christmas House, treasure houses.
The bed is Renwall 3/4 scale plastic, vintage 1950's piece. It should have a footboard, but sadly, it's missing. Still a great little bed! I love watching you unbox things, your excitement is contagious!!!
I had a collection of Maple Town toys that lived at my Great Grandma's house in Texas for me to play with when I visited. They were a hand-me-down or possibly just purchased second hand. (They're 1986 and I'm born in 1990) It had buildings and a couple vehicles and the beds and chairs all had that same fabric. They were stored in an older hardcase suitcase that always smelled musty, so I only kept a handful of animals. Now in my 30s I've actually been re-buying more things I remember having off of eBay. They're so cute.
Maple Town is actually different than Sylvanian families. It was animals in a town, but a different company. And a cartoon show. Patty Maple (a rabbit) was the main character. You can probably find episodes here on TH-cam.
You know how you have sherd stories on your other channel, you could do something like that here talking about the different companies that make the miniatures and their history.
The costume dressed doll I think is in Norwegian traditional dress. I remember my parents having the small doll when I was a young girl and them saying she was from Norway. I love all the furniture. ❤
Oh how fun this is! I love your enthusiasm for all things small, and look forward to your new projects. Such amazing finds and ideas! (Also I had one of those little yellow cookbooks! c1960s)
Lots of fun . Always love watching an unboxing. The delight and excitement you two ladies share is precious. Looking forward to your Christmas films. By the way, the last video you posted on your other channel said private, and i wasn't able to see it.
*As* I was writing the comment 'could you not just have a boxroom that's a bathroom, then any one of your dollshouses can have a bathroom' ; great minds clearly synced and you said about just making a bathroom!😮
You could do a music room in an old radio or record player. 😊
The doll was a Christmas tree fairy,we had one when i was growing up😍
That metal bed reminds me of my maternal grandmother’s brass bed. It was shiny and she kept it gleaming.
I love Sylvanian Families! Here in the States, we have Calico Critters-- my daughters and I did a whole village of them. Please, please do the Jane Austen room you spoke of!

Seconded... I remember it being televised... I was utterly fascinated for months!... am I correct that walkers literally found her on the moors??
NO ONE could believe she had sustained herself in that way of living for as long as she had!
Ah, I'm so glad I made it for a first viewing before the 24 hours are up!! I've been working non-stop, and saw the video had arrived this morning, but started work at 5 a.m. and only free to watch now (for the first time)... kindest regards, k
Your red and green seed beads would make a pretty garland for the Christmas tree
This was SO much fun… the metal sink is actually a fridge next to it, not oven, the top opens for the ice! It’s a really adorable piece. Was for “The Littles” This has been a great start to my day, I could comment and discuss every piece and be here all day!
I cannot believe all of the treasures you unbound for 13 pounds! Wow, what a deal.❤😊
😂Did you say "batting meat?"😂😂😂 I just adore you two!
Get one big box and make it into a Doll's Furnishings Store
The little die cast sink and oven was from a doll set called The Littles. I had them growing up in rhe early eighties.
I had the barbies and sindys too and just loved the outfits too. It's great that your rekindling my childhood too and yours. I had the same wooden Sylvarian dresser and I displayed the beautiful blue and white dinner set with it hehe ❤😊
All your little travel dolls could be staying on holiday in the suitcase hotel! Can't wait to see whatever you do. It'll be awesome!
it's wonderful all these random bits-n-pieces are being gathered from around the country into your home to complete tiny home furnishings.
Such great finds, you could putvthem in so many different styles of rooms. Can't wait to see what you do witt all of it...
I liked how the camera was pointing down on the box and you were on each side, made it easier to see everything. Wow! That box is like my wildest dream-come-true! I love miniatures so very much! Congratulations on a most wonderous box!!!

To me the mudlark finds are better
I have to admit, as much as I thoroughly enjoyed the unboxing, I did cringe at the thought of painting the beautiful brass bed.
Some wonderful items indeed, looks like the 1/16th furniture is a mixture of Lundby, Barton and possibly Dol toi. That little vanity set is exquisite. You’ll have fun doing a Christmas scene. Ope you send a photo in or make your own video.
Yes, I work in 1:18th and while some Lundby stuff can pass, 1:24th is way too small. You get an eye for these things.
fabulous finds! When I ended up with to many tubs and toilets I made one room a spa.
You should make a crafting room in one of your dolls house.
What an awesome lot you picked up, love the old vanity set it’s stunning. I will definitely be watching what and where these things end up. Take care and thank you for sharing 👏🙏❤️
That was lovely 😍 the vanity set, oh my! I was sweet on the green tub as well. Great buy. 🤗❤️🌈🙏🕊️

Fabulous unboxing, so exciting to watch! Hannah Hauxwell lived in Baldersdale which is the Teesdale/North Yorkshire area, she was quite a character.
Yes her life story is wonderful
The costume dressed doll I think is in Norwegian traditional dress. I remember my parents having the small doll when I was a young girl and them saying she was from Norway. I love all the furniture. ❤
I googled it and Norway did seem to be right, so good on yah.
