@SmoothSailing for the meniscus tear and ACL reconstruction…VA gave me the same low-ball 10% rating years ago, but I re-filed some time ago and actually got an additional 30% rating for the scarring on knees which are always tender to the touch with numbness that extends down foot…you should also be rated for instability which is 20%, so at minimum should be 50%…which is what I’m working towards at current…also since I’ve been dealing with this condition for twenty years, my left knee, left hip, lower back and feet have been taking the brunt of the pounding and stress and now always hurts too…in addition, this has led to severe depression for me as it adversely limits my daily functions in being able to play with my son and other activities…so consider the full spectrum of possibilities and not limit yourself to just the knee pain (which is the mistake I initially made)…God Speed 🙏🏽
I have a letter from my private doctor that my anxiety and migraines are caused from explosions and noise from my military service. Since I got his letter my Va doctor finally put me on migraine medicine.I'm being sent to other doctors .First ent doctor next a neurologist. I believe that I have to go on this merry go round.I feel that I must go where they send me or I will hurt my claim when I apply.
For anyone that needs to know how to add their kids without ssn. I have done this as I live in Japan. You have to provide them with birth certificates and a statement that explains why they don’t have a ssn. I.e. I live in xyz and ssn is not required. Super easy
How do I know whether to go after secondary to tiniitis of severe depression and those that follow? Versus Ptsd secondary to migraines. I worry about the second option because I’m a constable trying get my license to carry for work and off duty.
I filed for Sleep Apnea in 2018, and let it close out. I now have rating for PTSD, which form would I use; one to re-open or a (supplemental claim) I have a nexus letter connecting Sleep Apnea as a secondary to PTSD?
Hello ive got service connected tinnitus. Im trying to claim high blood pressure and obstructive sleep apnea which im currently getting treated for at the VA as my primary doctor. They have denied my claim. Im saying that because of my tinnitus it has caused me to have sleep apnea. And because of both tinnitus and sleep apnea it has casued me to have high blood pressure.
