This one sadly didnt do well which sort of confirms my decision to not do videos. It probably took me more hours to make the video than it got watched. I do have a few videos worth of raw footage if I someday can find the many hours it takes to make them into videos before they need to be deleted off my phone. You have seen mine shelf of paint taller than you :) I will probably use all the good colors if I have time and throw away the reds and oranges. I, too, don’t understand why you’re not selling. It IS a tough market out there but your style and technique are unusual, and the end results so stunning, I’m baffled by lack of sales. I’d certainly buy one or more if I didn’t have a bunch in my studio taking up space. 😂

Thanks Rhonda! I used to post in all the facebook groups for the last year. It didn't really help so I gave up on that. Barely even got any likes. Just like youtube it is mostly other artists looking to get techniques to inspire rather than selling. Craigslist is the place that people that are not into facebook to sell things :) I actually did sell a few through craigslist to the same couple so way more successful than facebook groups or my art page. I have painted a few paintings to use up my paints. I didn't video most though. Thanks for watching!

I’m sure you have thought of this but just in case - Are there craft fairs in your area? I will be displaying (and hopefully selling) my art in one at the end of this month, and I can let you know whether there appears to be a market for this kind of stuff at craft fairs. ❤
Thank you! I haven't found any fairs to sell. It is over 90 by may and into end of october so there isn't outdoor stuff. I know where I grew up that had a lot of that kind of stuff so maybe once I move out of this state I would have better luck with that kind of thing. Your work is so pretty! Have you been to local craft shows with your paintings? Donate some of them to nursing homes or to friends who will advertise for you. I make most of my money painting on trivets and coasters but I do sell paintings slowly. I get commission pieces sporadically. Do it because you love it, you’ll find a way to support your habit. It’s taken me 3 years to make enough to replenish supplies and make a few dollars.
