    Amazing content! I always find amazing how the Japanese became crazy-obsessed with the Mini in the late-80's

      Thanks! Yes, they pretty much kept the Mini alive in the 90's. Far more Mini's were sold in Japan than the UK. I have a Japanese Mini so I got hooked into them being hooked into the Mini :) There's far more maintenance and support for them in Japan, so many very good specialist garages.

      @@classicmininla Going to Japan to the Japan Mini Day and visit the many shops available is the dream trip and a JDM Rover Mini with A/C is the ultimate Mini for Brazil.

    This video was not made by Rover Japan as promotional material. This package was made by a Japanese motoring magazine, in English called LeVolant (this name is written in Japanese on the book and video cover). This video was Volume 4 in a series about specific car models.

      @@classicmininla Indeed, hard to tell. However, this does not make the video less collectible: it is still a special video. When searching online I saw that similar videos are being put up at auction sites. You also mentioned in your video that the English interviews were overdubbed. This is common practice in Japan, even today. They don't subtitle foreign languages but overdub the voices.

    Hello everyone, I've been following the cabal on you tube for about 2 years now, 4 years ago I had a problem with my 93 mini spi, it doesn't go above 2500 revolutions at any speed, I've changed everything.. vacuum tubes, fuel trap, checked control unit, changed delco, rotor, spark plugs, spark plug cables, crankshaft sensor etc..., could you help me? No mechanic here in Majorca (Spain) can find the problem, I'm even thinking about passing it to a carburetor in the future. Thanks in advance !!
