Actually the first triple threat match for the WWE in a non-televised capacity was January 7th, 1997 in the Toronto sky dome. I was there, it was between Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and Sid for the WWF championship.
That was January 31, 1997, not January 7th. The date in the video is wrong regardless because Triple H defended the IC title in a triple threat against Bret Hart & Steve Austin on January 10th of that year.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Cultaholic for keeping the videos coming. Going through a rough time in my life and Cultaholic is my family and safe place. Don’t know what I’d do without each and every one of you! Merry Christmas to all! 🙏🏼
What you said resonated with me. From experience I recommend speaking to friends and family - don't suffer in silence. Avoid drugs and alcohol - they will destroy your mental wellbeing. Exercise is great for managing stress and a gym membership or a leisure centre pass could help to re-motivate yourself
Bret's so multi-talented, he's also forklift certified as shown in the behind the scenes footage of WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game. He can wrestle, he can program, he can drive a forklift, we should all aspire to be like Bret.
Semi-related. Stone Cold has said that if he wasn't a pro wrestler, he'd probably have stayed as a forklift operator. He maintains that next to pro wrestling, there's nothing he isn't the best at besides that.
First money in the bank cash in will always hold free real estate in my memory, I love Edge and John Cena so it extra holds a special place in my heart
Chyna has a lot of firsts. First female entrant to Royal Rumble and King of the Ring. First woman to win the Intercontinental Championship and be number #1 contender for the World title. I think she was also the first woman to compete in an intergender match in WWE (not a mixed tag match where legally the men couldn't wrestle the women)
Definitely not. There were fans who did it and got ejected. There were wrestlers who did it on the sly, and only got caught after the fact. My dad was a freelance photographer for South Florida shows, during the Territory days. He told we about a time when Bruiser Brody gave a fan the finger, after being heckled by the fan. The fan in question was a little boy. The little boy responded by giving Brody the finger, which caused Brody to break character and belly laugh in the ring. I mentioned that story to Dory Jr and Terry Funk, while I was training at their school, in the late 90's and early 2000's. They both laughed and said, "Yeah, that sounds like Brody."
iirc Earthquake *almost* went through a table during his 1990 match vs Hogan (summerslam?) the table somehow didnt break great content as usual and thanks for the upload!👍
The funny thing with the Chyna entry (behave) is that it's wrong on two counts. Firstly, Alundra Blaze vs Bertha Faye was the first female main event on Raw on October 3rd, 1995 (though they had an interview section after so it _technically_ didn't close the show) and, secondly, Chyna herself main evented Raw prior to that. You even say how she "was the first female entrant into a WWE Royal Rumble" and she only got that by winning the Corporate Rumble on January 11th, 1999 which also main evented. (Admittedly had to check the exact dates but both pre-date "the August 9th, 1999 episode of Raw" obviously)
Great stuff! But a couple of these boil down to “WWE did it first, except when it was done first by another smaller promotion”. But that’s just my grumpy Xmas man-flu. Season’s greetings! Vinny x
Now I'm really hoping that that so-called main event was the last on the current live and not some pre-recording to make it look like it was the main event.
So that was NOT Chyna’s first time main eventing a Raw. On January 11, 1999 on Raw in the main event Chyna won the DX and Corporation Royal Rumble. The winner of that rumble will be number 30.
Fun fact: The fans at SummerSlam 1991 (I was one of them, it was my first live show I ever went to) had no idea what was happening with The Mountie after he was led out of the arena. I didn't see it until I watched my cousin's VHS tape of it a few days later. I heard later on that The Mountie improvised it, the officers involved didn't have a lot of information as to how the thing was going to do down so they would handle it like any other inmate. That whole scene was done at the legendary "Tombs", the basement holding cells of the NYC Courthouse at 100 Centre Street. I used to handle medical emergencies there as an EMT back in 2005-2009. Rumor had it they wanted to use Riker's Island, but the Corrections Department said no (probably good that they did since Riker's was and still is hell on earth).
5:00 technically I will probably have the correct them on that it was maybe WrestleMania 10 after Little Richard's song America the beautiful. The pyrotechnics went off before the introduction of Owen Hart vs Bret Hart.
After that tryout RR, the first few Royal Rumbles were just for bragging rights. The first RR the winner of which got a shot at the title at WM was in 1993.
What is Bret Hart and Michael Shawn’s real name? If Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle are the first two wrestlers to use their real name at a Wrestle-mania main event?
So that was NOT Chyna’s first time main eventing a Raw. On January 11, 1999 on Raw in the main event Chyna won the DX and Corporation Royal Rumble. The winner of that rumble will be number 30.
As always, thank you for the continued respect this channel shows Chyna.
Bret "First Man" Hart

Chyna also won the Corporate Rumble which main evented Raw prior to the 1999 Royal Rumble.
I just wrote that. Lol happened on January 11 1999
Hart truly was a master technician and innovator

The first women to compete in the main event of raw was Alundra Blaze and Bertha Faye for the women's title in 1995
Wasn’t the Corporate Rumble the Main Event too?
Yes
Yep came here to say this, I guess they don't count that because it was during the New Generation era.
@@miracle_ftwThat means that it wasn't the main event.
Bret's so multi-talented, he's also forklift certified as shown in the behind the scenes footage of WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game. He can wrestle, he can program, he can drive a forklift, we should all aspire to be like Bret.
He also has great color coordination.
Semi-related. Stone Cold has said that if he wasn't a pro wrestler, he'd probably have stayed as a forklift operator. He maintains that next to pro wrestling, there's nothing he isn't the best at besides that.
also bonus points for still hating Bill
Austin has operated:
A forklift
A crane
A cement truck
A zamboni
A beer truck
A monster truck
He can also draw
It's the Hitman, are we surprised? The man is a Trailblazer.
Chyna was the ultimate groundbreaker for me during the Attitude Era. RIP Chyna 😢💔🕊️🌹🙏🏼.
First money in the bank cash in will always hold free real estate in my memory, I love Edge and John Cena so it extra holds a special place in my heart
I was about 9 when that happened and remember it making absolutely despise Edge for about a decade.
@OG_Stemcell they did it right then haha
Here’s another Royal Rumble fun fact, the only people to ever win it from the #2 entry spot have been Vince McMahon (1999) and Rey Mysterio (2006).
And the only men to win from the #1 spot are Shawn Michaels and Chr...
and Hardcore Holly.
The Mountie: You want the finger? There's the finger! 🖕
3:57 his real name is “The Rock” so that’s not true
Yeah, I hope someone got fired for that.
Stone Cold real name is, Steve Anderson. So that doesn’t count.
@@YXNG-SEV3N Steve Williams but yeah.
Yes 🙌🏾 Bret featured heavy in this video!!!
John Cena about to bump everyone on this list down one when he wins number 17

So Bret hart really is the best there was
I think that sign saying "I paid to see Dana Brooke" was a first too
Not only the first but I’m pretty sure that only one to have a sign for her lol
I remember an NXT show where somebody brought a sign that said "DANA BROOKE IS LITERALLY THE WORST", so that's something.
At 7:08, I guess Kevin Nash wasn’t the first guy to flip the bird on WWE TV. LOL
Definitely not. There were fans who did it and got ejected. There were wrestlers who did it on the sly, and only got caught after the fact. Who knew Jacques rougeau was an innovator
Love the 3D style graphics here
Bret and Shawn really lead the way from having all over the top characters to where we are now
Bull Nakano and Dump Matsumoto was flipping off the fans when they wrestled in the WWE in 1986.
I've heard this as well. Does any footage exist?
iirc Earthquake *almost* went through a table during his 1990 match vs Hogan (summerslam?) the table somehow didnt break
great content as usual and thanks for the upload!👍
The respect you give Chyna is awesome! She deserves the HOF damn near more than anyone!
Bret Hart. The Best There Is, The Best There Was, And The Best There Ever Will Be... at being first.

Alundra Blayze and Bertha Faye Were The First Woman To Main Event Raw In 1995
Now I'm really hoping that that so-called main event was the last on the current live and not some pre-recording to make it look like it was the main event.

WWE acknowledged that the first ladder match was with Bret releasing a DVD to go with it. The match is also on TH-cam for viewing as well.
So if you wanted to try a new type of match, you called either Shawn or Brett.
5:00 technically I will probably have the correct them on that it was maybe WrestleMania 10 after Little Richard's song America the beautiful. The pyrotechnics went off before the introduction of Owen Hart vs Bret Hart.
3:41 you're telling me The Undertaker isn't his real name?
Bret is a legend
I know it’s not the first but I only acknowledge the sparkler “SID” as the first and most iconic WWF firework display.
I think you meant The FABULOUS Rougeau Brothers
2:20 Ken can’t make Billy “Bad Ass” Gunn tap out outside of the ring lol
Batista is the first and the only person (as of 2024) to win the Royal Rumble twice from the same number entrant (28).
After that tryout RR, the first few Royal Rumbles were just for bragging rights. The first RR the winner of which got a shot at the title at WM was in 1993.
Never noticed the tap out only been around only since '96. Started watching in '99
Damn
Everything has Canada involved
The First There Is
The First There Was
The First There Ever Will Be
Bret single handedly carried the WWF (WWE) like a brown paper bag lunch from about '92/'93 to '97/'98 in between Hogan and Stone Cold.
The Excellence of Innovation
WWE never said that the Razor-Shawn ladder match was the first ever, they said it was the first time ever on PPV.
What is Bret Hart and Michael Shawn’s real name? If Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle are the first two wrestlers to use their real name at a Wrestle-mania main event?
Michael Shawn Hickenbottom
Undertakers first return of many should be on here
Rhea Ripley facing Hunter in the thumbnail
Bertha faye vs alundra blayze came before chyna
The revisionist history thing is from fans. They don't claim the first ladder match was that at mania. They say it was the first one in mania history
I'm surprised you didn't bring up the first ever undisputed title win that also went to warrior vs hogan.
They let the Rougeaus wrestler for an hour and didn't let us see it on TV? Dammit!
I still have pictures of the rockers Rougeaus iron man match in Chicago
Damn, I bet those Rockers vs Rougeaus iron man matches were good!!!
i was waiting for you to tell us Bret had somehow competed in the punjabi prison match first
#1 JBL Shooting on the Blue Meanie at One Night Stand
I miss Chyna. She will always be one of the most important people in world history ❤❤❤
Bret Hart was also the first time first time record holder.
I love the royal rumble match.
09:14 Now tell the people what happened to Mr. Harley Race after doing this spot.
Wait wait wait, you're telling me The Undertaker isn't that big guys real name?!?! Mind blown
whats with John Cena against Lesnar or Cena vs Orton? well i guess they werent in the main Event.
Bring back the 3 arm drops for submissions
#3...Bret went through the table on his side and Harley didn't go through his. Just belly flopped onto it.
"You can't do THIS!! I Am The MounTie!!
4:58 actually it was wrestlemania 10
Damn you kind of beat me to it lol
Rick Rude first to appear on both Nitro & Raw on the same night
Cool
Angle only had one 'mania main event? They were so high on the guy (between his Olympic background and his tenacity), but *one*?? Jesus...
You’re telling me his real name isn’t The Undertaker??
Yurrrrrrr
Bret Hart ❤❤
That real name one- Randy and Cena never main evented WM? Or r those not their real names?
It sucks the rockers never won the tag team titles
