Okay, can we just take a moment appreciate this game room. First off, the guy buys games that he genuinely wants to play or try out, which is much better than alot of game “collectors” that don’t even play half their games. Personally, I prefer smaller game rooms cause everything is way more organized and less cluttered. Got alot of respect for you just because of your mindset
Thanks for the appreciation! I've never really understood the mentality of people who buy games and don't even have the intention of playing them. I mean sure they make a nice display, but that's not what it's about, it's about playing them. I tend to prefer smaller game rooms too because they're more personal and less about the number of games you have. :)
Love the framing you did for your posters, inspiring :) Also when you had your xbox as a dvd player... I couldn't help but laugh as the internet thinks it's the most supreme console out there.
Oh boy, if you liked these framed posters just wait until you see my new upcoming game room tour! The posters look far better in my new setup! Haha, the sad thing is that now it isn’t even used as a DVD player. It’s just unplugged and used more as a display piece than anything else! 😂
Thanks! I'm glad you like the room (and the rug). I've actually recently moved out of this house though and set up a new game room, so I'll be doing a brand new tour video at some point soon :)
That's awesome, I always like to look at other game room tours for inspiration too! I'll be doing a brand new game room tour video soon, it's massively upgraded since this one! I'm just putting some finishing touches on it and then it'll be ready to be filmed! :D
A very cool collection and game room! It's good that you collect for what you are only passionate about, exactly how I am too. Just subscribed to you too, look forward to seeing more of your videos
Thanks! Yeah, I don't really feel the need to collect whole sets of games or anything like that, because then I would just have a collection full of games I don't even like! Thanks for subscribing! I'm trying to release videos more frequently, so there should be something new here soon.
Thanks! I actually moved out of this house recently, but wait until you see the new game room tour (I’ll be filming it in the new year) I think it’s even better than this one! 🙂
I got the billy cases in white ... oh that dust oh that dust. @_@ haha great video man! I hope to do a game room tour as well soon however still need some work I recently moved.
Haha, tell me about it! I've got quite a few of the white ones throughout my house and they attract a lot of dust for some reason! Thanks! When you do a tour let me know and I'll check it out.
“I’m not a game collector. I just so happen to collect games I play.” What a weird concept huh? I’ve watched many game room tours and most of these people don’t play more than half of their collection. I mean, how can they when they’re constantly scouring eBay, Craigslist, flea markets and garage sales for the best deals on games.
Yeah, that's why I don't consider myself to be a game collector, despite having a game collection, which probably doesn't make much sense. I only seek out the games that I actually want to play, if it's just going to sit there doing nothing, then what's the point really? I guess the logic would be that it's about creating a display, but I feel like my display looks half decent and plus it actually means something because I've had experiences with all the stuff on there. Not that I've got anything against game collectors or anything, it's just not for me personally haha!
Pixel Pursuit Yes these overstocked game rooms makes me jealous but I’ll also realize it’ll just be an overwhelming regret not being able to play many of them. Not to mention time and money dedicated to collecting such a massive collection. The only reason I can find justify on doing so if in 5 years, it becomes 100% digital and you no longer own the games you buy. And you boycott such practice and won’t give in. Then you’ll need 3 lifetimes to play them all. 😂
Yeah they always look really impressive, but at the same time it's sort of impersonal because there's no way these collectors have played half of the games they own. Yeah for sure, game collecting is becoming really expensive now, even common PS1 games are beginning to become fairly expensive now! Man, I really hope the future of games isn't all digital. I would hate that, I always buy physical games when I can, plus the advantages of physical ownership are great, having the case to display, sometimes getting the extras that come with the games, being able to lend them and trade them in (although I never do trade ins myself). I feel like publishers would make games more expensive if everything went digital too because you wouldn't even be able to buy pre-owned. Not to mention if they decide to take games off of digital stores and then they practically don't exist. None of that is anything that I want haha!
@Mau Pr I actually agree with you. Having digital games doesn’t motivate me enough to play or finish the game. Having a physical media makes it a bit special because you actually have something physical in your hand. You’ll want to be excited on playing them. Secondly, I have tons of under $1 digital on my Switch that I’ve barely touched. They were so cheap I was like why not? It also gives these devs the opportunity to churn out crap. Why put a cheap mobile game in physical form when you don’t have enough confidence it’ll sell because how good the game is? Don’t get me wrong. There are tons of gems that’ll only see a digital release. But they’re not as many as many people think.
Yeah, I don't actually own a SNES or any SNES games and my NES and N64 collection leaves a lot to be desired haha. I also don't own a single Sega console! My PlayStation collection is pretty damn big though, I would say that's the main thing I collect generally. I only really buy games I know I'm going to play, so I'm not really a collector, I just happen to have a lot of games because I've played a lot of them! Also, I've done a more recent Game Room Tour that shows a bit of my updated game collection, it's gotten a bit bigger since this video!
Nice! I'm not well versed in the Genesis, but with the NES I would recommend Bionic Commando if you've never played that before. It's cheap and it's a very under appreciated hidden gem.
It's taken a very long time for me to build up this collection. The vast majority of the PS1 and 2 games are the original ones from when I was a kid, so I've pretty much been building up this collection for my whole life almost haha (I'm 26)!
Badass tour dude! Thank you for sharing this. Idky but I feel like we are best friends 😂 I love the PS1, so many great games! Do you like turn-based rpg type games? If so you should check out Monster Seed for PS1! It's not well known, and the writing is terrible, but the art direction and gameplay are incredible! It's a must play PS1 game, in my opinion! Really cool game room! It makes me sad that I didn't take better care of and save all my gaming stuff from my childhood! But it's cool to see other people's stuff! Thanks for the cool video, dude! 😁👍
Thanks! Haha, I just looked at your channel and it seems like we both like Sekiro too! The PS1 is for sure my favourite console! I do like turn-based RPGs, but I've not played too many (I've never even played a Final Fantasy game) and a lot of them seem quite samey. Breath of Fire III is probably my favourite. I've never heard of Monster Seed so I'll look into that! I also got rid of quite a few games from my childhood, but luckily I kept most of it, otherwise my collection would be nowhere near this big! Thank you for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Nah, I've hardly ever rollerbladed in my life, I'm pretty rubbish at it to be honest. I know practically nothing about it either so I definitely didn't do a video on any tricks! Must just be someone that looks like me, weird though!
I'm actually not too sure. I always wanted one (primarily to play PS1 games on the go), but I think the lack of first party support from Sony put me off of getting one. It's good for indie games too, but now the Switch is out the Vita just feels a bit irrelevant.
Cool collection. For gameboy advance games you can use gameboy DS cases that have the slot for them at top inside. To get covers for them you can go to the CoverProject.com they are free
That's a good idea! I've seen that some people use those cases for their GBA games in other room tours. The only thing with that though is that I still wouldn't have a place for my Game Boy and Color games. I've seen someone use a make-up display thing for their Game Boy games and that actually worked really well, so I might end up getting something like that for them. Still, thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into that for my GBA games!

Make sure you get a dynaflat or tru flat CRT tv. I have 2 Samsung ones and they are great!
Just had a look at them, they look good but they seem difficult to get hold of in the UK!
Game room is awesome but where did you get that shirt
Haha, everyone loves the shirt! I got it from a shop called HMV in the UK. It wasn't too long ago either so they probably still sell it!
