I slagged benidorm off for years and then ended up going on a 40th there . Best thing that ever happened to me as it’s a nice decent place for any age and super reasonable priced . Been 5 times with the e wife now and we both love it there . We flew back from kosovo last night how diverse lol
If you fancy something a bit different, there is an absolutely amazing Spanish restaurant half way up poniente beach on the seafront called Daivel. It’s run by a guy called Evo and his Mrs Ellie…. We went last September and he treated us like kings, slim cut ham, Russian salad, steaks part cooked in the back then finished cooking on your table on a gas stove with potatoes etc. absolutely food to die for and incredible hosts. You’d never notice it even if you wandered by but trust me, it is amazing and the guys that run it cannot do enough for you. They deffo deserve a visit Lee.
From Alicante airport I would take a local bus into Alicante itself as its an interesting town which a lot of tourists miss out on. From there you can take the train up to Benidorm.
I really enjoy the flight vlogs. If you are after somewhere different I can recommend Malta. They all speak excellent English, the food is brilliant and there is tons of history
My way of getting to Benidorm from Alicante (to meet my friends already in Beni - in my younger days) was....hanging around the bus stop at Alicante airport, get talking to a middle aged hairdresser from Leeds who had her own apartment in Alicante, getting persuaded to get the bus, and have a few drinks in Alicante with her...and then...leaving her, and getting the bus from there to Benidorm. How I wish I wasn't a shy teenager then, who didn't understand the 'signals'! Edit: never use Euronet ATM's!!!
Hardest part is finding that bus stop on level 2. Enjoy Benidorm again one of my favourite places. I hope to make it over in next few months all going well.
Yep Jet2, flown over 30 times with them. Never had a problem, apart from some delays due to the weather (leeds/Bradford as usual) Always friendly and helpful.

Also agree jet 2 are the absolute best 👍. Views from the plane ✈️ and the music were lovely 👌The difference in prices between taxi or bus 😮makes sense to get a bus definitely 👍. Passing the looking forward to this adventure. 👌👏🏻🙌😁

Going first week of May. Can't wait!! Enjoy Lee. Benidorm is the best Spanish holiday I've ever had. Good food, great drinks, lovely people, fantastic beach and the biggest bonus cheap!! I've definitely got the BeniBug!!
That bus was one of my little tricks. Thank you for telling everyone! For the return probably best to jump a taxi to the bus station...make sure you get a ticket from the machine in the ticket office there before boarding the bus at Stand 5 usually. The its non-stop direct to the airport.

I would like to say thank you for your Airport streams and the tips you provide. The wife and i have only been flying for a few years then covid struck so things stopped. I will say we are in our middle 50's so a airport was a scary place not knowing what to do. So watching what you do helps to understand what to do. So going to buy some merch to say Thank you. Jet 2 are my favourite and I'm autistic and they are so autism aware for us with sunflower lanyards . Recently flew from Belfast to Lanzarote with easyjet and Easyjet were also amazing for Sunflower lanyard users like me and my family

You can get the bus at the bottom of Ava Europa to Airport ticket office inside the arcade ..Or pay on the bus ( don't need to go to bus station )

Good point about the transfer bus , as they stop at so many hotels so the ordinary bus is quicker really, and under a tenner.
