I re-watched this video again four nights ago when it came up when I was searching for MotolordD accessories. I remember watching it a year ago, but didn't pay attention to the outcome of the seat later in the year. I have a leftover MotolordD rear box sitting on the shelf, and was thinking I might try to outfit my new yellow CT125 with MotorlordD accessories. Unfortunately, the box and the long seat don't work together. I then started watching forward to see when you removed the seat, as I don't remember seeing it on El Diablo. I didn't realize until re-watching all the videos that it looks like Robert mounted the same seat and still has his installed? It works well with his small tail box. I think the long seat may have been discontinued, but I see a new MotolordD shorter seat that has similar upholstery and comes in three patterns: Diamond; Vertical; Horizontal. It slopes up at the back to cover the lift handle on the rear rack, but may not extend to the rear of the lift handle. It may provide clearance for the MotolordD now apparently discontinued rear box, but it is hard to tell from the photos.

I kept moving farther back on the seat enough that I'd rest my tail bone on the rear rack horn and there is only about two inches of padding over that area. After a ride, I'd be extremely sore on my lower back because of that. Since going back to my stock seat, I don't have this issue with the pain in my back. Could just be an old man thing, but I'm staying with the stock seat. However, there are plenty of upholstery shops that can add more seat foam underneath the seat cover and that should make them a lot softer. With most of the small bikes that Honda makes, there are only cosmetic changes from year to year here in Thailand. I bought a Honda Wave back in 2013 when I moved here and there is literally no changes to it from the 2013 model to now in 2022, except the graphics and colors. So far it looks like that on the CT 125 also as the only difference I've seen is graphics and one color change. My bike is the 2020 model and I've not seen anything change from it to the 2022 bikes.... Have fun with it, you'll love the bike and doing the modifying is what makes the bike special to you..... Thanks for the comment.....
Would this full seat be suitable for two people?
Yes it would be. Much better than the stock seat with a buddy pad behind it. If you can get one, you won't be sorry..... I like mine especially for long road trips.....
@@TeamDNFracing thanks so much for the advice. If I can find a way to put a storage rack in the back too, I’m sold!!
@@JoraSly I have a Diablo rear rack on my bike with the longer seat. It covers it up quite a bit, but there still is a small portion that sticks out the back. However, the stock rack is a lot bigger than my Diablo rack so you may have enough room to do what you want with it. There is also an aftermarket company that sells and extension rack for the Honda CT and I'm not real sure of the name of the company, but I believe I saw it for sale on Shopee.co.th So google them up and type in CT125 in the search bar and you should get at least 10 pages of adds in there..... Good luck, let me know what you find....... This is the sellers name on Shopee: Boranclassicshops.brc
Where did you order the seat from? I checked Lazada and Shopee and didn't find it on either one.
I ordered it from Shopee.co.th on line and it is made by Motolord and Murazaki Shop handles them. You can look them up on Facebook as they show most every item they sell on their page. Also, if you contact them and tell them you want one, they may put it on Shopee for you to purchase through there. That is how I got mine was to contact Murazaki Shop through their Facebook page..... Hope this helps......
I just got mine .. what did the seat run u in cost ?
I got mine for 3,500 Thai baht which works out to about $110 US.....
A "paul owe" bird. Miss those sounds
The birds here in Thailand seem to be singing 24 hours a day. Love it......
How much is that long seat ?
I paid 3,500 Thai Baht for the seat which is about $110 US.......
Hi nice video n i just order a honda ct 125 in Indonesia after watching your video. May i know where to buy this seat? As i am traveling to bkk next month. Do u mind share the address or the shop contact? Thank u and love your videos
Hi Eddie,
do you have a recommendation where to buy a CT125 in Thailand?
I want to send it to Indonesia, so the location doesn't really matter.
Thank you!
Consider that Bangkok is the capitol, and that is where the shipment
will leave the country and where the paperwork for it will be done.
Plus, you wouldn't have to pay for shipment to Bangkok, and there
would probably be more people there proficient in English.
@@daveinwla6360 This was pretty much going to be my response to your comment. The warehouse for the Honda factory is in Rayong and every bike goes through there for delivery to any dealership. My bike came direct from the Rayong warehouse and then to my house all through a broker. Don't know if you can do that, so I would look at a dealership in Bangkok or Rayong.......
@@daveinwla6360 Cheers, that is what I am trying to do now!
@@TeamDNFracing Alright, I will try to contact some. Thanks!
@@hugoegon1 Good luck and let us know what you come up with. Information is always something that we can pass on to others without costing anyone a dime..... Thanks.....
The name is Bond….Eddie Bond!….
Very cool looking seat. Now your wife can ride on back when you two go out for date night!!!!!!!!….
Yes, I could take her along with me, but she doesn't want to get on a motorcycle. She has her reasons and I will respect them so I don't see me having someone on the back, but it would be a great seat combination for anyone who wants to have that option....... I like the Bond idea, I may use it in another video.... Thanks.....
Thanks for the review. This seat is a great idea to be able to move around on those long rides. Do you think a passenger could share it with the driver?
No problem, it is plenty large enough for two. The back seats that attach to the rear rack are not very large, I think this will cover about the same area that the stock and spare seat will. Plus, this thing has more cushion in it...... Thanks for the comment.....
New mic 🎤
We will be getting an external mic in the future, I promise. The GoPro was mounted on the handlebars this time and I was talking as loud as I could without yelling to have it pick up my voice. I'm not ignoring your comments on this, but and external mic is not cheap and we are going to have the channel pay for improvements on our equipment... The mic will be coming....
