  • Today i have listed what I think would make the ideal list of accessories-21 in total for the 2020 or 2021 Honda hunter cub or the Honda trail 125 as its known by in the USA.
    These accessories would make the ideal or perfect Xmas gift too. plus would be much cheaper than genuine dealer supplied options as aftermarket are always the cheaper option compared to the factory option..
    another great product from the honda motor company.

    Thank you for the great clip.
    Looks like an awesome bike. Whats your opinion, regarding realibilty and comfort on the bikes capabilities for 2 year around the world tour.
    I live in South Africa and am planning to ride all the way through Africa first, then Europe, USA and Alaska to start with.

      i have its bigger brother arriving shortly the crf300L -might be worth your trouble to check out what i think of it.
      back to the CT125 i must think its pretty good as i just bought a new one in RED!
      lets say i was planning to ride one around the world -would it do it-i'd say yes it would but its not going to be a fast trip.
      but first i think you'd have to do a bit of prepping- run a 13t front sprocket or a 42 rear. upgrade the rear shocks and put in the yss front fork insert springing. do a front mudguard lift to help combat the mud and soften up the seat. throw in better off-road style tyres but don't go above 2.75 as i had 3.00 on the tan and it slowed it down.
      after those mods which are pretty cheap to do i think your ready to party
      ooops! i almost forgot the most important
      replace the factory sump plug with a magnetic and do very regular oil changes to help prolong the motor.
      now i think your ready to party!

    Good job Warro! I live in Alaska, and all my grandkids ride dirt bikes.
    I bought a dirt bike last year to do a little riding with them, but the seat hight is too high and it is too heavy for me. So I don’t ride it much. You have motivated me to buy a smaller, lower and lighter Hunter 125 to ride trails with them. I think I can do that! Thank you for taking the time to make such informative and inspiring videos. Motorcycle Adventures with Pavlan, Itchy Boots with the blonde Dutch girl, and Ride with Warro with the bearded Aussie are my go to channels!

      bike handles them pretty good apart from i think one one real mod required and in my case i just dropped the front cog to a 13t for a $20 outlay.

    I like the look of the front rack, however, it seems so small to be useful. I would think it should extend out another 4-5 inches longer and have the bolt-downs on the inside, adding acouple of inches in with, Further, what do you think of the front end of rack curving up slightly, or is that too much?

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      pretty hard call when it comes to that front rack. the only problem i see its a bit on the heavy duty side and might put a bit more extra weight over the front end.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      following lots of testing i think overall the 13t front on stock rear is the best combo with a bit of hill climbing power.
      if just wanting to ride around town -maybe just stock setting is good enough

  • @tiedupand2twisted

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      it will run quicker and hold speed better at gps indicate 50 mph and not drop as quick in speed on the hills.
      only real drama it will trgger the abs light but once you turn it off and go again it resets.
      so it wakes up a bably performing 10 hp bike and make it a far more enjoyable ride experience

One thing though: I cannot say for sure, but it seems like your final drive chain may be a tad on the tight side. If so, that might cause some premature wear and other mischief in your gearbox and other drive train components. But carry on, Wild Bill!

      BB this is a far better bike than that other green bit of crap i just got rid of..lol no names mentioned but the very worst of the bunch i have bought to date! like it had been made from left over parts.
      btw just bought the new 021 honda cb500x yesterday pick it up tomorrow-should be fun. just lucky to get it. female buyer had it on pre-order 4 months. bike arrived and buyer found it was too tall for her. the rest is history.
      plus i may have one final crack at a B5 in green and after that call it quits on that era too.
      will see where that goes. all the best.

      @@ridewithwarro Wow! If you're talking about the Trials Special, that's a shocker. Such a pretty bike! But sometimes pretty just ain't enough. I'm still content with my old "Iron Belly", though I'd like to get a nice used 650 some day, when they find their way into my price neighborhood...the one with the broken beer bottles, crack vials and three-legged dogs limping around. Just out of curiosity, did you ever haul that metal detector out to those gold fields you mentioned? Maybe that Honda needs a big holster for a detector and shovel?

    Thanks for the review it's good I wonder what they were like our family had several of these Honda '90s back in the early '70s which those came from and then later on they boosted up to 110 cc's now 125 but the only thing missing on them is the dual range transmission that they had on the little nineties I didn't know if they had them on the one tens or not but in low range you could only go about 25 mph but if you could hang on to them they'd climb a cliff

    • @ridewithwarro

      the only thing it has better than your ct110 is far better brakes and fuel injection. i am not too fond of troublesome carby bikes..especially when they clock up a few years.
      nike does need more power but a 13t front sprockets certainly improves it.
      there are probly 20 plus clips i did on this bike. i cover most things.
      i just bought a kawasaki klx 150 and it would knock over any ct in any situation.
      one cant beat a 21front and 18 rear for off road riding. one one real problem-its a carby so thats why i bought it new

    Does anyone here know the torque specs for the axles? No one in the states seems to have a service manual and when I called the dealership today, they only have a spec sheet and said the torque spec was “59”. They didn’t know 59 what - surely not ft lbs or Nm. Thanks.

      try typing in 41 tooth rear sprocket for pitbike. plus its not a simple put on. i had to drill out the holes more to make it fit or line up.
      in my history there is more info on it if you decide to look and go further.
      best other choice is 13t front on stock rear
