My grandpa was situated in Vis in army and his job was pointing out the location of the fallen planes and saving them 😊 (if possible because he said a lot of them didn't make it...)
Plane is 22.6m long, wingsare 31.6m, 50 000lbs, its 70m under sea, its not that easy, and there is no point in lifting it and damaging it in proces, its deep so its wreck only tech divers see, thats why its still preserved and there is no names carved into wreck, it will remain where it was all this time
its a clean ditch so there is a good chance they made it out edit The pilot landed on water so the crew could evacuate but the co-pilot died before he could be rescued
