Very good quote from Sami Pakkarinen: "You should never expect a dive to go well, because when You do, it never does."
The disadvantages of eccrs all come down to the psychological effect and loss of discipline. On "normal" / training- dives I drive my Liberty sidemount manually 90% of the dives + switching to some offboard source mostly during the dive. Some dives even in SCR-procedure to only enjoy the benefits of the eccrs auto-setpoints in challenging dives with higher task-loading.

how about the advantage for BOV and being able to offboard ?
This is described at 24:50 onwards. The BOV has the great advantage, of course, that in the event of any trouble we switch to the open circuit and can breathe safe gas without ever taking the mouthpiece out of our mouths. Additionally, if we have off-board gas connected via a quick coupler with sufficient flow for breathing, we increase this advantage by having a large supply of gas available. We have several options for connecting the off-board to the Liberty BOV. 1. We can connect the quick coupler hose directly to the intermediate-pressure inlet of the BOV. 2. We can use our special off-board manifold (found in our e-shop), which we connect to the ADV and at the same time plug in a hose with a quick disconnect leading to the off-board cylinder. 3. We connect the hose with the quick coupler directly to the diluent's first stage. The benefits of each connection method are perhaps for a separate episode.

when the electronics of an eccr goes wrong o2 can be injected in the circuit in excess which is absolutely not the case with an mccr .. it is a huge difference

Hi, currently is DNA compatible only with Molex connector cells.

These videos could be so informative, but after trying 4 different videos, I have come to the inevitable conclusion that they're unwatchable. Extremely low resolution, incredibly high compression, and audio drops. There must be a better way to film this stuff.

Rest in peace Brett. Although I never got the chance to meet you, you have inspired me for years as I’ve followed along with the KUR adventures. I’m now finally a cave diver (apprentice) and can say without a doubt that you have been one of my greatest inspirations on this journey. Our paths came so close to crossing, but unfortunately this time it wasn’t meant to be. However, I will always carry with me the adventurous spirit you helped to cultivate, in every cave I’m blessed enough to venture into. Maybe even Weeki some day! Whatever happens- thank you for all you did.

Hello Michele, I am sorry it is not mentioned in the video, but you are right, it is isopropyl alcohol.
Does not work on M1 mac's. I Had to use an old mac to update. I got a usb connection error. Not sure what it said exacly. Using an Intel based mac worked fine.

how do you know when the cell inside is not working if it has not reached 12 months?
It can be recognized according to the millivolt of the sensor, on air the sensor should be in the range of 9-13mV.
It seems very polluted
id rather dive hard.
