Coffee shops!!! Everything is amazing! Ponte Vecchio is full of high end jewelry shops. Walking the streets look at the architecture. Nino and Friends, Borgo San Lorenzo, 2mins walk from Duomo for fantastic chocolate experience! Churches are amazing also@@katarzynamariamuszynska2811

Ponte Vecchio is unique, because it’s one of the few of its kind left in the world. That bridge design was more common in the Middle Ages. Unfortunately, many of the other bridges like Ponte Vecchio were not build high enough above the water. So those other bridges were heavily damaged or destroyed by floods, and therefore no longer exist.

During the 1970s I was a street vendor on Ponte Vecchio. We called ourselves 'artigiani liberi'

Why did only Jewish people work on the bridge? Was it a law? Seems like a prime spot maybe a guild controlled it?
