6:17 For some reason I just find it really dark how Mario just stares at the mad lad while he falls to his death. It shows that he doesn’t care about any of the creatures in the games like he doesn’t even show any affection at all. Poor Boom Boom.

That's definitely not the case with dark souls Skyrim or the fallout games

We need a story arc on Boom Boom that includes the Reznors
Boom Boom seems to appear as the most obscure 2D retro video game character. Daisy had at least cameos in the early 90's after Super Mario Land until Mario Tennis on Nintendo 64 due to handling issues. For Boom Boom, no 90's video game cameos at all. Not even appearances in the 2000's. Daisy takes the title of most obscure main game Mario character whereas Boom Boom takes the title of most obscure 2D retro video game character.

It would be interesting if Boom Boom could use power ups, like the fire flower, ice flower, or others, like Bowser sometimes uses, and it would make some sense, since Boom Boom's species are similar to Bowser's, In that both usually have spikes on their shells, so they can use them.
António Braçais actually, as seen in 3D land and 3D world, any enemy can use powerups. Goombas, Boos, Bullet Bills, and Bowser can use powerups. Bowser’s used the tanooki leaf and cat bell. Goombas have used tanooki leaf and cat bell. Boos and Bullet Bills used tanooki leafs.
And now he’s in Mario Maker 2

My headcanon: The Koopalings, having been confirmed to NOT be Bowser's children, are all adopted by Bowser as a list of worthy heirs to the throne should he die before having a son. This demoted them from being classified as his children to not after a blood heir was born. Boom Boom was a member that could've qualified for this position given his strength, but ultimately failed where the Koopalings succeeded. Now Boom Boom tirelessly tries to stop Mario, often constantly reappearing in Mario's journeys, hoping that if he can do what the Koopalings couldn't, he can join their ranks as the 8th Koopaling; or even further beyond.
Pom Pom, while her connection to Boom Boom is unknown, learned of this plan from Boom Boom and is trying to help him and herself to the spoils of beating Mario.
