You don't know that, for certain.
Though.
Why?
Honey Badgers wake up from the venom of snakes all the time.
And Komodo dragons often times make the mistake of swallowing electric eels.
But the komodo Dragon soon regurgitates the eel.
Why?
Because of the body structure of the eel.
The dragon can't digest it.
The same concept work with a badger.
According to ancient Jewish scriptures
The body structure of a badger is not digestible to a lizard or snake.
And if a komodo Dragon or serpent stupidly tries to eat a badger?
That Dragon or serpent is really gonna regret it.
Because the Honey Badgers body structure allows the Honey Badger to maneuver unharmed through the digestive system of a dragon or snake.
Then there's also a full grown hippopotamus rhinoceros and elephant.

To be honest..its mainly who gets the 1st attack. This could go for any animal, Komodo needs a bite, bears need claw, claw, bite. (Long as it doesnt bite the komodos armor.) Although bears have super strength.

You miss out Sliver back and polar bear.. If brown bear is no 1 in your list so is polar bear and wolverine is so is honey badger ! Man love to see Honey badger vs this dragon ! The lion can't even take it down 1 vs 1 and poison is useless against badger !

The only 2 animals i can think of that can effectively beat komodo dragons , is the American alligators, because their blood is antiseptic and cannot get infected. And the Crocodile because of its armor and equally antiseptic blood .

The Komodo Dragon has another advantage. When it bites, it doesn't have to hit a vital spot, like the neck. It can bite anywhere and still get the same result.

I do believe the Komodo dragon can reach lengths of 10ft. and a weight of 366lbs. and the biggest saltwater crocodile recorded was 23ft and 2,200lbs... I think we can all do the math here on which one will win... On the other hand, all these animals I think are capable of killing a dragon, but after any of these animals killing a dragon will later die later due to the bite of the dragon except the croc........ I question if the wolverine should be on this list...
