I know, and it's so easy to place a more expensive house in build mode, demolish nonessentials until it's at your budget, and then move a Sim in. Then when the Sim makes enough money, I either replace the furniture piece by piece, or I'll have saved the rooms as the original builder made it, and then place the room when I can afford it.
I really like the idea of a series of videos like this where you built a house with only two or three packs as opposed to using only one and basegame, it gives us more of an idea of what packs go well together and it's more similar to how most people play the game as I think most of us have only a couple of packs that we like the style of or that we love for game play It also give us an opportunity to see what packs match and that is very helpful for someone who has only a handful of packs and is thinking about buying another one but is not sure which You could make it a series and build a couple of houses where you use packs that go well together, like decor to the max, paranormal and strangerville or the castle pack and vampires, it could be a sort of "what to get next if you love pack X" series

I can't blame her on a cash limited build. 9 times out of 10, the ceiling is the least noticeable thing. But that 1 time in ten (BOTTOMS OF TREE HOUSES!) are so, so much better with ceiling paint. (Yes, I build a lot of treehouses lol, they're fun.)
this pack genuinely came out at the best time for me. i'm doing a legacy challenge where i want at least one member of every occult in the family tree. i started with werewolves, and now i'm at the second generation which is the spellcaster one. and What's more perfect for a witch who's girlfriend is a cured werewolf than a moon themed crystal pack??? we already live in that exact lot!
I LOVE the landscaping in this one! I'd like to see Kayla do some kind of landscape bootcamp where she tries landscaping in different kinds of builds and/or environments! Landscaping in the winter would be a fun challenge!

I started using the shell from you last shell challenge but couldn’t figure out how to make it work. It’s amazing how you can come up with designs as often as you do. I’ll keep tying to make my own but I might just give in and use your starter.

I love that you posted a starter home for this. I love using simsie starters because then I actually customize the build as I go. If i cheat for free real estate and use a completely finished house, I never want to mess it up by changing things!

Okay so I just downloaded this because my attempts at building my own were awful, and the Realm of Magic bathroom set comes in a pretty mauve and like coppery swatch that I’ve never used that perfectly matches the wallpaper you used in the bathroom! This is a great starter house with a lot of fun ways to make it fancier! The landscaping is what really sold me. Thanks, Kayla!

You should do an “X-men” house. Rooms for different special sims. Ex werewolf, vampire, mermaids, octomom, cat lady and so forth. Just a mansion with all the “mutants”
Same with my pc, cant play anymore to laggy low fps ( on big lots or with many sims around ) 😅, now i play on xbox series with keyboard, i like it fast with max graphics and no lag. I only miss mccc, Basemental Drugs and wickedwhims but i can have fun without them too, cuz i have almost all packs

I never play as a spellcaster but I have been since Crystal Creations. I am huge into herbalism, natural medicines, crystals, copper, jewelry making in real life so why not.

As a spell caster you can use magic to duplicate the items and sell the same one over and over again and get quite a bit of money
And you can copypasto the crystal trees
You can mix realm of magic, crystal creations, and paranormal stuff together i feel like they all go in hand
