Thank you for this! I'm thisclose to pulling the trigger on it and hoping it's not too dark to see clearly, doesn't sound like it. If close to her Ocean Arcanae I'm good and don't think I have anything like this one. Did you get the PDF book she has which I assume is longer or do you think the LWB is enough?
I don’t think it is too dark at all. It is easier to see in person. Very similar to the Ocean in terms of the darkness level. I didn’t get the pdf - I hate pdf guided LOL. I am not big on guidebooks anyway. I find it very easy to read with so I think you would be fine with the LWB or even no book. 😉

I have the Ocean Tarot and Myths and Legends. I find the Ocean hard to interpret without constantly referencing the book as I'm not that familiar with ocean creatures. Myths and Legends seems easier to connect to tarot meanings for me. I definitely like the creator's art, though I do find the cards a bit dark in both decks--hard for me to see details and the fonts aren't easy to read. On the other hand, her black and white Cat tarot I really like, maybe because the art is less dark, easier to see the details.
I usually have issues with seeing details on b&w decks. Not all though. But I don’t have issues seeing details in these decks. I think I just have a weird thing with my vision. I used to say I had face blindness because I have real trouble picking out faces from a crowd (my friends all know that if we ever meet anywhere public, they need to watch for me because I will most likely miss them). But, I don’t think that is quite it. But whatever it is, it seems like it also affects how I see things in limited color palettes. Everything often kind of blends together. I am tempted to get her cat and dog decks though. They are so pretty.
A lot of detail in this one. Some of the cards are really dark though. I adore learning new myths and legends, not just my origins but all. It is an echo from the past. People really knew what was important in life, that we take for-granted .
They are but genuinely, I had no trouble seeing all the details (and my eyes are not the best LOL). Me too! There is always something to be learned and loved.
