he didn't , he asked if he is gonna stay no matter what cause he gave the sign that he wanted to stay, the dealer noticed it and asked him since he is the only one in the tabble. So the dealler can just normaly play the round cause it doesnt change anything.

This is the correct way to play Blackjack. Some of these other people like Perfect Pair and Mr. Hand Pay plays it all wrong.
