We have just sorted out a new filming location and equipment which we are still working out the best settings. Apologies in advance for some of the microphone noise, this was one of 8 videos we shot back to back on the first use and we should improve by the time we get to next weeks video shooting.
You should listen to When destinies align the live version and as far as the story it's Obvious to me maybe because I'm American ]:P The capes and dark scenes are in the confusion of the world in the Studio they represent more light like at Judgement Day you'll have the light and all will be revealed.
The rock music is not about dresses, suits, colors, etc. It is related with souls, senses, THE SPIRIT OF THE MUSIC. Lovebites is the real example of the talent in the rock, all kinds of it.
1:10 there are two reasons why the band wears white, one of which was already mentioned: 1. So they can be seen . When Minho (former bassist) was in the band, the tallest person in the band was Miyako (Dean guitarist), at 5’2”. So most are barely at 5ft tall.. Haruna (the drummer) is the shortest at 4’9”! So imagine that at a typical metal show where everyone wears black. Someone that short would get lost in the risers, amps, and lighting in stage. Wearing white allows them to be seen, so your eyes are focused on them. Smart move in that aspect. 2nd reason they are wearing white: they are metal. Who says you have to have black on, holes in the pants, tattoos, and completely disheveled to look or be metal? If you want to see what the metal scene is like in Japan, search for “visual kei”. That’s a major scene there. They are being the opposite of that, where they don’t have to look that way to be or play metal. It’s okay to want to be a metal guitarist and also carry a Louis Vuitton purse. Besides, it’s even more metal when the ladies are playing, and are outplaying the guys, playing BETTER than anything the guys serve up.. and do it in heels.
I dont mind people not liking their music, everyone has their own tastes and I certainly dislike a lot of things other people love, my problem with your last video was how much crap you just made up based on watching one single video, so many false assumptions, etc. Now, im glad you gave them another chance, and one that ended somewhat positively it seems, but I wanna remind you that this is just a tiny bit of what the band as to offer and they are not a 1 trick band. I recommend checking them live next, Swan Song with Chopin intro is my choice, but you should do fine with any other recommendation.
LOVEBITES - Judgement Day lyrics: Never live, never die, never end, nowhere to go Every night, everywhere, everything arriving in darkness What is right, what is wrong, what is sin, who's to decide? Hide and seek, truth or dare, playing tag, chased by the Evil Another back and forth of gaining and losing Running out of my time, each tick of the clock's taking down piece of my life again Who's allied, who's against, who's to pay, I'll wait it out Up and down, in and out, left or right, answers are nowhere What do you see in this world full of insanity? When do we come to ask what's awaiting us, don't look away! This is the truth RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY! LIFE, GIVEN THE FOREVERNESS RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY! LIFE, LIVING EVERY STORY Travelling in the past, find salvation Now with the great will, the path lay in front of me Starting here, this is the day! You still have not truly listened or experienced this band until you do their LIVE performances. Lovebites live is a stunning example of what real top notched skilled musicians can do when there is no studio environment but only you the stage and real fans to satisfy. One of the best bands ever and the new bassist, Fami (20 y.o.)
We were planning to do a live video but seeing as this one dropped a couple of weeks ago we felt it would give us the best representation of their current sound. We will be going back to check out live performances on our next video of them.
+1 On Set the World on Fire as the next reaction for two reasons. One it is thrash metal and heavier, a different style than the first two songs you heard. Two it is a live performance and is phenomenal.
next time, I would like you to react to the live performance especially on the song Break The Wall, Set The World Of Fire & The Hammer Of Wrath live at Tokyo
Impressions of colour vary from country to country and ethnic group to ethnic group. The main reasons for this are differences in culture, history and religion, as well as differences in eye colour and sunlight. The former is due to the existence of a common sense that "this is what this colour looks like", while the latter is due to differences in the sense of "this is what this colour looks like when I see it myself". White is the colour of "kejime" for the Japanese. Kejime is Japanese. (Meaning of Kejime.) ①Clarify behaviour and attitudes in accordance with the norms and morals to be observed. ②Putting an end to things. For the Japanese, depending on the occasion, white clothing is a garment of death. When a samurai commits seppuku, he wears white clothes. However, brides often wear white at weddings. Incidentally, in Japan, pure white has been the colour of choice for bridal costumes since the Heian period. It has also been regarded as a sacred colour, as in many old Japanese stories where gods appear transformed into white creatures. White colour that indicates that you are not of this world.
The video is quite understandable in my opinion. With regard to the title itself, the day of judgment is theoretically the day when the scales of judgment that weigh the good and bad human actions are established. That's why you have two realities in the video, a bright one and the other dark one which is in the mirror. Asami who runs in the forest, represents according to me the human being who wants to escape from his dark side which chases him. That's why there are threatening shadows in the video. In order to fight the dark side he must necessarily brandish the sword of justice. It is by being "fair" in his actions and words that the dark side disappears. It is a battle between good and evil. The fact of having seized the sword and having broken the mirror (our dark reality), makes that we have overcome our own demons. But this victory is ephemeral because the mirror is reformed at the end. This means that it is a perpetual struggle.
🙂We seem to have a very similar take on this video, and like I said in a comment below, the Lyrics are SO Asami! I totally agree on the reason she continues to run - the next decision of 'right and wrong' is inevitable. 🤘🐺🤘
Also if you notice in the first part of the song before she gets the sword there is a black cloud type missed flying around and ride around the solo time and knocks her down I feel this represents evil and this is what she's running from after she gets the sword you never see that again
Why the white dresses? They wanted to avoid dressing up like 95% of the heavy metal world with black leather. I just don’t see what you’re seeing in your critiques..
I was watching Andy the whole time, as he as the most critical in the earlier reaction (and I was probably scathing in my comment). I've no idea what the video means, but for me Lovebites are better seen on stage than in MVs. As long as the song itself is fine, and I've never found one I haven't liked, then that's the key for me.
a very honest review, appreciate it~~ i LOVE them but i must agree, tbh all their videos are like this. whoever their video editor is loves. cutting. cuts EVERYWHERE-- i don’t really mind it, but it is a but much sometimes lol. and i like their new bassist, the music has a slightly different sound now and i’m curious to see how they progress
thats very great best masterpiece lovebites judgement day classic album legendary of the world. I love great best band favorite lovebites. thank you lovebites the true heavy power metal forever 🤘🎸
I think the cinematic part of the video is just the beginning of the story, which will be told more across multiple videos. They have said that the album has a theme of the light and dark within ourselves, which is represented in this video by the contrast between the usual white outfits and the black cloaks. Teaser photos from the newest video shoot suggest that the visual black vs white theme will continue in the next video. In this one, Asami is running from and fighting against some kind of dark force that is threatening to take her over (notice the claws, the black cloud, the almost werewolf-like imagery). I don't know if the rest of the album is a rock opera that will fill this story out, or if it is just a concept album with a general theme of the internal struggle against darkness (we'll find out in February when the album drops). It's a theme they've visited in some of their previous songs, too, as the struggle and triumph of good over evil has always been a theme they have championed (also one of the reasons they wear white, in addition to those given in other comments).
As a metal fan it is impossible to dislike this song. As a metal fan, it is unthinkable to judge this band on two music videos. You’ve yet to see them live, where it’s virtually impossible to accept that they are actually playing live (they are). As a good friend of mine (and probably a secret relative) says in comments, “this band have no peers”. It’s true. They don’t. By the time the album is released they will have notched up 60 songs, all written by them and Mao, a longtime collaborator and keyboard player. They haven’t courted popularity like some Japanese bands by covering old metal songs. Yes, they’ve covered 3, but not for general release and 2 were merely live covers. The third, Painkiller, was a fan extra on a compilation released after the original bass player left. That will melt your arses to that stage. Fair reaction, fair comment, but in my view very “judgemental”, in that, whether you intend it or not (probably not) you unfortunately come across as know all’s. Keep reacting to Lovebites but please, from a slightly shorter horse.
These dudes are nit-picking and trying to over-analyze everything. No need to do that with Lovebites. Before they can even have an opinion, they need to check out several live performances. Then they will understand the power of Lovebites.
I suggest you now go back to the beginnings of the band. Their first EP was the summer of 2017, so it hasn't been that long ago for them especially considering the disruptions of the last 3 years (the departure of their bassist Miho in August, 2021, the temporary hiatus that followed, the lengthy audition process for a new bassist, and two members had babies - all during a pandemic). The first two tracks from Awakening From Abyss, their first full length album released in October, 2017, are called The Awakening and The Hammer of Wrath. The Awakening is a 2 minute instrumental composed by Miyako, their stage left guitarist, which was meant to be strictly a concert opener but the band decided to make it the album opener as well. The Hammer of Wrath is a blistering thrash song born from the mind of Miho who co-composed the song and wrote the lyrics. Miho was the founder of the band and her love of 80s metal shaped the band's sound and is the reason for 100% English lyrics. Miho is metal to the core. Here is a link to a live performance of The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath - th-cam.com/video/otJZPUCwyOM/w-d-xo.html
+1 for doing a thrash song like The Hammer of Wrath. (Use the link provided, do not search for it, or you will get the horrible audio of the Bloodstock version.)
I think anyone who calls themselves a metalhead and thinks a guitar solo run could be too long, isn't a full-blooded metalhead. Especially at this talent level. This solo run is "only" 1:15 long.
When we refer to solo lengths it tends to mean within the context of songs, there have been some songs where the solo after 10 seconds seemed to long as it didnt add anything extra and was a distraction then there have been others where after 2 minutes it still seems fine, it really depends on whether it adds to the overall song. This is a very subjective topic as some people want more solo and others want less but thats the reason we discuss the songs as each of us look for different things in our music. Thanks for the comment about the solo, your the first to have raised it.
@@adkrockandmetal You mentioned that the solo run in "When Destinies Align" was too long, the only other Lovebites song you have reacted to. For me personally that is an epic solo run, but this Judgement Day one is my favorite by them, second to "Break the Wall" which is much different style solo section, and their most Slayeresque song: th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html . Miyako & Midori are the best dual lead guitarists going today, and arguably ever (in the discussion). If you really want to challenge your theory of long guitar solo runs, listen to "Scream for Me" - th-cam.com/video/46z-13l2oNs/w-d-xo.html
You guys are just too pompous and at the same time totally ignorant of Japanese culture. Go learn something before you react to anymore Japanese fans. You think far too much of yourselves!
At least in this video, Andy gave the song a proper listen. It was pretty clear in your last Lovebites reaction that Andy had made up his mind that he was going to hate the song before he'd heard 5 seconds of it. The fact that he couldn't even remember the song seems to indicate that he didn't really give the first song a fair and proper listen. Anyway, I thought all three of you gave a fair reaction to this video. I may not agree with everything you said (personal taste of obviously entirely subjective), but at least you were all fair and reasonable in your comments. I look forward to your review of the new Lovebites album which comes out on Feb 22. Also, you really should consider checking out their straight up, thrash songs. I really think you'll be impressed with them. Break the Wall: th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=LB_WOLFPACK The Hammer of Wrath: th-cam.com/video/otJZPUCwyOM/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Live Thunder Vengeance: th-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=LOVEBITES
the bald guy needs to listen SHADOWMAKER, HAMMER OF WRATH, BREAK THE WALL, and SET THE WORLD ON FIRE!!!!!!!!! more thrashy and i think he would love these songs. do them all live!!!!
I have been saying this over and over, but these guys have their own agenda and seem to ignore our suggestions. They react to the songs they want to react to. They said they will do the album next. I really think they should do a thrash song next, something completely different than their usual power metal stuff.
I'm glad that you decided to check them out again. Lovebites definitely deserve a second look. Also When Destinies Align was released in late 2019 btw, so a bit over three years ago, not six. All Lovebites members seem to have improved since, they've added new bassist Fami and the video for Judgement Day is much better. Most of their older music videos sadly aren't all that great. Not that it should affect the enjoyment of the actual music, but it can be a bit alienating. I think this new album can be their true breakthrough.
So glad to see Andy do a complete 180. He was the one who said after the first video, "Sorry wolfpack, If I never hear that again I will die a happy man." He also said Asami reminded him of Mariah Carey (in her look). Judgement Day is a complete power up by Lovebites and shows off the band in top form. Asami knocked it out of the park. Now I hope you guys do their thrash metal songs because another complaint you said in the first video was they needed to have a really good riff. The riff in "Break the Wall" is one of the best riffs I have ever heard in ANY metal band. Seriously.
Great video quality! - and a good Reaction. If you want to truly understand Lovebites, you need to react to them LIve - they literally sound like the CD, only with the Energy of Live. The video is an internal struggle between our better selves (Light) and our not-better selves (Dark). Asami (vocals & Lyrics) is running from making a decision, and her mind is racing between the Dark and the Light (dark hoods in the woods vs white in the studio). The Darkness almost overcomes her, but she pulls the Sword of Judgement out of the Stone and turns to face her fears once she has made up her mind what she has to do to be true to herself. In the end sequence you can see the Dark Selves locked in the shattered pieces of glass. Pretty f-ing Epic - and very 'Asami'.
You 3 are nice bones but you cost us nerves. You guys don't like power metal. Ok. the question is why you always react to power metal videos from Lovebites ? Can it be that you 3 sweeties are not the brightest candles on God's big cake ? 🤪 Why don't you make a reaction video to the fantastic Lovebites live thrash metal videos ? I wish I could help you ...🤐😵😵💫 So guys, let's be serious and not kidding: These women play 2 hours power, speed and thrash metal live shows at their finest. Don't judge musicians by the videos (after all, you can do anything in videos these days), watch Lovebites live. Listen to the fans. Live musicians show what they can really do ... For example : The Awakening The Hammer Of Wrath live Tokyo 2020 - Good luck
A belated welcome to the Wolf Pack! Just found you guys. I usually watch their live performances and reactions to those, because that's where its really at with Lovebites, but this new material is fantastic too. If you never got an answer regarding the white dresses, it is concept - the idea upon founding was that they wanted to express that metal does not have to be about all-black, dark lyrics etc - that metal can be a positive force, and to reinforce their positive lyrics, they wear all-white. Dresses because they are all female and that's a rarity in the genre, although admittedly not a rarity in Japan, moreso in the West. That's my understanding of the whole thing though. One of the best metal bands active today - and ever, imho (you really have to dig into their catalogue and see them live to come to that conclusion probably) - the talent level is insane. I love Asami's voice. Haruna is a beast on the drums. Miyako and Midori are one of the best guitar duos around. Miho was amazing on the bass, but Fami is as well. My favorite band, personally. Stunned you gave them a negative response in your first reaction (I have not seen it). Admittedly, they are best live imho. The gym setting has no bearing on the story. Lots of bands do that (include footage of the band playing in some setting, and then have footage of the story pieces, and jump back and forth). I'm not sure there's a lot of story here to dissect. Different culture may play a role. She's being chased by a hooded figure we never see, she sings about Judgement Day, and at some point picks up a sword and turns the tables on the pursuer, breaking the glass and the spell. I think it's more about theme and less about narrative, but I never went looking for a story in this one.
1:48 one more thing.. so far what you have seen from the band has been power metal and greatly power metal influenced. That was the goal; to be a band influenced by 80s power metal. Judas Priest, Helloween, Iron Maiden, etc. But the girls go harder. They can thrash just as hard as the Big 4, and at times you could take out LoveBites and directly substitute in Anthrax or Slayer, and it would sound exactly the same. I’d suggest going straight in and reacting to Break The Wall or Thunder Vengeance, from their show Five of a Kind, at Zepp DiverCity, in Tokyo. There you will get it.
We were going to do Thunder Vengence but decided to do this track as it was more recent. Once we have done the album review we most likely will go back. Were currently trying to balance the channel with Metal and rock from a wide range of genres and countries.
@@adkrockandmetal No problem! But I will say that live is where they shine. And also keep in mind that if you do the clip form Zepp Diver City, that Thunder Vengeance is their opening number. and that's how they set the tone for the entire show! You'll enjoy it!
@@adkrockandmetal Lovebites new album is shaping up to be power metal. I REALLY urge you to check out one of their thrash metal songs - Break the Wall. Thunder Vengeance, or Set the World on Fire first. THEN do the album.

If you want to understand the SECRET of the UNIVERSE, LOVEBITES is the CLUE. The Universe is made of 3 things only : ENERGY, VIBRATION, FREQUENCY. Lovebites music compositions are made same as the Universe - they are ENERGY VIBRATING at different MELODY HARMONICS of FREQUENCIES...
lovebites received the Best New Band Award from your country's magazine metal hummer. However, it is very sad that there are many negative people in the British reactor.😢
Bands like Lovebites and BandMaid are a bit confusing for us westerners I think. We see the outfits and looks and it clashes with our preconceived notions. Close your eyes and listen to the music and judge that. I promise it¨s a different thing. Then when you look it doesn't bother you any longer.
Its a weird thing but at no point in the video did we ever say the look bothered us, we simply wanted to know if there was a symbolic meaning behind the look as in Japanese culture image a style can mean alot of different things where as in western bands its not so much. We were simply asking to ensure we didnt gloss over something that could be significant within the band. Dave does videography so is always looking to understnad the stories in videos, his view is that you should be able to turn the music off for a video and still understand what the song is about which is why he disects the videos more than Andy or Kirk. It's such a shame that some comments have still picked our reaction apart even though we all really liked the track and said so at the end, thats not in relation to your comment but on a few of the others. We have noticed that average view length is about 8 minutes which means alot of people wouldnt have watch our breakdown of the track at the end and may just have assumed we didnt like the track. Anyway, thanks for leaving the comment and i hope you did take it that we did enjoy the track as we did, and we are looking forward to reviewing the album next week somepoint.
@@adkrockandmetal I didn't mean it as critique, to be honest. I just know how I reacted myself the first time I saw them. The gap between what you see and hear is hard, but Japanese culture is very foreign to me, far up in the north or Europe 😀
@@eyeosphere0036 we filmed the Nemophila reaction prior to the Lovebites Judgment Day reaction and i think at that point we generally felt they were, now we just dont know. To be honest they are both great.
Last time, Andy said about LOVEBITES: "If I never hear that again, I'll die a happy man." It was clear from his face that he was sincere. It was a reaction to "When Destinies Align", one of the best LOVEBITES songs to date. The songs "When Destinies Align" and "Judgement Day" are like two sisters. Both songs are speed metal + power metal. Does that mean Andy won't die a happy man now?🤔 P.S. Andy, this is not a sports hall. Well, where did you see such a sports hall?🙄 This is the podium (stage). There are rows of seats for spectators on three sides. This arrangement is only in the halls for fashion shows. 😊
@@adkrockandmetal Well, today he didn't look as gloomy and categorical as during the reaction to "When Destinies Align". I hope he dies a happy man.🤭I am the person who explained to you in the comments the meaning of the MV "When Destinies Align" (Samurais , white dresses, etc. etc.)
@@adkrockandmetal Ok, I can repeat. I liked Andy today. He even wrote down something in a notebook, like a diligent student. Maybe it will give Andy a different perspective on "When Destinies Align". 1. Of why Ladies Samurais "When Destinies Align" ( lyrics -Asami / music - Miyako ) is a song about LOVEBITES .Originally Miyako (guitar, brunette) , who wrote the music, gave the name of this song - "Lovebites". When Asami (vocals ) wrote the lyrics, she wrote about the 5 members the band. The title was eventually changed to "When Destinies Align". In the MV the ladies look like Japanese samurai (clothes, armor, weapons). This has a deep meaning Samurai code "Bushido" ( "The Way of the Warrior" ) states: - "A samurai has no goal, there is only a path" - “Be who you are, not who others want you to be” LOVEBITES are ladies with the soul of a samurai. Their Destinies Aligh in LOVEBITES, they chose their own path and follow it, breaking the usual stereotypes of people (including the fact that women can't play metal). 2. When the ladies created the band, they carefully thought through everything ( appearance, musical concept, etc.). They wanted to create a band whose main musical direction is a combination of power metal and "old school" heavy metal 1980 - s (NWOBHM ). All LOVEBITES album covers (except for the first "The Lovebites EP") feature the Wolf, symbolizing that, playing a non-mainstream heavy metal genre, the band is the "Lone Wolf" of today's metal scene. Thus the Wolf became the band's mascot. Accordingly, the fans of the band began to call themselves "Wolf Pack" Why ladies in white dresses at concerts and in the MV ? - Their decision to wear all white is based on contrasting with their "old school" sound and making LOVEBITES stand out from other bands. - All the ladies are short. Haruna - drums (4'9"; 1.45m) , Asami - vocal (4'10"; 1.47m), Midori - guitar (4'11"; 1.5m), Miyako - guitar/piano (5'2"; 1.58m), Miho - bass (5'1"; 1.55m). They decided that white clothes make them more visible on the stage of the big hall. - They want to stay feminine despite playing metal.🤗 LOVEBITES regularly update their wardrobe, but stage dresses are always white (with gold)
The purpose of the white dresses is rather quite simple and practical. Because all of the members are around 5 feet tall, it helps them to distinct on the stage on their live performances.
It's a question we raise anytime we have a band dressed in distinct outfits or styles. We asked the same question about the band Warkings and it was also discussed in the case of Band Maid. We know that symbols and image is very important within the japanese culture in general so alot of things have specific meanings that in western markets would be seen as not important. It is part of our ever expanding horizons.
@@adkrockandmetal No doubt, but in this case it has little to nothing to do with culture or tradition. It's more, like I said (or rather, like they have said), simply practical.
Andy's wearing a Bathory hoodie, that explains everything! 🤣 I'll take M&M solos all day long! You guys did Thunder Vengeance live, you now need to do Set The World On Fire live. They clearly aren't a one-trick pony, not just power or thrash metal. They do it all, even prog and ballads. "Seeing improvement", their abilities are off the charts...lol 🤘
Oh, I remember you. You were the ones in the previous video who started criticizing the fans in a previous video that was hidden or deleted due to how bad it went. The Internet never forgets. You don't get anything out of changing locations or apologizing for the noise if deep down we know that you are still the same ones who have gotten 2 times the worst reactions from fans and for good reason.
@@adkrockandmetal The same can be applied to you, or have you already forgotten that the first thing you did in your previous video was criticize the fans even before starting the reaction?
@@Actkqk3 we dont deny what we said, the video has never been pulled down and even in this video we referenced the last reaction. We just approach each video as a different entity and share if we like or don't. As far as the Lovebites fans, they are very passionate about the band and they are not affraid to show it, there are alot of fan groups for bands that comment on videos but the Lovebites fans are certainly the most vocal.
I was never a power metal fan. Thrash and speed are my thing. Lovebites are not power metal in a classic sense. No other band I know (been listening to metal for 50+ years) blends power/speed/thrash/heavy metal elements better, and in every song, you hear multiple elements and influences.
I totally agree with what you said. To say they are a power metal band is not telling the whole story. Although the songs may be similar to power metal in some ways, their riffs make the power metal sound heavier.
@@ChadTheDragonLord Yup. Similar, that's about it. Glory to the World is about as close to classic power metal that they get. And even then, it has a much edgier feel than most of the large production "epic" style power metal, you know, like high end symphonic elements on a grand scale. Lovebites doesn't do that. They cap of the power metal and as I said they pack a bunch of elements and influences in every song, making them all unique.
Hi guys. I looked at your videos and what you have reacted to from Lovebites. Not much really, and nothing that I would call their best stuff. Even though "When Destinies Align" maybe is a cute one if you are a fan. I think you have to listen to more. And in particular live stuff. So, what to choose? They have different genres. Som speed metal and some ballads .... Lets assume you want it heavy. Then I would recommend * Holy War * Set the world on fire * Raise some hell * The awakening / the hammer of wrath (two in one in 6 minutes) * Break the wall You get it - lots to listen to.
Occasionally but we also feel like reactors should break down music and not just gloss over it. The artists put alot of time into the music so we want to truly understand what they were thinking and what there aim was when writing a song. For us the overthinking is actually trying to respect the artist more by understanding them better

Lovebites never claimed to be power metal, just heavy metal. They are modest and excellent musicians. I'm sorry, but anyone who only listens to thrash metal and doesn't tolerate other forms of heavy metal, shouldn't palpitate so prejudicedly, ever. It always reduces. Always belittles. It will always be wrong. And there is also sexism when watching Lovebites: they talk about dresses, they talk about the color of the dress, they talk about anything. And do recognize that it bothers you? It's pathetic! Did want them to sing and play as if they were men and in uniforms? Open your eyes and minds to music and less to patterns! And if you guys do better, create your own band and demonstrate that superiority to heavy metal fans worldwide like Lovebites and so many bands do! Ps: the setting is not a basketball gym It's a theater. It is coherent with the lyrics and with the images in the video.
It’s pretty simple: LOVEBITES wear white dresses and heels because all the other Metal bands wear black T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who thought that the video was shot in a gym.
No puedes pedirle una critica constructiva y objetiva a alguien que solo esta encuadrado en un solo género., pero lo chistoso es si conoce a Mariana Carey o María. jajaja
The main question here is "can you do what these women can do?" Unless you can, you shouldn't criticize and just limit your comments to saying you don't like the song.
Lovebites are better in live performances, always better, so... The white dresses are for two reasons: 1° they are very small women and so in live are more visible and 2° the white is against the black conformism of the Metal!
Lovebites upcoming album should be their best yet. I love the solos. Miyako and Midori are two of the best guitarists out there and so fun to watch. I would suggest NOT watching Hagane's SuperVillan. It has a guitar solo that goes on and on, but I love it. Overall, I think you gave this one a positive and who knows the ladies might give this video a like.
its a reaction channel, and opinions are exactly that no problem. the problem begins when "heavy metal " is not your thing. you need to find something else to react to. you cant give honest reactions to something you know nothing about
Heavy metal is certainly our thing on a broad aspect. We all have and own several thousand cd's from many many heavy metal and hard rock bands. There are so many sub genres that you can't possibly like all of them.
We have just sorted out a new filming location and equipment which we are still working out the best settings. Apologies in advance for some of the microphone noise, this was one of 8 videos we shot back to back on the first use and we should improve by the time we get to next weeks video shooting.
You should listen to When destinies align the live version and as far as the story it's Obvious to me maybe because I'm American ]:P The capes and dark scenes are in the confusion of the world in the Studio they represent more light like at Judgement Day you'll have the light and all will be revealed.
in other words keep fighting till the end never give up.

Next LOVEBITES song: *BREAK THE WALL*
The rock music is not about dresses, suits, colors, etc. It is related with souls, senses, THE SPIRIT OF THE MUSIC. Lovebites is the real example of the talent in the rock, all kinds of it.
1:10 there are two reasons why the band wears white, one of which was already mentioned:
3. The white and gold symbolises Greek Goddesses.
And that's why they are also known as the 'White Wolves'.
Not looking "metal" is actually more metal than metal.
I recommend they don't react to anymore. My 10 year old grand nephew has a better idea than these numpties
LOVEBITES - Judgement Day lyrics:
Never live, never die, never end, nowhere to go
Every night, everywhere, everything arriving in darkness
What is right, what is wrong, what is sin, who's to decide?
Hide and seek, truth or dare, playing tag, chased by the Evil
Another back and forth of gaining and losing
Running out of my time, each tick of the clock's taking down piece of my life again
Who's allied, who's against, who's to pay, I'll wait it out
Up and down, in and out, left or right, answers are nowhere
What do you see in this world full of insanity?
When do we come to ask what's awaiting us, don't look away!
This is the truth
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY! LIFE, GIVEN THE FOREVERNESS
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
LIFE, LIVING EVERY STORY
Travelling in the past, find salvation
Now with the great will, the path lay in front of me
Starting here, this is the day!
Never live, never die, never end, nowhere to go
Every night, everywhere, everything arriving in darkness
What do you see in this world full of insanity?
When do we come to ask what's awaiting us, don't look away!
This is the truth!
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY! LIFE, GIVEN THE FOREVERNESS
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
LIFE, LIVING EVERY STORY
Travelling in the past, find salvation
Now with the great will, the path lay in front of me
Starting here, this is the day!
Judgement day!
Judgement day!
Judgement day!
Judgement day!

You can't judge the wine by the bottle but buy the taste , and Lovebites has a fantastic quality of wine .
@@adkrockandmetal Use the links the wolfpack provides. Do not go searching or you will end up choosing the wrong video.
It is about your inner fight between your light and your dark side and one day you have to decide which path you are going to choose.
you guys should check out a live performance of them. I suggest "set the world on fire" tokyo 2021.
+1 On Set the World on Fire as the next reaction for two reasons. One it is thrash metal and heavier, a different style than the first two songs you heard. Two it is a live performance and is phenomenal.
Another vote for set the world on fire live. Also break the wall, thunder vengeance, and hammer of wrath.
Yeah, these dudes might like that one better.
next time, I would like you to react to the live performance especially on the song Break The Wall, Set The World Of Fire & The Hammer Of Wrath live at Tokyo
(Meaning of Kejime.)
①Clarify behaviour and attitudes in accordance with the norms and morals to be observed.
🔥 LOVEBITES 🤘🏻🐺🤘🏻 MASTERCLASS 🔥
Very interesting take on the video. Makes sense when you explain it that way.
🙂We seem to have a very similar take on this video, and like I said in a comment below, the Lyrics are SO Asami! I totally agree on the reason she continues to run - the next decision of 'right and wrong' is inevitable. 🤘🐺🤘
Well said.

Next LOVEBITES song: *BREAK THE WALL*
They are one of globally the best live bands including males definitely.
LOVEBITES 🐺 INCREDIBLE
Huge Lovebites fan... Nice..
Check out 'Set the world on fire' Live..
Need to see their live sets. Better live than on a music video.
he wears a Bathory shirt so he must be a fan of black metal. i am a huge black metal fan as wel but lovebites is just amazing. this song is perfect.
They wouldn't have won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band if they were bad. Nuff said.
ITS OVER 9000!!!
@@mmcpa cheers for that, we will certainly add the track to the list.
Yeah, I want MORE guitar solos! M & M are killing it!
You guys are just too pompous and at the same time totally ignorant of Japanese culture. Go learn something before you react to anymore Japanese fans. You think far too much of yourselves!
TBH Andy looked as if he was listening to the shipping Forecast on Radio 4 and writing his shopping list
Break the Wall: th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=LB_WOLFPACK
The Hammer of Wrath: th-cam.com/video/otJZPUCwyOM/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Live
Thunder Vengeance: th-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=LOVEBITES
I don't know if you guys care or not, but there's a typo in the thumbnail. It should read "We were wrong," not "We we're wrong."
thanks, we missed that
the bald guy needs to listen SHADOWMAKER, HAMMER OF WRATH, BREAK THE WALL, and SET THE WORLD ON FIRE!!!!!!!!! more thrashy and i think he would love these songs. do them all live!!!!
Never ask Dave to tell you when a song came out....he never gets it right lol
Pretty f-ing Epic - and very 'Asami'.
album will be released on the 21st of february not march
You 3 are nice bones but you cost us nerves. You guys don't like power metal. Ok. the question is why you always react to power metal videos from Lovebites ?
Can it be that you 3 sweeties are not the brightest candles on God's big cake ? 🤪
Why don't you make a reaction video to the fantastic Lovebites live thrash metal videos ? I wish I could help you ...🤐😵😵💫
So guys, let's be serious and not kidding: These women play 2 hours power, speed and thrash metal live shows at their finest. Don't judge musicians by the videos (after all, you can do anything in videos these days), watch Lovebites live. Listen to the fans. Live musicians show what they can really do ...
For example : The Awakening The Hammer Of Wrath live Tokyo 2020 - Good luck
It is on the list to check out
Nicely written thank you. 🙂
The album will be released February 22.
I believe we have it down to get review copies next week and will post a video discussing the album a week or so before.
You earned an upvote. 😉 Glad you liked it. 🤘
Check out their live thrash stuff like Set the world on fire, break the wall, or Hammer of wrath
I know we will be doing a live video this coming week so we're looking forward to it
A belated welcome to the Wolf Pack!

Does that mean Andy won't die a happy man now?🤔
P.S. Andy, this is not a sports hall. Well, where did you see such a sports hall?🙄 This is the podium (stage). There are rows of seats for spectators on three sides. This arrangement is only in the halls for fashion shows. 😊
Andy's never a happy man lol
@@adkrockandmetal Well, today he didn't look as gloomy and categorical as during the reaction to "When Destinies Align". I hope he dies a happy man.🤭I am the person who explained to you in the comments the meaning of the MV "When Destinies Align" (Samurais , white dresses, etc. etc.)
@@GrayFox14 thanks again for the comments last time. We remembered the samurai but couldn't remember about the dresses
@@adkrockandmetal Ok, I can repeat. I liked Andy today. He even wrote down something in a notebook, like a diligent student. Maybe it will give Andy a different perspective on "When Destinies Align".
1. Of why Ladies Samurais
"When Destinies Align" ( lyrics -Asami / music - Miyako ) is a song about LOVEBITES .Originally Miyako (guitar, brunette) , who wrote the music, gave the name of this song - "Lovebites". When Asami (vocals ) wrote the lyrics, she wrote about the 5 members the band. The title was eventually changed to "When Destinies Align". In the MV the ladies look like Japanese samurai (clothes, armor, weapons). This has a deep meaning
Samurai code "Bushido" ( "The Way of the Warrior" ) states:
- "A samurai has no goal, there is only a path"
- “Be who you are, not who others want you to be”
LOVEBITES are ladies with the soul of a samurai.
Accordingly, the fans of the band began to call themselves "Wolf Pack"
Why ladies in white dresses at concerts and in the MV ?
- Their decision to wear all white is based on contrasting with their "old school" sound and making LOVEBITES stand out from other bands.
- All the ladies are short.
Haruna - drums (4'9"; 1.45m) , Asami - vocal (4'10"; 1.47m), Midori - guitar (4'11"; 1.5m), Miyako - guitar/piano (5'2"; 1.58m), Miho - bass (5'1"; 1.55m). They decided that white clothes make them more visible on the stage of the big hall.
- They want to stay feminine despite playing metal.🤗
LOVEBITES regularly update their wardrobe, but stage dresses are always white (with gold)
@@GrayFox14 awesome as always, thanks for the wonderful info
Wow, hold a grudge much!
Then I would recommend
* Holy War
* Set the world on fire
* Raise some hell
* The awakening / the hammer of wrath (two in one in 6 minutes)
* Break the wall
You get it - lots to listen to.

Has anyone ever told you guys you’re overthinking it?
Occasionally but we also feel like reactors should break down music and not just gloss over it. The artists put alot of time into the music so we want to truly understand what they were thinking and what there aim was when writing a song. For us the overthinking is actually trying to respect the artist more by understanding them better
I guess, to each their own.
LOVEBITES RULES!!!
Research, research, research chaps! Dont diss something you do not understand! Must watch these ladies live to even start realising this is the most talented metal band around right now. Live they will blow you're negative minds!

Stay safe. Stay Lovebites
Much better Andy!! 🤣
No puedes pedirle una critica constructiva y objetiva a alguien que solo esta encuadrado en un solo género., pero lo chistoso es si conoce a Mariana Carey o María. jajaja
The main question here is "can you do what these women can do?"
Unless you can, you shouldn't criticize and just limit your comments to saying you don't like the song.
Ganbatte kudasai Lovebites, Pakde ☺🤘🎸🙏
Lovebites are better in live performances, always better, so... The white dresses are for two reasons: 1° they are very small women and so in live are more visible and 2° the white is against the black conformism of the Metal!
White is in Japan as is black in western culture. Is the color you wear when someone dies.
Lovebites upcoming album should be their best yet. I love the solos. Miyako and Midori are two of the best guitarists out there and so fun to watch. I would suggest NOT watching Hagane's SuperVillan. It has a guitar solo that goes on and on, but I love it. Overall, I think you gave this one a positive and who knows the ladies might give this video a like.
new millennium…wear whatever but play better than the rest🤘🏽
its a reaction channel, and opinions are exactly that no problem. the problem begins when "heavy metal " is not your thing. you need to find something else to react to. you cant give honest reactions to something you know nothing about
Heavy metal is certainly our thing on a broad aspect. We all have and own several thousand cd's from many many heavy metal and hard rock bands. There are so many sub genres that you can't possibly like all of them.
Yeah, you guys are just a drag. No idea why I gave you guys a second chance.
Fair enough, thank you for atleast checking the video out, we appreciate it
