I'd seen the name Lovebites around, but I didn't listen to them until this past November... and I immediately started kicking myself for not starting sooner. The mix of talent and power and speed and beauty... wow. Then this song came out on Christmas with the new bassist and a touch of symphonic metal... perfection. Myoshi and Midori consistently put out some of the best dual guitar solos I've ever heard.

Yes, about 14 month has gone and much had happened since they last released a new song (Nameless warrior). Almost half year long audition to find a new bass player. Midori (blond guitarist) has begun a new hobby as she has trained (as you can see in the video) for bikini fitness competitions and has already gained some success there. Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her TH-cam channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. Amazing band! These Japanese rock/metal bands are incredibly talented! (Nemophila, Band-Maid, BabyMetal, etc). Recommended: "Thrill" (Official Music Video) by Band-Maid. (One of their earliest songs, and the one that thrust them into public attention and fame).
It's simply incredible how Lovebites can go an a hiatus, pausing for 1,5 years, 2 of them giving birth to kids, and then coming back with a bang and, imo, just easily being better than everything else that came out in the genre in the meantime. Absolutely amazing, can't wait for the new album in February 🤘🏻🙂

I'd listened to their stuff on occasion when I'd see a track show up on YT and go "oh yeah they're cool!" but they never came up that much otherwise. But this song has really been blowing up lately and I'm glad for them. Seems like whenever I get in the car in the last week, I'm hearing this track on XM.
I think that we all see Lovebites moving towards their own sound. They have showed their respect to their roots and influences in their previous work and this track (for me) sounds different. More like - now That`s what We are going to.
Fun fact: Midori is a competitive bodybuilder and shredded (look at her forearms). Biscute, Buonasera, this song is the Title cut from their new album. The next video release was Stand and Deliver (Shoot-em Down), not related to Adam Ant, LOL. And again, Fami (New Bassist) stands out. The video is excellent because it shows the human side of these magnificent artists. I will be watching for your reaction to it as well.

If you watch "Alien Alien" on her TH-cam channel, which was uploaded 4 years ago with 10,470,000 listens on her content, you will be amazed at her world-class slapping skills. With the addition of new bassist Fami, the trio Harmony Shredder has become a reality. Fami is a five-string bassist who can dance, sing, and play, and boasts 669,000 TH-cam subscribers. Fami is 20 years old with a cute smile. Fami will turn 21 on 1 June 2023.
I've been waiting for your reaction. Might as well type my feelings before even listening to your reaction, because I know it will be good. This is my favorite song, and not just by Lovebites. It's "perfect" if there is such a thing. Fami brings a new style of bass paying to the band, and with that came the chance of a different sound. This song is 100% Lovebites, and it has everything we have come to know and love about Lovebites. Yet, it seems like a little more than before. Asami's voice is the best I have heard her to date, and that includes the second song released (audio) from the album called "The Spirit Lives On". Haruna's cymbal/china work on this song is amazing. She uses her kit in its entirety. Midori who I call The Shredded Shredder now, ripped her fret board apart. Miyako got faster. She said she was working on her speed during hiatus, and it shows. Fami could be heard throughout. Multiple playing styles, working up and down, yet steady. The solo run in this song is the best I've heard. Fami's bass line changed with each handoff between Midori and Miyako. With each handoff, she got a little more creative. Personally, I love the drop/handoff from Midori's first solo to Miyako's. The tone got darker, and Fami really coupled with Miyako for an heavy beating sound. I personally feel that Fami is a better fit with Miyako & Midori, creating a three lead feel. I'll say it now, great reaction. If I'm wrong, I'll come back and say so, but I highly doubt that will happen. EDIT: I laughed as I thought you would stop after the solo run, but I think you were speechless. 😂Fami created a whole new layer of Lovebites sound in this song.
Sometimes I think it's kind of unfair for a single band to have two guitarists this good. And Midori looking so shredded! I do miss Miho, but Fami, the new bassist, is a great fit.

Hi Biss! I would like to recommend a true gem from 1977 called Hotel California. A classic from the Eagles. These guys have/had (Glenn Frey one of the founding members passed away in 2016) "unfair" amount of talent. They had many great songs and Eagles is one of the most succesful bands ever existed. Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her TH-cam channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. Amazing band! These Japanese rock/metal bands are incredibly talented! (Nemophila, Band-Maid, BabyMetal, etc).
Recommended: "Thrill" (Official Music Video) by Band-Maid. (One of their earliest songs, and the one that thrust them into public attention and fame).
It's simply incredible how Lovebites can go an a hiatus, pausing for 1,5 years, 2 of them giving birth to kids, and then coming back with a bang and, imo, just easily being better than everything else that came out in the genre in the meantime. Absolutely amazing, can't wait for the new album in February 🤘🏻🙂

I'd listened to their stuff on occasion when I'd see a track show up on YT and go "oh yeah they're cool!" but they never came up that much otherwise. I think that we all see Lovebites moving towards their own sound. They have showed their respect to their roots and influences in their previous work and this track (for me) sounds different. More like - now That`s what We are going to.
Fun fact: Midori is a competitive bodybuilder and shredded (look at her forearms). Biscute, Buonasera, this song is the Title cut from their new album. The next video release was Stand and Deliver (Shoot-em Down), not related to Adam Ant, LOL. And again, Fami (New Bassist) stands out. The video is excellent because it shows the human side of these magnificent artists. I will be watching for your reaction to it as well.

I've been waiting for your reaction. Might as well type my feelings before even listening to your reaction, because I know it will be good.
This is my favorite song, and not just by Lovebites. It's "perfect" if there is such a thing. Fami brings a new style of bass paying to the band, and with that came the chance of a different sound. This song is 100% Lovebites, and it has everything we have come to know and love about Lovebites. Yet, it seems like a little more than before.
Asami's voice is the best I have heard her to date, and that includes the second song released (audio) from the album called "The Spirit Lives On".
Haruna's cymbal/china work on this song is amazing. She uses her kit in its entirety.
Midori who I call The Shredded Shredder now, ripped her fret board apart.
Miyako got faster. She said she was working on her speed during hiatus, and it shows.
Fami could be heard throughout. Multiple playing styles, working up and down, yet steady.
The solo run in this song is the best I've heard. Fami's bass line changed with each handoff between Midori and Miyako. With each handoff, she got a little more creative. Personally, I love the drop/handoff from Midori's first solo to Miyako's. The tone got darker, and Fami really coupled with Miyako for an heavy beating sound. I personally feel that Fami is a better fit with Miyako & Midori, creating a three lead feel.
I'll say it now, great reaction. If I'm wrong, I'll come back and say so, but I highly doubt that will happen.
EDIT: I laughed as I thought you would stop after the solo run, but I think you were speechless. 😂Fami created a whole new layer of Lovebites sound in this song.

Sometimes I think it's kind of unfair for a single band to have two guitarists this good. And Midori looking so shredded! I do miss Miho, but Fami, the new bassist, is a great fit.

Hi Biss! I would like to recommend a true gem from 1977 called Hotel California. A classic from the Eagles. These guys have/had (Glenn Frey one of the founding members passed away in 2016) "unfair" amount of talent. They had many great songs and Eagles is one of the most succesful bands ever existed. Hotel California is a song that every guitar player knows because of the solos and the duet at the end is legendary.
