The Dubious Volley or Wardcliff Coil was a huge deal when it finally came out in Destiny 2! The weapon was in the files forever, anyways, hope you enjoyed!

“It’s just like the alpha lupi mystery” what the hell is the alpha lupi mystery?
There is multiple crests is alpha lupi a titan or a hunter
There's a symbol called the Alpha Lupi Array. It was in OG pre-release Destiny stuff, but also in stuff relating to the Nine (you can see it in Reckoning and Prophecy, and it's referenced in Lumina's lore tab). Ward cliff coil was always in d1, it was in the files of the game since taken king launched, no one know how to get it or even if it was ever going to be introduced. It used to be called the "dubious volley"
Isn't that what the exotic perk is called on the Wardcliff? I could be very wrong tho
@@mint_659 I think so, that's where it was connected, I remember at the start of d2 when people got it to drop and read the perk and knew this was what was meant to be the gun from the taken king

Now that you mention it... imagine if Bungie actually added a 6th chest to the Vault of glass when they remaster it for Destiny2? I'd imagine it could be datamined or otherwise found almost immediately with the community's fascination with the subject.
Not Tzeentch I'm pretty sure the secret chest you get from shooting Oracles in The Whisper is the 6th chest.

they did add a secret 6th chest in the age of triumph vog, it would appear at the end of the jumping puzzle before atheon
It'd be amazing if they actually added a secret obtained via the Oracles and the Alpha Lupi puzzle. Though the puzzle finally being solved might ruin it, cause I can't think of a prize that'd live up to the effort.

One spicy Kebob there’s no way it’s not coming back if they’re bringing the most popular content from D1, I guarantee it’s coming with the Witch Queen expansion along with the dreadnaught as a patrol zone
@@skinnymulligan5210 Have the true Witch Queen DLC Raid, then add King's Fall revamped as well, and tweak Crota's End for the dungeon, or have Crota's End be the revamp raid in the expansion/season prior.
This reminds of something in D2. On Titan there are these hive eggs with glyphs... when you shoot them you get a hit marker, or they’ll disintegrate, or both. There are also occasionally golden hive worms that can spawn, which glow, unlike the regular ones. I and some others thought this was a secret puzzle, but no. It was just environmental dressing and fun little secrets. Sometimes a fun Easter egg is just that, and nothing more.
Byf may chronicle the lore of destiny, but Evan chronicles the lore of the destiny community. Beautiful.

I would not be surprised if the crazy lengths players went through to figure out the basket ball court of Oryx is probably what inspired Bungie to make the Outbreak Prime quest in Rise of Iron as complex as they did.

I don't play Destiny but I enjoy the mysteries associated with it. It reminds me of Banjo Kazooie and the Stop N Swop item mystery back in 1998-2001 when everyone was trying to work out how to get the secret areas to open.

After spending over 3 weeks in there (worth of actual time) I can confidently say there was one piece of legendary gear you couldn’t find elsewhere in the raid. It wasn’t great and I stopped using it after a bit but something IS in there

I miss the dreadnought so much, I wish they would bring back the dreadnought and do something a little different but something with Kings fall path. That was my all-time favorite raid maybe because it was my first. But that was the raid that introduced me to multiplayer online and hard mode outside of solo games. Not to mention oryx gave me nightmares when I was first introduced to him in that raid, Good times

I already knew the story of the basketball court, but honestly the thing that kept me watching afterward was the use of hollow knighr music.

I know I’m late (I’m a D1 and early D2 player and just started again a couple of months ago) but the work that had to be put in to open that room and the things you can see and do in the room, no way was it just a basketball court. It makes me think they originally intended to somehow attach an exotic to it but decided they were so close to the end of D1 that they would save the gun for D2
