Considering I'm already used to Izzy rotations with ALH Rockets, having a LFR version would be pretty nice to have, my 6/5 would probably be to have both Rewind and ALH paired with B&S, though having an Envious/Reservoir Burst roll for Nightfalls would be pretty nice as well since that's upfront damage that will explode things around the target. Also I have to say it, but please don't use Carl for actual damage comparison testing, he's a miniboss so numbers are going to get skewed as a lot of weapons will tend to do more damage to minibosses than a full boss, so that's why you were getting weird numbers in the Izzy comparisons. (The Bay of Drowned Wishes actually has a full boss at the end and is pretty easy to get to at least, not sure if there's a better one.)
Ok so it wasn't only me who was slightly irked because I was more surprised Datto was so confidently saying "Firing line 20% damage buff" in his explanation napkin math when it specifically is only *Precision damage* that is getting buffed which starts to cut into a lot of real life application, appeal, methodology and more importantly realistic output. Bait and Switch is going to be the better move in all of this. Now I know no Destiny player has ever missed a shot keeping everything optimized and sake of argument a boss like the Witness is a super generous bullseye where you don't need Div, BUT this is still a 3 burst LFR and you still will have moments of needing to move in the fight where you might not get your full burst off as all precision damage and that can really make something like Bait and Switch a lot more appealing. Gotta remember 3 bursts can be weird sometimes and if bosses or the game's ravioli code doesn't cooperate nicely, that's damage you're dropping. I think one of the best examples of this where things can be a toss up is how back when it was new content and LFRs were stronger, Briar's+another RoN Weapon to proc the origin against Ghost of Deep final boss could lead to one of the stronger solo player damage cycles physically possible BUT the entire thing was contingent on landing your entire mag and most specifically the 3 shots of that burst absolutely perfect which was way easier said than done.
I love 3 burst linears, they feel the best to me and the fact its strand to pair with the call AND i dont have to use envious makes it a must get for me. Got an auto/bait that i like, hoping for rewind/bait and that'll be sick!
Something to keep in mind is that you can get a roll with envious and cornered in the first column with surrounded in the second making it a really good option for Golgoroth and Oryx even in LFG teams as long as you remember to switch to cornered for damage.
As a high level player I’d also go for Rewind Rounds, that combo with veist stinger just kinda is too good not too go for. With envious you can’t get veist to proc because since the mag is overflown, it’s not gonna put any rounds in the mag
6.7 mil damage for warlords ruin final boss last night using slice bait and switch adept scinny. Cuz i cant spell it off the top of my head. Slice is super helpful datto.
I had actually gotten in the depth rewind rounds and bait and switch compo and I was so excited that I immediately went to delete my non adept versions of the gun to overcome and in my frenzy I actually deleted that very roll. I was so mad.
I won’t lie to you. I think auto losing and bait and switch is much better. Everytime you need to re proc bait and switch. You run out of ammo. Shoot your secondary. Shoot your primary. Swap yo scintillation. And it’s reloaded. And you have bait and switch again. It just works so well. Yes envious and rewind rounds are also good. But tbh I love the auto loading rotation. I would also say. Grab a scintillation. That way you have a good linear in every element. Real good strand linear.
i ran it once today and got fluted barrel, ionized battery, rewind rounds, and firing line. for having taken sucha long break from destiny, my luck is kinda insane LOL just need an adept mod for this bad boy now
I have a Line in the Sand with clown cartridge and bait and switch as my first drop of this weapon and I can have up to 22 rounds in the magazine. Calculating the numbers going off of DPS to The Witness I did, it comes out to 3.324 Million DPS with all 22 of the total 24 shots i have total being able to get the buff of Bait and Switch
I wanna grab one because it's strand :> it's nice to have one weapon of each flavor at least, that way you can run monochromatic with surges on your boots or otherwise synergize with your class verbs, like destabilizing rounds or unravelling rounds
I don’t normally bother with the GMs because I find them a hassle, but I wanted one of these, so I did a run. I got Bait and Switch and Rewind. Pretty happy with that, though I would prefer firing line for raid bosses.
Me, going into Glassway on the lowest difficulty: "well i dont have long to do it and im bored so i might as well try it" Me, half an hour into my first run because I got matched with less than competent fellas: "theres no way this is gonna be worth it" Me, getting a god roll on my first completion: "it was so worth it"
With double perks you can overfill with envious then switch to Rewind before dps phase. At worst it’s an extra 7 in the mag before you have to worry about RR/VS.
Might as well just stick to Rewind at that point. It loads from reserves so if you're just front loading your reserve into your mag with Envious then Rewind and Veist both are essentially dead perks.
I ran the GM twice today... got ENV/REWIND + B&S - as well as a REWIND + Firing Line. Both with Arrowhead and Enh Battery... I just blew all my luck on a weapon type I never use.
I got all those rolls within 2 runs. It was incredible. Even the bizzare envious wkrh resivior burst. Except rewind and firing line. But thsts ok. Envious and firing ine and auto and firing line works for me
idk if it was a strange bug when lightfall came out or just a unique interaction, but i actually saw rewind rounds overflow the neomuna LMG to double capacity when i slayed out during the (lightfall) campaign by reloading with Thread of Ascent+Grapple canceling
that 2% dmg you lose with envious and res....what if you add the liquid coils adding 2%more to the dmg? i ended up getting one with liquid coils, envious and res, while i think envious will be a bit easy to do considering you dont use your heavy until encounter i think that is the best way to go. u just have to make sure you switch to your heavy once in a while
Carl still gets 15% extra damage from kinetic weapons, while Phyrzia does not. The enclave is just weird like that, you can never take anything at face value there
Ngl prismatic consecration Titan build is probably the most broken thing I've ever seen in this GM. Just wipes out entire rooms with a couple of slams and is extremely tanky like I be running in the middle of boss room slamming left a right just fine. You don't even need a stun most of the time because it fucking one shots everything even bosses lmao. The most fun I've had farming in a loooong time and very fast too (13-15m runs)
TLDR: if you need a good lfr, it’s a good lfr. If you have a good lfr, this is about as good as the others. If you have all the others, this one isn’t all that necessary.

I still firmly believe an envious/reservoir is on par/roughly the same as the rewind/BNS roll. Don't need to reload, most dmg phases will end before you shoot your 15 shots of reservoir burst. Then you go back to re upping the envious before next dmg phase. It's not too hard to count kills, though whats the exact clarification on if you get 6 special kills, then switch to scintillation, and then proc the next stack of envious? Does that 6th kill ruin the chance for the next envious stack??
I'd just get both. With the double drops at the moment its quite easy to farm this one, and I'd prefer an ALH/B&S one for solo/duo content like master lost sectors and dual destiny, and probably GMs as well, and then RR/FL for stuff like Dungeons and Raids., just for ease of use and because proc'ing something like B&S during Witness damage phase is a pain in the ass.
I got a rapid hit, bns. Thats good enough for me. Still doin nightfalls this week because one day ill get a positive outlook with zen moment, kill clip

This is kinda the problem in the game at large: Besides Crucible and GAMBIT, of all places, every other activity is like, "Yeah, you do 274,683 per shot, while 16 AoE effects are going off." Cool, dude, literally WHAT does that mean? I cannot mentally track the size and cadence of our current damage numbers outside of Gambit where I'm like, oh, nice, I hit a big shot there...

Accelerated coils and Charge time masterwork reduces charge time by 40ms and reduce impact by 2%. Liquid coil does the opposite. Adept Charge time masterwork is a pure 40ms faster charge time.
Can you only get it from GM’s? Or any nightfall difficulty? I’d just rather play the matchmaking mode as opposed to a GM farm this early in the season lmao

@bigdh9193 slice doesnt. But its a debuff causing the enemy to take more damage and it also severs. I did state i used bait and switch as well

The best adept roll that i got so far, is an adept Rewind/Surrounded

I have a Stormchaser with firing line and auto loading holster. I wouldn’t mind getting this linear also gms are usually fun. I’ll give it a shot.

to be honest rewind firing line was the roll i settled on wanting to farm for as soon as I saw the rolls. mainly because im lazy though

The giga god roll is envious surrounded with a cornered swap. It becomes a double damage perk linear for bosses where surrounded works.

You can get non-adept version from master difficulty. adept version is only from GM.

Loot was never bugged on warlocks. Only reputation gains. Ran the gm like 10 times and got doubles every time.
Warlocks get double loot just not double rep. Loot works, Rep is still bugged.
