The love of Jesus will wear a little thin when you have to endure an eternity of living in that Dire, Drab, Dreary, Dismal, Disappointing and Depressing place called Heaven, be careful of what you wish for, Heaven will be worse than Hell. After you have settled into your new mansion in Heaven there are a few things to consider, first there is no sin and no temptation, there can be no sex because sex leads to temptation and sin, Earthly desires will not exist, no sex = no new children, the joys and dramas of children for young couples will be lost, everything will be pure, that means all books, TV, movies, plays etc. will have no crime, no sex, no sin, nothing irreligious at all. Entertainment cannot exist without these elements, imagine the Daily News, "Nothing happened at all today, everybody was happy, we all prayed, tune in tomorrow for more of the same" Of course there will be bible reading classes but after 100 years of these it would drive a person to drink, DRINK? sorry no alcohol in Heaven because booze leads to sin, fighting etc. There are no politics in Heaven, politics leads to dissension and unhappiness, Jesus makes all the decisions and you cannot disagree or question any of his decisions, Everybody in Heaven is deliriously happy and they all get along with each other, what seems perfectly right to one person cannot be an affront to another otherwise there would be disagreement, disagreement leads to violence. Any arguments would be adjudicated by Jesus and the person at fault, unless he/she admitted their error, and begged forgiveness, would be banished to Hell. No sport in Heaven, sport is always full of controversy and conflict so no sport allowed, even a friendly non gambling game of poker could lead to problems. All those happy people in Heaven will continue to be happy for eternity, forever, perpetuity without any of the sinful activities that tempted them when they lived in the world. THINGS THAT WILL NOT EXIST IN HEAVEN - Sin and temptation, sex, new children, books, TV, movies, plays, alcohol, any stimulants, politics, disagreements, sport, pets. Of course there is always gardening, that is harmless but after 500 years or so this activity would become a little wearing, Tending the sheep? sorry no animals in Heaven, people only keep animals for food, warmth and companionship, everything in Heaven is provided by God, food, clothes etc. and if you were permitted to keep companion animals sooner or later these would bring you into conflict with neighbors and this won`t be tolerated in Heaven. No fights, no wars and everybody is happy sitting down, weaving their baskets and singing hymns for eternity, what a wonderful future Christians look forward to and I am really sorry that I`m headed for Hell, WAIT UP ! ! Hell seems a far better option than Heaven, at least there would be some action and humor down there and I don’t believe Satan is such a bad guy. WHAT HAVE YOU GOT YOURSELVES INTO ? ? ?

If it was like that in Heaven there wouldn't have been the fall. The idea that you'll be like a zombie, feeling & thinking about nothing is simply ridiculous. They'll know all about your Earthly actions, behaviour, thoughts & desires. That's why in Heaven, individuals will still posses their memories & free will. No one is guaranteed a permanent place in Heaven, God doesn't want mindless people singing his praises. Thing's have to be real, praise has to be genuine, love has to be meaningful, that's why God created us in his image.

Sorry about your loss, but if Jesus took your brother as you said then that voids the resurrection at John 5:28,29. When Jesus friend Lazarus died he simply said he was sleeping and that’s what death is liken to a deep sleep until the resurrection.
But what of the thief on the cross? Luke 23:43 "TODAY you will be with me in paradise." I think it's fair to say God will do what He pleases. As we see an example of in Romans 9:15. It does say "Verily I say unto you, Today you shall be with me in Paradise" If you take it at face value - you would be correct in your statement. But think about this. Jesus was not in "Paradise" THAT day. Truth, he was in the tomb 3 days and 3 nights. So knowing that fact, the thief could not have been with Christ that day. Instead, move the comma where it should be. "Verily I say unto you today, you shall be with me in paradise...". Meaning, he was telling him that day that when Christ returns he will be with him in his kingdom after the great white throne judgement. This man is in the grave and is 'sleeping' until the resurrections. Same as the thief on the cross.

The body will wait for the new body when Christ comes. What about in Luke 16 where two people die and went on different place? Their soul does not lie in the physical grave.
Unfortunately, that is the attitude that is killing the earth, which is truly our only home. If you do not feel invested in the here-and-now of this place, then you tend to be careless with it and abusive to it. You don't care about the destructive things we do to our home because you believe there is another place we will go after we die where our actions will have no consequences.

I was pronounced dead , after the paramedics tried to revive me for over 45 minutes. No pulse, no heartbeat, no breath, no muscle movement. Their EKG machine in the ambulance flat lined. My brother who is a Pastor, told them to take me to the hospital and hook me up to a ventilator. They said I had no brain activity. But they did what he said as a Pastor. I remember floating through darkness with no pain or pressure, a door opened up and a smal girl with flowers came through the door inviting me in. I floated toward the light through the door and saw the most beautiful people, and the surroundings were like a new earth would look like. There was no pressure on me, I felt light and happy. The people were reaching up to me and inviting me to a Dance, the marriage supper of the Lamb. I was so happy in my spirit. As I was going down, I felt something grab my ankles and I screamed. I woke up and I was on the ventalator with nurses tending to me. Not even the doctor who is very religious pentecostal who knew me, could believe I was alive. Heaven is real and you will never value anything on this earth once you see it. Ask Paul, ask James, ask John.

I held on to imagine life in Paradise, I imagined having friends who will LOVE ME, and spend time in my house by the eadge of the river Bank in a very thick forest. I wish I could go there but I physically cannot love God I can’t force myself to I want to but I can’t love someone I’ve never seen or met and I’ve had a hard life and prayers don’t seem to get answered. I used to be scared about doing the same thing forever. But I found out a way to describe it. First, we are outside of space and time, so there really is no time to worry about it, and God takes away all that worry that we have, and he lets us always feel joy, love, compassion, and excitement like we have never felt before. kinda like that nostalgic happy feeling we get when we remember our childhood, but amplified by a million. The best moments of our Earthly lives cannot describe the ultimate feeling we will have. Like a small flame compared to the sun, there is just no comparison. Also we get so much joy from just worshiping and praising the almighty father. I just pray I can break free from my sin, and he shows me mercy. Obviously these are just earthly ways to describe it, no one truly knows until we get there. But when we do, I am sure it will be the absolute most best, perfect place and state of being ever
People describe Heaven how they want it to be & that's mostly like that Christmas morning feeling from when you were a child but on perfect summer day. No worries, no responsibilities, no aches & pains surrounded by their families & they're all sitting at Jesus's feet listening to his teachings. Sadly though, that's a fantasy invented by millions of people again & again to sugar coat the fear that accompanies the fact that like everybody else they're gonna die. If God made us in his image, there has to be more than the above description of Heaven.

I'm 64 now. And I realize that I have more years behind me than in front of me. I have never lived for God. I always lived for myself, and still God has given me more chances than I deserve. So many times, I shouldn't have made it. And even as I type this, I still don't feel I deserve God's mercy or grace. I've accepted Jesus Christ as my savior, and I do love and thank my Christ for shedding his blood for my terrible sins. But I've never experienced that hallelujah feeling people talk about when they are saved. I just pray and ask others for their prayers that God will show me grace when my life is over. I would be happy just to have a little corner in heaven and sit by a creek or pond with a cane pole. And worship my lord and savior. And be able to talk to all the old saints of God. May God have mercy on my soul.❤
If you follow the scriptures then you wouldnt have lived just lived for yourself. You cant be perfect and God does not expect that but he expects you to try. Just like a good parent expects from his children

Here on TH-cam you can find many fine Christian preachers - look up sermons on joy and listen to them. Open your Bible to great passages in which the wonderful promises of God are written. And for heaven’s sake (pun intended!) take your eyes off the promise of the world - the great lie that materialism can bring happiness. As the Apostle Paul did so magnificently, learn the secret of contentment in all circumstances!

The images are breathtaking and the fact that we will be continually learning, growing, worshipping, becoming more intimate with the Lord and having a family that is our true one made me cry tears of joy. No, we belong HERE, on Earth. This is what God created for us, this is where He placed Adam and Eve. After they handed the keys to satan, Jesus came back to reclaim it for Himself and us again. When Jesus returns, He gathers His saints to Him at that time to establish His Kingdom here, where He will reign for all eternity. Jesus said to Occupy until HE comes. We don't come to Him, He comes to us. Read the book of Revelation, it's crystal clear, we don't spend eternity up in Heaven, God establishes His Kingdom and throne here for all eternity. When Jesus took back the keys for good, Satan knew he couldn't take them back, but he knew he could trick us into surrendering the earth through this passive escapism deception. Just get all the Christians to look up and ignore this Earth, waiting to be taken "home" to a place that isn't actually our home. The difference between that mindset and Christ's actual command to occupy until He comes is exemplified by how He was able to take a rag tag group of 12 disciples and build His church in the midst of the Roman Empire, but modern Christians took a nation founded by God and turned it into the Roman Empire.

Living daily, Spiritual warfare IS REAL & it takes everything I have to stay focused on Jesus, while nothing else seems to ever go right. The joy of the Lord is my strength & the fact that no matter how bad it gets, He continues to provide for me. An image is only ever an image. What picture or painting has ever truly captured the enormity of the Grand Canyon? What video has ever captured the call of an emu? Those who have experienced firsthand the Grand Canyon can attest to the staggering sensation of such an expanse. I myself nearly fell over just trying to take in its great size. An emus deep voice can be heard through a phone, yes, but what you don’t experience is the rattle of your chest and brain. It’s so deep and resonating it’s disorienting. The love of Jesus will wear a little thin when you have to endure an eternity of living in that Dire, Drab, Dreary, Dismal, Disappointing and Depressing place called Heaven, be careful of what you wish for, Heaven will be worse than Hell.
After you have settled into your new mansion in Heaven there are a few things to consider, first there is no sin and no temptation, there can be no sex because sex leads to temptation and sin, Earthly desires will not exist, no sex = no new children, the joys and dramas of children for young couples will be lost, everything will be pure, that means all books, TV, movies, plays etc. will have no crime, no sex, no sin, nothing irreligious at all.
Entertainment cannot exist without these elements, imagine the Daily News, "Nothing happened at all today, everybody was happy, we all prayed, tune in tomorrow for more of the same" Of course there will be bible reading classes but after 100 years of these it would drive a person to drink, DRINK? sorry no alcohol in Heaven because booze leads to sin, fighting etc.
There are no politics in Heaven, politics leads to dissension and unhappiness, Jesus makes all the decisions and you cannot disagree or question any of his decisions, Everybody in Heaven is deliriously happy and they all get along with each other, what seems perfectly right to one person cannot be an affront to another otherwise there would be disagreement, disagreement leads to violence.
Any arguments would be adjudicated by Jesus and the person at fault, unless he/she admitted their error, and begged forgiveness, would be banished to Hell. No sport in Heaven, sport is always full of controversy and conflict so no sport allowed, even a friendly non gambling game of poker could lead to problems. All those happy people in Heaven will continue to be happy for eternity, forever, perpetuity without any of the sinful activities that tempted them when they lived in the world.
THINGS THAT WILL NOT EXIST IN HEAVEN - Sin and temptation, sex, new children, books, TV, movies, plays, alcohol, any stimulants, politics, disagreements, sport, pets. Of course there is always gardening, that is harmless but after 500 years or so this activity would become a little wearing, Tending the sheep? sorry no animals in Heaven, people only keep animals for food, warmth and companionship, everything in Heaven is provided by God, food, clothes etc. and if you were permitted to keep companion animals sooner or later these would bring you into conflict with neighbors and this won`t be tolerated in Heaven.
No fights, no wars and everybody is happy sitting down, weaving their baskets and singing hymns for eternity, what a wonderful future Christians look forward to and I am really sorry that I`m headed for Hell, WAIT UP ! ! It does say "Verily I say unto you, Today you shall be with me in Paradise" If you take it at face value - you would be correct in your statement. But think about this. Jesus was not in "Paradise" THAT day. Truth, he was in the tomb 3 days and 3 nights. So knowing that fact, the thief could not have been with Christ that day. Instead, move the comma where it should be. "Verily I say unto you today, you shall be with me in paradise...". Meaning, he was telling him that day that when Christ returns he will be with him in his kingdom after the great white throne judgement. This man is in the grave and is 'sleeping' until the resurrections. Same as the thief on the cross.

I was pronounced dead , after the paramedics tried to revive me for over 45 minutes. No pulse, no heartbeat, no breath, no muscle movement. Their EKG machine in the ambulance flat lined. My brother who is a Pastor, told them to take me to the hospital and hook me up to a ventilator. They said I had no brain activity. But they did what he said as a Pastor. I remember floating through darkness with no pain or pressure, a door opened up and a smal girl with flowers came through the door inviting me in. I floated toward the light through the door and saw the most beautiful people, and the surroundings were like a new earth would look like. There was no pressure on me, I felt light and happy. The people were reaching up to me and inviting me to a Dance, the marriage supper of the Lamb. I was so happy in my spirit. As I was going down, I felt something grab my ankles and I screamed. I woke up and I was on the ventalator with nurses tending to me. Not even the doctor who is very religious pentecostal who knew me, could believe I was alive. Heaven is real and you will never value anything on this earth once you see it. Ask Paul, ask James, ask John.

I used to be scared about doing the same thing forever. But I found out a way to describe it. First, we are outside of space and time, so there really is no time to worry about it, and God takes away all that worry that we have, and he lets us always feel joy, love, compassion, and excitement like we have never felt before. kinda like that nostalgic happy feeling we get when we remember our childhood, but amplified by a million. The best moments of our Earthly lives cannot describe the ultimate feeling we will have. Like a small flame compared to the sun, there is just no comparison. Also we get so much joy from just worshiping and praising the almighty father. I just pray I can break free from my sin, and he shows me mercy. Obviously these are just earthly ways to describe it, no one truly knows until we get there. But when we do, I am sure it will be the absolute most best, perfect place and state of being ever

If God made us in his image, there has to be more than the above description of Heaven.

I'm 64 now. And I realize that I have more years behind me than in front of me. I have never lived for God. I always lived for myself, and still God has given me more chances than I deserve. So many times, I shouldn't have made it. And even as I type this, I still don't feel I deserve God's mercy or grace. I've accepted Jesus Christ as my savior, and I do love and thank my Christ for shedding his blood for my terrible sins. But I've never experienced that hallelujah feeling people talk about when they are saved.
I just pray and ask others for their prayers that God will show me grace when my life is over. I would be happy just to have a little corner in heaven and sit by a creek or pond with a cane pole. And worship my lord and savior. And be able to talk to all the old saints of God. May God have mercy on my soul.❤

The difference between that mindset and Christ's actual command to occupy until He comes is exemplified by how He was able to take a rag tag group of 12 disciples and build His church in the midst of the Roman Empire, but modern Christians took a nation founded by God and turned it into the Roman Empire.

I once had a dream years ago I was in heaven. It's unimaginably beautiful, beyond description. There's a peace there that is nothing like on Earth. After my dream ended, and I woke up, and I thought, what am I doing here? I want to go back to this place I visited.
Friend, let the desire of going back to that place fuel you to share the Gospel, so that so many more can share that eternity with you!

Years ago back in the 80’s I dreamed of a majestic city floating above in the clouds, hadn’t forgotten that dream since then, and now, upon looking at these videos, I saw a similar image in this video,I was blown away 😮

An image is only ever an image. What picture or painting has ever truly captured the enormity of the Grand Canyon? What video has ever captured the call of an emu?
Those who have experienced firsthand the Grand Canyon can attest to the staggering sensation of such an expanse. I myself nearly fell over just trying to take in its great size.
An emus deep voice can be heard through a phone, yes, but what you don’t experience is the rattle of your chest and brain. It’s so deep and resonating it’s disorienting.
So what is this wonderful portrait and words to what we can possibly imagine and feel of heaven? I can only use images of this fallen and beautiful world- which will ultimately fall utterly short of Gods full creative force.

I love that I will be well enough to work everyday and I love learning so I am going to be in bliss in Heaven. I get to do it all with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Oh yes! This is what I want more than anything. This world holds my family and my precious husband and I pray they will be going with me to Heaven
