They aren't even fully trained and have years and years of experience. No one is perfect at singing at first, it all comes down to training and practicing. They are just kids back then, I see that having excuses is normal since they are terribly bad but that doesn't mean that they were destined to be. They didn't get as much as experience, if they do then it wouldn't be for you too judge their vocals. Girl with yellow shirt and girl with mercy shirt and the girl with yellow skirt is just ughh. They were bad really bad. I don’t stan fromis 9 but their group seem to be doing fine with Love Bomb. But This shit was bad. Too much aegyo. Off beat dancing. Tearrible high pitch singing it literal gave me anxiety. I rarely press the dislike button but who cares it was damn bad.
Only the girl at 0:59 or 1:20 is in the final group and she improved seriously a lot so don't worry, Fromis_9 members are really talented and well rounded lmao. But yeah this was awful. Plus the song choice was seriously the worst. Rookie is a really tricky song. Might sound cute and easy at first but it's like one of the hardest Red Velvet songs to pull off (tbh all RV songs are tho lol) as it really doesn't need any cutesy.

One trainee from the show, Jessica Lee exposed that most of the reactions are fake. They were asked to react to a blank screen. And interviews are recorded for hours, as the producers won’t let you go before you say what they wanted

She's the closest person- not just in this group- but the closest person i've ever seen to nailing Rookie concept aside from Red Velvet. She could be an idol. This live is a whole new level of bad. Not only were they like half a beat late in singing to practically half the song, but they were stiff and awkward, had unnatural tones, couldn't hit the notes properly... especially the girl in yellow. Good god who let her do Seulgi's part? She can't follow a beat to save her life! I thought the beginning was bad enough when the "yeah" left her mouth, but I didn't think her sense of rhythm would be all over the place too. Most of the girls here have many improvements to make, especially the girl in the yellow shirt who should have been eliminated by now.

This live is a whole new level of bad. Not only were they like half a beat late in singing to practically half the song, but they were stiff and awkward, had unnatural tones, couldn't hit the notes properly... especially the girl in yellow. Good god who let her do Seulgi's part? She can't follow a beat to save her life! I thought the beginning was bad enough when the "yeah" left her mouth, but I didn't think her sense of rhythm would be all over the place too. Most of the girls here have many improvements to make, especially the girl in the yellow shirt who should have been eliminated by now.
