Pinweld - A Plastic Welding Technology Insight

A short video to introduce the Pinweld plastic welding technology. It shows a series of clips covering the development of the Dynamic Plastic Deformation Welding (DPDW) technology including the AI controls and weld testing at TWI Ltd in Cambridgeshire. As the system ‘learns’ a new plastic type it pulls from its libraries to enhance the weld quality and optimise the joint parameters as chosen by the product designer.
