ispumpkinking not all western females are the same as this little girl was, most of us actually wear cloths out the house and most of us if we had to go to court would wear a suit or something to show respect and like we don’t just throw on the first item we found out of a rag draw, don’t tar everyone with the same brush, everyone is different not all the same, it’s like saying all one type of people r the same it’s just not true, God bless to u and your family too, Kate x

I think instead of taking the easy dig at her clothing, it's even more notable how non-judgemental the judge is, treats everyone with respect and decency whether homeless or dressed differently - he sees the heart of the person.
Thanks for being a human example of what we believe God to be like sir ❤️

It’s a court of law. Obviously this person is not homeless. I would kick her out of my courtroom if I was a judge in a second. You can dress however you want in your private life but if a courtroom show some respect.

He got played by two manipulative females. You could never go to a job interview dressed like that. Wedding, funeral, certain churches, schools, etc. Come on there’s standards in certain places to show respect. She came in hard with a chip on her shoulder. Doesn’t mean a person is judge-mental if they comment on how she is dressed in a court house. Otherwise, if that’s the case then next time she can be naked at his court house. I’m sure if you had kids you would never let them go to a court house dressed like that. Ask yourself why that is? This judge even told this girl “you got a chip on your shoulder.” Sure she has been hurt somewhere along the line. I wouldn’t want my daughter bringing negative attention to herself if this was my kid. There’s laws and regulations you have to follow. This judge is awesome but he really lets some people off too easy (aside from her clothing). Even God disciplines His children. These girls didn’t learn anything here. Except knowing how to manipulate a nice judge. I also do not believe for a second her friend doesn’t speak English. He got played, plain and simple. These girls remind me of the friends I had back in the day.

I really have a lot of respect for this judge!! He didn't judge her by her appearance and hold it against her like 99.9% of the judges would. Also, he was intelligent enough to "read her right" and understand that she comes off different from what she thinks she projects! Hats off to you Judge.

@Spawn Her dressing should be none of yours or anybodies concern.
Her moving is annoying but should also be none of your business. The judge was spot on to analyze this correctly.
I bet you would give her life, just for beeing annoying to you.
When I think about it, that is most often the case in americas justice system, that some powerhungry judge sentence just because of appearance.

I agree, that was not the best way to describe her manner. But she definitely had an attitude and she wasn't aware of it. She said the police had an attitude and she didn't realize how badly she came across. It's called projecting.
I hope she did take his words on board but I'm afraid she might have forgotten everything in the second she stepped out that courtroom and laughed at the judge who she (thought she) tricked so easily.

I really appreciate Judge Caprio's demeanor and attitude. He is always _very_ fair and gives people breaks even when sometimes they may not deserve it. In this particular case though, I have to disagree with his assessment of the girl acting as the translator when he said that she comes across as having a bad attitude but she really doesn't. He recognizes that she _doesn't_ have a bad attitude, yet told her that she comes off that way. After watching her, she was mostly just smiling and laughing *along with the judge.* He was also acting in a jovial manor, so I don't know why he would think she is coming off as having a bad attitude. I thought she was very respectful, not wanting to escalate the situation with the officer in question, so she just followed his instruction to move her car, even when the judge jokingly asked her if she threatened the officer. I think Judge Caprio misread this young lady because to me, she didn't have an attitude at all.

there also was zero attitude. Straight ignorance be intimidated over clothes and makeup. Yeah ppl usually dress differently but she not on trail and clearly no dress code so not illegal. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I can tell this is not Parking Court in Buffalo NY. In Buffalo they thank you for coming, pronounce you guilty, then pay the lady. Doesn't take nearly this long.
