Sounding great, Ralph!! I played Bob Reeve's mouthpieces for years and years. They literally made it possible for me to be a working trumpet player. I would run a 43S with a standard backbore (#2) and then for more "legit" work, I used the same rim with what would be, I guess, Bob''s version of a Bach 3C underpart. (Only better!)
Wow! Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to put this video together to share our shop with the world! It was an honor for us to have you visit all the way from NJ.
Very interesting. I actually went the other direction. On my Reeves 43C, I replaced the standard 43 rim with a 43N (narrow) rim, which is flatter and has a bit more bite.
Thanks for sharing that. It's always fun to see what other people are playing but everyone is different. What is great for one person is useless to another. Regardless of price.
Great choice , I use the same setup 43WS/69 for big band, 43WES/69 for lead/commercial and 43WC2J for small combo . You can miss with a Reeves stuff!!!
I picked up a few Bob Reeves Purviance mouthpieces. 9A, 9F, and 9 How can I tell if they are orginal and not made later. I also have a Jermone callet V.F DT 7 if you have any info about that one I would appreciate it. Thanks
That's some interesting numbers on the valley mouthpiece. If I find out anything about it I'll let you no.. a company' bought out the Jerome valley line of mouthpieces. I'll get back to you with the name of the company

Thanks for the feedback. I like to know what what other professionals think.
