There are a few performance issues that are noticeable in this episode, but I made adjustments and hopefully it's a much smoother experience for the next one.
I didn't even get past loading shaders crashed. Booted in 4k by default my rig is 6 years old and definitely not 4k capable. So I won't be playing but I'm gonna keep up with your playthrough if I can.

I found out that’s why I was having massive performance issues. It kept trying to run my screens at 4k 😂 but I have my screen set up weird so they both kept switching to 4k and my PC was just not happy about that.
Try lowering the visual effects quality, there are too many particle effects anyway. Maybe it will tone down the combat effects a bit 😂The fog and weather effects also seem to be bogging it down. Nvidia will be release a driver for the game soon enough. Then you can just have geforce experience fix the settings for you.
You can swap out the 3 three base headshapes in the triangle slider to get different results 4:25 , you can also change your appearence whenever you want in the lighthouse. So far I have been really enjoying the game to my pleasent surprise, hope you find it just as fun!👍

There's actually a lot of loot in that first area. Nooks and places to drop down on. I just found it funny you thought there weren't any because you would've looked for them otherwise!
In later teritories gold drops from destroyed boxes, barrels. I think Bioware forget to remove that from time then DA4 was planed as live service game :D
I'm not sure how you feel about it, but the combat looks really fun and the companion AI is a lot better than DAI. It reminds me of Dragons Dogma. The pride demon fight was amazing! I also love Neve. She's such a badass 🥰
Neve is so saucy! I like how prim but lethal she is. Her peg leg is awesome too. The combat is WAY more fun than it was in DAI, and much more engaging. I feel part of the battlefield and not just a slew of buttons that need to be pressed to get it over with
companions in DAV is just additional 6 (4 if u choose 2 healing spells) spells. Companions dont have HP, so they immortal, in ME atleast they could be downed.

I'm gonna watch your playthrough now. I just went to the Playstation store to buy the game and discovered it costs £70 - for a video game!!! That's insane. That's not even a delux edition with a ton of dlc. That's the base game. I'm gonna watch you play it instead. I haven't sounded so old since... well, since last Thursday when I had to ask the supermarket delivery driver to add my friend onto my phone's facebook messenger app for me... but ignoring that one, I guess I've never sounded so old.
Games are getting PRICEY. It hurts every time I have to buy something with that high of a cost. I truly hope it’s because they are paying the team appropriately and that’s the higher cost. I miss the days when games cost $20-30 😅 Oh gosh that delivery driver 😂
Origins was great! The 2nd game didn’t stand out that much for me. I loved the story and the companions of Inquisition, but the combat suuuuucked; it was so tedious. So far this one has been quite fun, and the cutscenes are wiiiild

Tbf, I had a hard time getting into Inquisition. The combat felt like a chore. But I was there for the story and the companions, they were what made the game. I’m hoping for more of that here, so time will tell!
@heyamarii did you like Dragon Dogma? I loved the first game I haven't gotten the 2nd one gonna wait untill it's on sale. I'm currently playing Silent Hill 2 and I do not play Horror games and its got my heart going non stop its very good tho.
@canadat4380 I LOVED Dragons Dogma 2, never played the first one. I have the entire playthrough of the 2nd game up here somewhere. My uncle, who is more like my cousin since we’re close in age, would play the old Silent Hill 2 at my house when we were younger. It would scare the shiiiiiiiit out of me 😂

Shaders only first time launch last longer (and of course each time graphic card drivers gets update). Of course nvidia update each second day :D

Not sure if I'll play this one but I heard they won't be making a BG4 which sucks or even dlc for 3. I never finished the last dragon age game.
