Really appreciate you taking the time to comment. So happy to hear that it helped you fall back in love with your Feeling s286. As you can see we definitely love our gem Sophys. Totally agree end of season is a shame. We are grateful this year to have footage to work on so that we get to relive the season. Thanks for watching 💚
Really enjoyed this Vlog ....we absolutely do have a beautiful country ...we have been learning to sail in Cork harbour with SailCork , a great sailing school ...we are hooked ! and hope to be on the sea next year PG
So lovely to hear from someone else enjoying the beautiful art of sailing! Your very lucky be be at one of the best launch pads for sailing in the country. It's really nice you enjoyed our little video as well, as we're trying to do justice to our beautiful little island of ours. 😊 Stay safe!
We had trouble ourselves believing how calm the coast was this year... Ha ha... Courtmacsherry, one of our favourite finds on the South coast. Unfortunately we didn't make it this year. But looking forward to getting back soon should a beautiful harbour with really friendly people. Cheers for getting in touch!
Great video. You wonder about the spirituality of the place, which you obviously feel and put across to the viewer very well, whether it's a result of the human and religious occupation or if that feel of spirituality was the thing that drew those people to start with.
Definitely one to ponder. All I know for sure is that the spiritual experience is palpable out there. And is experienced with or without a connection or belief to any particular religion. Some may say that this is the essence of spirituality 😊 so for me I'm hoping the monks were drawn to this incredible place because otherwise the hardship may have been too much to bear for them. Thank you for watching and commented. Means a lot to us.
I think it's the same in the islands at the extremities of Wales, Bardsey and Ramsey, Skomer and Skolkholm, the last two I can't say have the spiritual connection and I have only visited Ramsey which definitely gives the vibe. Bardsey is supposed to be a burial place of 20, 000 saints. The area around Ramsey has St Davids and St Justinians on the doorstep. Perhaps they were escaping possible enemies or they felt the islands freed them from distraction. I think this vibe is the opposite of what you feel in a place where sad events have taken place. As you say not necessarily religious.
Yeah it's definitely an uplifting energy, similar to when the dolphins visit us on the boat. Must check out the islands you mentioned online and hopefully even get to visit them sometime.
The scenery fabulous and the song inspirational, well done, Glen, Ber and Siobhan
Thank you... 😊
Thank you for this Beautiful footage! It also makes me fall back in love with our own feeling s286. Too bad the season is coming to an end.

Where is that at 4.28mins . Thanks
It's the Bull Rock off Dursey Island, Beara Pennisula. So beautiful with the lighthouse perched on top.
