most peps they just add the plastic cover to the caliper and done! but you went extra mile and painted everything which makes sense and made everything blend in which looks great. thumbs up to you i think ima do the same on mine. also ilike the fact that you drill and tap instead of using a silicone glue on the cover its realy safe thatway.

It's clear you (truebit) are are a troll but for everyone else, calipers (for a Camry) are usually made of ductile iron. There are only a few ports used to hold the brake fluid. The rest of the caliper is quite thick. Reviewing where the holes were drilled and how forces would be applied to the caliper, there a very low probability that drilling and tapping for such small screws would cause a stress fracture.

CCI’s definitely look better then MGP’s caliper covers. Also MGP reviews on their website you would think they’re the best thing out there but check with the Better Business Bureau they’re not so good. I had my dealings with MGP and I will never buy anything from them.

Time is money. All that time to use plastic covers could have bought nice aluminum ones and been done

in germany, you can´t do something like that. you may weaken the stiffness of you bake. could be pretty dangerous.
