You burden me with your questions
You'd have me tell no lies
You're always asking what it's all about, darlin' listen to my replies
You say to me I don't talk enough
But when I do I'm a fool
These times I've spent, I've realized
I'm going to shoot through and leave you
The things, you say
Your purple prose just gives you away
The things, you say
You're unbelievable (what the fuck?)
You burden me with your problems
By telling me more about mine
I'm always so concerned
With the way you say you've always go to stop to think of us
Being one is more than I ever know
But this time, I realize I'm going to shoot through and leave you
The things, you say
Your purple prose just gives you away
The things, you say
You're unbelievable (what the fuck?)
Seemingly lastless, don't mean you can ask us
Pushing down the relative, bringing out your higher self
Think of the fine times, pushing down the better few
Instead of bringing out the clues
To what the world and everything you answer to
Brace yourself with the grace of ease
I know this world ain't what it seems (what the fuck? Whoa man!)
It's unbelievable
You burden me with your questions
You'd have me tell no lies
You're always asking what it's all about, darlin' listen to my replies
You say to me I don't talk enough
But when I do I'm a fool
These times I've spent, I've realized
I'm going to shoot through and leave you
The things you say
Your purple prose just gives you away
The things you say
Is for what I love you more
The things you say
Your purple prose just gives you away
The things, you say
You're unbelievable (what the fuck?)
You're so unbelievable! (what the fuck?)
You're unbelievable
It's unbelievable (what the fuck?)
You're unbelievable

Awesome line
True, but.. yeah🧚

Current artists cry when they hear this because they know they will never have this much talent.

So true, let's check it in 2029;)
Yep. Cant believe its so long ago. Was boppin to this when i was in college. Now my kid is going soon.
This song never gets old. Anyone else feel the same way? 👍😎🐶
I thought it got old shortly after it came out but after forgetting about it for a couple decades it’s fun to revisit
@@booooo-urns Actually that's what I meant to say 👍
Don't know about the song, but I sure did.
i do
It never gets old. Still amazing like the first time I heard it
This tune sounds brutal and banging on the dancefloor. The crowd always went wild when this kicks in back in the early 90s.
One of the best dance tunes from the era. A song about liars is relatable to everyone!
Boomer 😂😂😂
This is a gen-x song genius. @@reydo17
Considering how old this song is… it has incredible longevity, some might say it’s Unbelievable!
A classic, still plays in my head daily after all these years. A 62 year old going around singing "Unbelievable" have my kids thinking I'm mad.
63 and still got my groove!!still blowing my 2 adult daughters minds!! Their girlfriends label me adilf,,,!!!?? got to watch my back, backside!! One of them pinch,touch,....my butt, and I was not ???? ok.?? They, she think that was funny . wait what?? I'm imagining, and sooooo confused......

It's 2020 and this song is still unbelievable.
Hi Foctor Dill.
That was funny because I was drunk.
what's unbelievable is that "listening in 20XX year" comment that never dies
Agreed and it will always be.
Dr Phil send me to the ranch cos I came from barbie and the 3 musketeers 😔😔😔
Their #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 from the summer of 1991
Sent from New Zealand 🇳🇿 to Cornwall at 15.
Unbelievable.
The production behind this song is UNBELIEVABLE!
It is really good.
This is a timeless song!!!
EMF (1991) You're Unbelievable. Still A great music 🎶.
Today I woke up with this song in my head! It’s been yearsssss since I last heard it 😎
Anyone still love this in 2024?
Yo la sigo escuchando...
Yeah, the eighties nineties generation
?
By all means.
Yep...and I'm 60 years old.. lol
Oh YES! Saw them play this before it was released - never heard of them, went to see them because they were supporting a mate's band. When they played this I would have been happy if it had lasted all night. I remember clearly how much I loved it, never having heard it before. Unforgettable night...
In 1991 i was.18 years old today in 2024 im 51 years old and i love this song
We are some lucky mofos to have grown up when we did…
me too same age 😂
I just turned 50 bro and I remember dancing my ass off in the nightclubs to this tune ❤
I've always loved this song
Nossa tinha 15 anos e dancei demais essa música.
I’m 64 and love this !! Still little bit of life in me 😂
😂
😅😂
❤❤❤❤❤ you are unbelievable my angel who doesn’t exist ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's a '90s classic that's still as fresh and exciting as it was over 30 years ago.
During the summer of 1991, I listened to nothing else but this song. For three straight months, I drove my loved ones to near madness by playing it on repeat. I gave my poor mother migraines. I lost friends, yet I cared not. All I wanted were those sweet, sweet notes. Delicious nostalgia.
😂😂😂 .... You're funny
C'mon now..
That's BELIEVEABLE!!! same here!!! Aloha..... Hawaii is unbelievably beautiful, !! believe that!!!! Peace
😂😂😂
i played it constantly when i was just learning how to play guitar, i also played a mean version of "i am the resurection" or so i thought XD, but 30 odd yrs later, i still play them, but now i can play anything on guitar, and this song has a big part to play in that!
Not many songs you could release 30 years later and it still could be a massive hit. This is one exception. Still an amazing song to listen to.
You could say it’s unbelievable
1991 was 30 years ago, big fucking oof, why ya gotta make me feel so old
@@TheKeller10132, and we are old 😂
Yeah! Today I went to their concert in Brooklyn. New York. It was unbelievable
There's not much good music post 2000!

Oh! A flashback to times when it was so unbelievable!
May 2020. Just installed a new amp and subwoofer in the car. This is the first song I crank up.
I honestly think it’s one of the best songs ever made, sounds better than ever! Great song for when you ditch the wife , get a divorce and go on the MGTOW path! 👊🏻
@@redpillmedicine5076 Right? It has it all. Great lyrics, awesome melody, guitar solo, cowbell, and that part at around 1:48 when the bass groove comes back in... awesome as f#*k!
@@Bauernade Ah, ya damn whippersnappers with your rap music and your snapchat...
Now I want to buy a new amp and sub just to play this awesome tune, headphones don’t do it
@@osoyoosforever9643 The bass groove sounds amazing. But even upgrading stock speakers - especially 6x9's and 5x8's can be a huge improvement even without an amp.
One of the best dance tracks of the past three decades
1991 - I was 9 yo kid..
2019 - I am 37 with 3 kids..
But, still jam on this song!
1991 - I was a 31 year old man
2019 December - I will turn 60 soon...
@@johnvanhal2450 1991 - I was a 20 years young boy, crazy dancing with it
2019 -I am 48 years young man, the same crazy dancing!!
@@vidaamoryrisa1493 I wish, but my heart is "kaputt".
1991 I wasn't even conceived, 2019 I am 26 and loving this!
That's not how math works, you are thirsty seven.
I remember, as a kid of about 5 years old, seeing this video on MTV in America in 1991, followed by Jesus Jones "Right Here Right Now" and Primal Scream's "Loaded" . What a magical era in music.
Totally agree.....when did it stop? I guess 31.12.1999....
It was great cause everyone was on E.
@@GrauzoneBay More like 1994.
nice share mate! lol i was 14yo when using computers wasn't cool & I told no one about my landline bulletin board i ran haha
@DOTHERIGHTTHING1989 I think more around 1996. Either way, the first half of the 90’s was tha bomb.
EMF was one of the best early '90's bands. Saw them in Orlando around "92. They were incredible. At that time, these guys , Jesus Jones, Edie Brickell, etc...brought us a different kind of music than we were used to. he younger generation took up where mine left off. Damn I am getting old.
Eddie Brickel and the New Bohemians....she was married to Paul Simon then
All sadly killed off by Grunge and then Britpop
The Andrew Dice Clay "OHHHH!!!" is what makes this song
You know... I don't think it ever occured to me that that was ADC's "OHHH". But, I believe you're right. It does sound like sample of him.
Love Dice
This song will live forever
Fantastic Song never get old even in 2024❤
Legendary and iconic! Boy 😖😬🤯🤯 I miss 80's and 90's. Those were the golden and platinum years of music and as someone whom growing up during this time... Gosh, we would never gonna gets back. I just reminisce the 'greatness' of this era. Where do we start... Each band are unique, crazy and giving the wildest fashion they could think off.... Remember TLC, Vanilla Ice and Kiss? Alternative, punk, britpop, grunge, rock, ballads and girl groups are everywhere. They are so original and talented. Who is with me?
I am with you. I read a TH-cam comment that said the 90s were a revolution. It really was.
digital technology killed music
I feel a deep personal connection to this song
The fashion may not be timeless, but the music is.
Who’s still listening this in 2022? I miss the 90’s! 😭 always will be part of my Spotify playlists.
I do. Love this song
I'm in mate! Still listening but omg that cap :)
Hated it back in the day, love it now. Nostalgia at work, I guess...
One of my favourite era's, good song i never thought i would be watching and listening to this on a tablet flat screen device how things have advanced
I’m 62 and I’m still listening to this music!!
30 years and the song continues excellent, it's unbelievable
It bring back memories to you
I went down the TH-cam rabbit hole and I ended up in 1991 with EMF, so awesome
Its just a freight train of pure rhythm. . . UNBELIEVABLE!
Glorious 90s and the best bands in different styles...EMF make jump all of us and stil rocking ...guys are amazing...so unique...
fantastic guitar solo
I’m 39 and was a child when my aunty used to listen to this and I loved it! I’m now showing my 3 teenagers what real music is when I’m playing this! U don’t get music like this no more!❤❤❤
My Mother listen this music
Just realize now that the backing vocals say “What the fuck was that?” in the chorus. Nearly 30 years after the song was released
You and I both!
I didn’t even know they were saying anything, I thought it was grunts and yells till I saw this
Smooth how they slipped it in.
I didn't find out till the past few years.
When we were freshmen in HS,my buddy Brad Fullerton dubbed it for me when it was new.
I think it's "What the fuck, whoa man"
just heard it now hahahah
Amazing, this song is already 30 years old and still sounds brandnew and powerful...
Agreed :)

This song is So "Unbelievable" still to this day
This song take me right back to my senior year of high school, and it sounds as good now as it did then.
LOL, this used to be played at all of my high-school dances back in the day. I was too shy to dance to it in front of others then, so I'm making up for lost dances by grooving to it now!
Anyone still kicking ass with this song , oh gosh those days this Unbelievable Song was just all about body surfing
The birth of a decade that was simply unbelievable!!!
His voice is so strange, yet so mesmerizing.
It wasn't strange to people in UK at the time. I also don't hear Damon Albarn of Blur in the style. That half whisper, lazy vocal if anything comes from Ian Brown of The Stone Roses and Tim Burgess of The Charlatans, Both of which probably stem from Bernwrd Sumner of New Order.
As well as that I can hear in that half-spoken 'the things....you say' bit something borrowed from Pete Shelley of Buzzcocks or even Hugh Cornwall of The Stranglers.
Upon saying that, at the time, the vocal I felt was just a preamble to that MONSTER guitar riff.
reminds of the Singer of the "Pet Shop Boys" lol
I think he's british it's the accent
Great song! I always thought he sounded like Mick Jones from the Clash/Big Audio Dynamite.....
@@storm4567 he's definitely English, yes 🙂
EMF was quite literally the start of a new generation of music. Their music throughout the 90’s defined an era’s influences in music, aesthetic and the crowds that amassed from them. For such an experimental time in music, EMF basically created it with their own sound, which is such a respectable feat! 😎✌️
The things, they say, get stuck in my head and won't go away.
The things, they say, they're unbelievable.
I Just love how after "you are unbelievable" the man says "ooough"
Unbelievable
There is LITERALLY only one word for this vid/song.
TIMELESS
People: accents disappear when people sing
EMF: hold my tea
😂😂
Jajajajaajajajajaajajajajajaja
Lol🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They made up for the accents by totally ripping off U.S. fashion. Oakland A's in England?
& Block Party
Damn it's been 25 years since I heard this. Thank you you tube for keeping good music 🎶 alive
Schubert Dip is a class indie album and is up there with the best of the era.
If you lived when this song was out you know how big it was. It's engraved in my head
Almost as big as "My Name Is" 8 years later. 😂
That song was what you refer to as "blowing up" 😂
This is actually even better than I remember! It's usually the other way around. That bassline is fire.
Dude our youth had some true bops. There’s just nothing like the 90’s. What a time to be a teenager.
These guys are unbelievable , as this song over the years
I was in the crowd for this, at Gloucester Guildhall. Peak indie-dance, when the crossover between the guitar music we liked Sunday to Thursday and the dance music we took E to in the countryside at the weekend got cemented into a single sound. ❤
Keyboards, Rap, Sick Guitar Riffs & Explicates?!
Ahead of it's time, Still Timeless...
❤ it!! Still dancing to it in 2024 🙌
And I am still screaming “OOOHHHH!!!!!”
Oh yeah!😊
Me too! And your profile pic is fine AF.

Que fuerza.....no cansa escucharlo,..... La batería golpea.....la voz melodiosa y expresiva.. la guitatra sencilla pero empuja.... el bajo habla.....genios totales saludos 🇦🇷
This 90s classic takes me unmistakably back to my first year of college - spring 1992
Can't believe I like this song. I'm usually into black R&B slow jams.
This track has got something I can't explain.
That's unbelievable dude!
Puts me in the mood to watch AFL
90's !!! Best decade ever!!! Generation X forever !!!
My little sister was born in 1991. I remember hearing this on the radio while my mom was in labour on the way to the hospital.
Rumor has it that your sister is still a legend because she was born while this song was playing while momma was in labor. Heroes will be remembered, but legends never die.
Because of the music out there today, this song sounds better every year!
Fuckin shite now mate, no real bands out there!!
