1) make a playlist for this series of stories 2) love the "ads" they are so "real" 3) the Sharli really are learning about humans, but we are so different that it can hard for them, but funny for us humans
same here, before this channel/the "Humans do What" podcast, i didn't watch any videos like either... and this is the only channel like this i watch, they are just so good at it
The Frairen and Miss Remiki series is my favorite, but these "Humans do What?" stories are right up there in a hard second place. Between these two series plus the Larissa Crowe series, Starbound has become my number one channel. As to today's story, I learned a long time ago to pay attention to my "sixth sense". It's saved my butt on more than one occasion.
That was one of the SMOOTHEST sponsor integrations I've heard in a while. Making a Bokksu sponsorship part of the story by "sponsoring" the in-story podcast is an epic level 4th wall break and audience immersion moment.
India government a few years ago gave a RETIRED Gurkha a medal. He was on a train in eastern India that was robbed. He did nothing until the robbers wanted to kidnap a young woman. He then unarmed; ended the robbery by himself!
With all these amazing stories i wish it were just a little bit easier to find them again. a playlist of all multi part stories would be very helpful. Beyond that you guys are amazing keep up the good work.
"It was a hard sell, since the Labor Caste was missing three limbs and bleeding out on the park bench." Yeah, Labor Caste vs. "Gurkha Caste" doesn't seem like a fair match-up. Some of the true stories about Gurkha dedication to the soldiering craft make Starbound stories seem like naturalism, by comparison.
At the risk of being pedantic, I’d like to point out that we DO have a technology of sharing our thoughts with other nearby humans. Likewise, we can see through and even walk through walls: speech, windows, and doors, respectively.
Listen idk who you need to talk to but having a sponsor in this storyline would be incredible. I absolutely love this narrator. He's so good at feminine voices and accents.
😂😂 Yeah he does. It's a job, so, in a way, he is. He usually looks like he's having fun. He clearly enjoys VA, but the saying 3:20 "Find a job you love and you'll never work another day in your life." is wrong. He DEFINITELY looks like he wants to be somewhere else at the moment. 😂😁
Ok I do love this channel and these stories and I have full respect for the readers. But why does the first person interviewed sound like the Count from Sesame Street?
@A-stray42 ok? So it didn't show their comment after I typed mine? It's just a simple misunderstanding? No need to pull the "should I tell them" card? Jeezuz.
1:31 Throwing an actual sponsor in there if Starbound ever actually got sponsored would be a genius move
100%, I turned on the screen so I could check if it was a valid ad so I could check it out to help them

Yes
jup the Adds are great beyond human reason
Even alien podcasts have commercials. Just can't get away from them...
"Humans do What" is actually the first and only podcast I listen to..
And no, I'm REALLY not kidding!
This channel is awesome!!!
same here, before this channel/the "Humans do What" podcast, i didn't watch any videos like either... and this is the only channel like this i watch, they are just so good at it
Can we please have the "Humans Do What?!" and "The Lead Dealer" universes made into playlists as well?
yha, i want to link it to a friend

And I keep wondering if the Human/Shralli alliance is taking place during Cpl. Frairen's time just in another sector the war has not jet reached

Cpl Frairen of the Yorpil is no ordinary soldier.
Soon she shall be a commander, a commander of legions
absolutely love the sponsor bit. really gets the immersion going. (usually hate those but in this context its great.)

@1:05 if it was John Wick’s dog, we’d be alone in the universe. 😂
Thought the same thing... Next episode... "what's a Baba yaga?"
Also notice how her/his last name is "Lore"
This one should have come out a couple of weeks ago, just before Halloween.
Yeah, not many would do well against a trained Gurkha warrior…
"Ayo Gorkhali!" indeed...

Wow! Great story!❤
That got quite dark at the end - I want to hear more!
YAY! I got into the last one and I'm so happy to have another. Thanks guys, making folk's day's one story at a time.
Have a great day everyone 👍
I can't wait to hear the deep dive they'll do on the book

the second i heard Gurkha i paused the video and said "OH NO" and then laughed my ass off
I can't wait for the speaker to have an interview with an actual human.

Seriously? I know of no one with those powers!!!
The next episode of the best podcast 🗿
The ambassador sounds quite a bit like a purple vampire puppet.😂
I was suspicious it was the exact person doing the voice of the FNAF vampire from that parody in Sister Location because it's THAT close.
I love the continuation of the the podcast lol.

I want to vote for Humans and Ethanol: neural toxin or funny juice?
Yes
I'm human, that's a deal I'd take right there
so is the "boxu" advertisement a parody of the bokksu snack box subscription?
You used a KNIFE on a GHURKA? 😲😨😰😱
“TRIED TO”
That damned ad read had me bawling.
Was that first guest speaker from transylvania and was it count dracula sounds just like him lol 😊
From the first illustration I thought it was Terry Bradshaw.
0:04 Bro looks like he is held hostage
Exactly. Normally you'd see a newspaper for proof of life. And subscribing seems an easy reasonable demand for ransom
If you look closely you can just make out the AI voice reader that is holding him hostage to the right.
Most people look like that when they work for money. 😂

Another humans do what episode? Amazing. Thanks
Humans the kindest monsters is literally the best description ever...humans do both so well kindness and monstrosity
Did any one else skip the story advertisement like you do with actual videos
No
Almost, until I realized it was part of the story.
No, a highlight for the story.
No
NO!

Good follow up
I enjoy this
Me too!❤

i like the voices... well done!
labor cast lucky gurkha decided not worth the mulch they would make
Hallo
🖖
Could this series get it's own playlist?
Yes we need one
The actual title of all of these stories is never mentioned. What the hell.
First view! First like! First comment! 1 minute ago!
Should... should I tell him....? Sort the comments by newest first....
