Fun fact: This actually is from Shutokou Battle 2 Taikenban, a demo version of Shutokou Battle 2 (known as Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 in North America and Tokyo Highway Battle 2 in Europe) released only in japan, and it appears when choosing if you want the shift assist to be activated or deactivated. In Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero it was reused for the Rivals section in Quest Mode
That’s super interesting. Shutokou Zero is my favorite game of all time and I didn’t even know that! Though to be fair, I haven’t played any of the Dreamcast entries.
@@Cavitt Yeah. I understand why. I haven't played TXR2 neither, but many people say it's awesome. I guess you and I should give it a try. Also, not important to this topic, but I played TXR1. While not as polished as TXR2 or TXR0, and despite only having the C1 rather than the entire Expressway, it's still fun to play
Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero was absolutely phenomenal. Take GT3 and add a bit more arcade... but just dialed in correctly. The game was cool in the variety of cars but also difficulty. I hopped up a CRX that blew the fuckin' doors off a Nissan 300ZX. Though, the more I upgraded it, the tougher the challengers were. And many more rivals (esp. Wanderers) would be up my ass. Wish the game had a Scirocco.
Seems a bit faster, probably to avoid copyright infringement? I'm not complaining. Anyway, I fucking loved this game. And I dug this song when I first heard it, and I still dig it now. The melodic guitar solo is simply beautiful.
今でも思い出しては聴きにきてる。
ゲームの世界観と共に大好きだった。
この曲ZEROの中で一番好き
もっと評価されても良いと思う
俺も同じく、同意です!

It doesn't SEEM dark n badass...it IS dark n badass! :D
The tempo is a bit faster here, still rocks though.
Yeah I know what you mean. There are songs that play during challenges. I have them.
Yo I keeps seeing these comments that look like replies but idk the context your answering. Like that are 10 years ago
なんだか、初代ペルソナに流れても違和感無さそうなBGM。
What do you even call this kind of music? It seems like a Japanese thing. Real hardcore guitars but no lyrics? Anybody know?
Some sort of Progressive Metal, not really Jazz Fusion tho like Gran Turismo.
Racing music, car go vroom now
