Hi, I just ordered the Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap, 8000mAh VR Battery Head Strap … Do I need a docking station with this or is it all in one charging facility ? 🙏
I recommend *AVOIDING* those *"Silicone Grips"* for the controllers, they heavily affect the tracking (even if it has the holes for every tracker), the silicone is very elevated and obfuscates the trackers when pointing at an angle. I also recommend the following: - *Power-Bank* with PD, 5V/3A, and 20W+ (these specs wont hurt your Quest 3 as the device only takes the electricity it needs because of physics, I spent 3 whole days researching this so trust me BRO) - *USB-C PD Cable* with "L" or "90º" Design - Any any *Head Strap* with triple weight distribution - *Floor Mat* + *Air Fan* to have a better sense of direction and avoid motion sickness - *Pulley System* + *Link Cable with Charging Port* for PCVR
Replace the pulley system and the link cable with a dedicated wifi 6 router (just for quest, in the same room) and a Virtual Desktop. You probably won't mention the image quality differnce that way, and it's totally worth it to get rid of the cable.
So I got my quest 3 today and it’s dope but bruh.. I don’t know what’s worse, the battery life or the „comfort“. I feel like this is designed for a kid. It’s too small and doesn’t really fit my face, and the light leak at the nose is huge even tho my nose isn’t small. I did order the bobo m3 and the battery packs so I hope this helps but does the face thing have the exact same size as the stock one? It’s just painfully awful tbh. 720 bucks for a migraine.

I have a question and seems you can help me :-) I have seen in your video you plugged in your headset with third party battery strap into official Meta charging dock. I also have latter and thinking of buying the third party battery strap. My question is, does it fits into their official dock. I saw in your video this is possible, however you "fine tuned" it a bit, so it started to charge :-) Any problems so far with this solution or something I should be aware of? Thank you 100 times
Does the meta docking station charges the boboVR battery at the same time as it would with meta elite battery strap? No one seems to know the answer to this.
BOBOVR headstrap is the way, tho for facial interface & controllers I m still waiting for what KIWI Design will come up with (considering my good experiences with their accessories on Q2). I don't see much point in charging station when it doesn't charge the controllers, and headset gets charged by BOBOVR batteries anyway. Lens pen is a great tip, I have to get one of those. Thanks.
Great stuff. Can i ask why you are not using the velcro from the bobo halo to the Q3. Is it because it is too short and if you do use it, it pulls the Q3 away from your face and leaves a gap at the bottom around the nose and cheeks?. I ask this as i bought a 3d option to use the bobo m2 and i have this issue so the velcro is pointless, meaning i suspect the bobo retrofit kit may be garbage. Still waiting for my m3 to come. We need your YT content expertise to point out the flaws as well as the highs in these things. Thanks 👍🏼

I have both the bobovr m3 pro and the elite strap with battery and for me, I feel the elite strap is more comfortable. I know I’m in the minority and I generally prefer halo strap designs, but with the bobo headstrap, I’m constantly readjusting it.
@@mikailkarais2719 i wouldn’t say that but definitely more than the meta strap. However it very well could just be due to the shape of my head. I just bought the GOMRVR strap with was like $35 so I’m hoping it’ll fit my head better

I will say that I have owned an oculus two and three and everybody complains about the head strap… I will confirm that it’s not the most comfortable, however super super overhyped about these third-party head straps honestly after purchasing more than a few myself, I can tell you without a doubt, it really doesn’t make that big of a difference what you literally have to adjust every single time you put your headset on and off in order to achieve optimal viewing, and comfort
Thnx for the info. I the elite strap with battery and it fits well. The battery is also great. First he uses the external battery and afterwards the one from the headset. I think I play 2 hours and my headset is still 100% and the external about 20%. And do all kind of things with it, also the screen with my room in it. This is my first VR glasses and I don’t know how the 3rd party’s are working. I’ve read a lot of different stuff about it. My impression of the elite strap with battery is good, so I think I will keep him. But thnx for the review!👍

6 hours or more from the BOBOVR batteries? HUH? so your saying out of at least 10 youtubers on youtube your calling them all full of Sh**? Everyone has a totally different opinion from what your claiming. Right now the BOBOVR is having serious charging issues with there batteries, yes I am calling you full of sh**. Also you cant really get your eyes closer to the lenses on the Quest 3. So although I have really loved my BOBOVR M2 Pro that I used for a very long time on my Quest 2 I am very upset that BOBOVR hasn't fixed there battery issues as of yet. I think they also really need to come up with a better solution to the arms of there M3 since you cant get your eyes close to the lenses do to there copy design of the M2 PRO.
@@christopherwenzel WOW that was 4 months ago lol. I now have the BOBOVR S3 and of course I love it. I got a after market leather face gasket and heck I am not even using it anymore, I am now enjoying it without it. Also no problem getting my eye lashes touching the lenses. BOBOVR really is the best with headstraps. Highly recommended for both the Quest 2 and 3 now that they have good long lasting batteries for the Q3.

I have a GOMRVR rubber/silicone face gasket (that goes over the fabric one) which has a much improved nose section that cuts out all light

Why isn't there any cooling fan anti-fogging for the Quest 3? They only have it for the Quest 2.

Is it a terrible amount of readjusting though? I want a new headstrap but I don't want to pay for meta's one because of how expensive it is.

Yep, not cheap, but the elitre strap with battery works very well
Just buy a new strap, the bobo batteries are useless qith quest 3, you wont get 6 hours even with swapping, max 2 at best.
If it’s the same as plugging in with a power bank, I got 2 hours and still had 70% left!
