That is not a question I can answer for you sorry as it's not something I have tested first hand other than to tell you they certainly behave differently in a number of ways. There is a lot of information out there on this however going right back to its use in aircraft which will help you more than I can - Taz.
Not recommended because RON 98 map ≠ RON 92+ H2O/Meth injection system map because they got different compound and additives.RON 98 isn't cooler than RON 92 + H2O/Meth injection and the RON 92 may even gain more octane and surpass the RON 98(depend on how much meth is injected). It's basically saying can I run E85 on RON 100 map?Or can I run on RON 100 on E85 map.But I don't know though because I've never tried it but theoretically you shouldn't do that.
I really like the idea of this. But it seems like its only good for highly boosted and or high temp intake engines? Would something like a holden sv6 or a na BF/fg ford (or any na car around 200-300hp) see any difference apart from cleaning and safe guarding the engine?
For NA applications you can build your own system that uses engine vacuum. You will need A sprayer, vacuum line, valves, plastic water container and connectors Ect. This system will be always on while driving and will mainly be used for the summer as you will be only using water. It will allow you to use lower octane gas and maybe save you some money. You can use the blue washer fluid for the winter but turn down the flow valve for winter use. Your on/off valve should be inside the vehicle and you should be turned off about A minute before you reach your destination. This is to dry out the engine A little and help prevent rust. The other valve is for water flow control and should be located near the sprayer in an easy to get to location. You might get slightly better MPG with by adjusting your TPS sensor but mark it with A permanent marker before you move it. That way you can put it back without the guess work.
I'm running an AEM 30-3300 kit on my ver5 gc8 tuned on 92 pump/VP M1 methanol/water. I don't have a failsafe and it scares the crap outta me. I really need to invest in one. Also, I was wondering if I can upgrade from the outdated controller that came with my kit, to one of the newer models? Didn't I see you on the Link G4+ live feed? I'm also running a Link G4 PnP
NePdXploit you will have to chat with AEM to see if that kit is upgradable. You might find you will be able to setup the Link G4 to manage your methanol/water setup. Yes, we had worked with Link on their live feeds :)
Please excuse the shaky camera work :)
With this kit added I have seen way over 50hp gain easy.
goood work guys.. it seems like you guys got a video about almost anything I search
That's the plan Saeed :)
Is it ok to use isopropyl alcohol instead of methanol??

yes u can. once mix properly. i use 70% isopropyl with 30% water.
@@streetangel6783 Thanks for the reply.. How much timing are you adding and is using 70%Iso safe?
@@sharewithraj Absolutely not. Tested and dropped by the US military. Makes combustion unstable and uncontrollable.
Love this video
Thanks SI RICKO !
i have a RON 92 in my country can i put the 98 RON map on the water/meth + 92 RON ?

Evol_AF has your car blown up with the controller malfunction or is it still running strong?
Water meth failsafe from AEM no longer exists.
