I have a feeling that there was no grease for a reason, the Germans would not miss that for sure, perhaps grease (which always collects dirt) interferes with the anti recoil, you should have discovered by now, anything to report?
👋🏾sup brAh! The anti recoil is external. The lack of grease is internal with the main spring! The Vortek kit grease and spring took the slight vibrations out of the equation braddah👊🏾😎
@@airgunspestingch.8426 Thanks my man (UK) good to know, yes the sledge system anti recoil is external. I'm shocked in that case about no grease, not like the Germans?
Cool video i like these kind of videos and im looking to buy this gun in the future. I have a question about the trigger adjustment could you not of replaced the adjustment bolt with a longer one?
👋🏾sup brAh! No I don’t remember but at the time it was done last year it is a known problem and I wanted to fine tune the first stage because it was too long between the stages! Try it you might like it the way it is but a friend who has the same gun but older found this mod on the net and sent the link to me braddah👊🏾😎
👋🏾sup brah! Google Vortek products because that is the spring tune kits I use in all my springers. Tom the owner can hook you up with the appropriate tune kit braddah 👊🏾😎
Diana made a very nice rifle 😉👍. To bad the don't pay attention to finer details such as lubricating the eternals. Weihrauch seems to have the opposite problem, over greasing the internals, lol.
👋🏾sup brAh! Thank you! Since I own the mention rifles, this one is right up there for what you mention😉 I’m out doing some accuracy testing as I type this out to 63 yards! Will drop a video results of the results! FYI this is primary a bench gun. That said you can still hunt with it but it’s so handsome that I wouldn’t want to take it out in the woods. If you do you will want to sling it because it’s a heavy gun braddah👊🏾😎
New to your channel, and enjoy the technical breaking the Diana AK apart. I do have a question; you show the “stock” spring assembly bone dry of lube. You then say you’re going to fix that, and then show it lubed. I thought you were installing the Votex kit that has a new spring and seal? I’m confused??? Did you reinstall the stock setup or did you put in the new kit? I couldn’t tell from the images (smeared with black lube…🤔). I also have a ? About the “recoilless” feature on the Diana 54 AK. Is this feature used so the shooter doesn’t feel the recoil? I understand (or at least from what I’ve read and seen on TH-cam videos) that the force of the spring going forward is opposite of a std rifle cartridge’s recoil, and “std” rifle cartridge designed scopes can’t take that ~ reverse impulses…, and that’s what takes out regular scopes. Have you had any “std” rifle scope you used break on a springer? I currently have a Weaver Classic Rimfire RV9 Rifle Scope 3-9x 32mm Adjustable Objective Dual-X Reticle Matte on my .22 cal. Benjamin Prowler. I installed an RC’s bearing in the trigger assembly (TH-cam video) made all the difference in the trigger pull. It was very cheap, refurbished & purchased at MidwayUSA. Still, with some H&N 19.09 grain extreme xyz pellets, very accurate for me. 1” or so at 25 yards from a bench. The weaver scope glass made in Japan. Small, light, very good optics for under $200.00 bucks. Of course, they discontinued it, and I believe Weaver was bought out by Bushnell. I’m not a big fan of what I call no name brand scopes made specifically for pellet rifles. But, apparently some do work well. This weaver was rated for pellet rifles back when it was still on the market. I’m looking at a VX-FREEDOM 3-9X33 EFR FINE DUPLEX (Leupold) which is rated for pellet rifles. Any opinions on the rifle scope vs the pellet rifle scopes? Thanks for the video. That Diana 54 AK is what I’m looking to purchase. I like to step up a bit from that $69.00 Benjamin refurbished wonder I currently have. Sorry for the long post..
👋🏾sup brAh! Yes I installed the Vortek kit in the Diana 54 with the black tar! Being the 54 is a spring gun side lever cocking, the action slides within the stock when you cock it. You do not feel the recoil when you fire it! But, the scope takes a beating unless it is springer rated like the utg scopes althon talos scopes some of the hawke scopes. I only use scopes that have side focus and don’t like scopes with the ao up front. I’m confused, Diana AK? Braddah👊🏾😎
Sweet Laminated stock side cocking rifle Ken! lLoking forward to the pesting and how you like the improvements on the air rifle!

Good morning, can D54 caliber.22 FAC power be modified to 16jules for field Target? If so, where do I have a good kit?

Superb video, i'm very tempted to buy a D54, how do you think the D54 compares to the Weihrauch/Air Arms rifles in build quality and fit & finish ?
