  • Hi guys,
I wanted to do a quick tour through my citrus collection. I moved a couple years ago and gave away a lot of my collection, but rescued a bunch of lemon and lime trees from Home Depot. I wasn't able to give as much attention to them as I'd like this year, but they're doing much better than before.
There was one that was literally a stick that has probably grew 5x the size in 1 year!
This is also the first year my yuzu lemon tree is fruiting. I got it 3-4 years ago as a small grafted cutting and I'm finally going to be able to taste the fruit of my labor. I hope to share some of my culinary experiments with you guys as well!
    Happy Citrusing!

Thank you! I made a video of my own version of kosho, although I'm not sure if I deviated too much to truly call it that. :) I look forward to finishing it!

Some of your pots have a grid of strings on top. Are they to keep pests out?

Oh, I definitely have a squirrel problem. The grid helps to keep them from digging up my plants and destroying the roots. :) It's worked fabulously for me and I find it much easier on the eyes than forks in my pot.
